How are you able to not say, “Pop pop popsicle, ice ice icicle, test test testicle”? That skill has earned my subscribe! 😂
Test**** reveal at 5M subs.
As an OpenComm user for 2 years now, this should be interesting to watch.
Thank you so much for this review! Exactly what I'm looking for.
i ve been looking for this dive deep into the depth review, thankyou so much,
I think this is the best review I've ever seen on youtube!
The outside tests were so thorough.
Thank you!
Cheers Noam!
thank youuuuuu for making these at the perfect time while I'm weighing both!
Excellent detailed breakdown! Thank you!
Awesome videos! Informative and entertaining! Would love to see an OpenComm 2 version comparison to OpenComm 1 and Oleap
Great and alltogether consistent review. Thank you gents a lot, you helped me to make a purchase decision. I do not buy audio devices/gadgets often but have subscribed to enjoy your very professional and informative reviews ft2t
Not only are your reviews technologically sound, but you gentlemen are extraordinarily entertaining. Thank you, for providing such a thoughtful review!
And thank you for these generous compliments!
That was an amazing review! I had never heard of the Oleap before but after watching this video, I am happy with my choice. I bought the Opencomm because I wanted a better Bluetooth device mostly for my car but also at home. While the Opencomm did this, I wanted to wear them everywhere and use them in more cases than that so I figured I would try the Openrun Pro.
I think what you nailed in the review and this is kind of where technology is these days is that your use case will really decide for you which one is the better option. For where and how I use it, the Openrun Pro and Opencomm, the sound quality to the callers I tested it with, heard no noticeable difference. With that being said though, if I took it out in the wind or used it like that most days, I would probably hate the Openrun Pro.
My conclusion...
Most versatile- Openrun Pro (I will also say that these are the best pair of headsets/earbuds I have ever owned. I love them!)
Best for calls and if you need to mute- Oleap
Best for calls at home- OpenComm
tqvm guys, i was just about to buy the Pilot but choose Opencomm UC instead...your review was spot on !
I think it's really awesome that you also did a microphone test on the bike. That's a usecase I regularly use during my lunch break to have a few conversations that I don't manage during all my meetings.
That helps a lot to take a decision.
And now I have to watch your Oppo Enco x2 review because I use the Enco X. My colleagues told me that noise in background like traffic jam, a running faucet or the clatter of dishes or the coffee machine is transmitted very well and present and is very disturbing on the Enco X 1
Greetings from Germany
Greetings Tilo!
Fantastic video thank you so much
First, your dedication is outstanding - I mean on bikes doing pop pop popsicle; that's dedication Lads. Second, great review and the difference between both units is surprisingly little.
Thanks Hunter! Gotta keep em popsicles popping! 🍾🍾
Pop pop popsicle. Test test testi….wait nevermind 😂
Omg! The pilot is amazing for sound canceling....😮😮😮😮😮, I just bought it! Thank you for the review
Ordered the OpenComms today - put your channel's name in the "How did you hear about us?" section cuz of your review of the regular Shokz headphones. Didn't even know you'd done this video until it pop-pop-popped up on my recommendations 😅
Haha! We probably put out too much content! Thanks for that @KinGizzard!
You guys deserve x100k subscribers
somehow i really worry when he said popsicle, icesicle and testi… a huge happiness when it goes to testing. overall thank you for the review, superhelpful!
besides the usual compliments I keep showering on u guys.
here are 2 new specific ones..
1) ur conclusions are epic.
top notch quality and precise.
Which is the exact opposite of the 99 minit speech given by world famous politicians who make me fall asleep.
2) you shud ALSO LAUNCH that conclusion part
as SHORTS.
3) I saw a video by Colli Samir which reflected that RUclips revenue share for shorts will further add value to ur bank balance.
4) success of my country men is very important to me.
5) wish u love and luck.
Wow! Thank you so much! Will look into it!
Great video. Undoubtedly, Opencomm would be better. During the pandemic, I might have bought these types of headphones, as there are few online conferences nowadays and I don't really need them anymore. I am currently using the Wissonly Hi Runner, mainly used in sports scenes. Its powerful features allow it to be used in most scenarios, such as running, cycling, swimming, boating, hiking, etc. More importantly, it only requires half the price of Opencomm.
Pop pop Popsicle, Ice ice Icicle and then test test testing? Rhyming is important bruh 😅
Ice ice icicle . Test test testi-cle . Oh my balls
for the Oleap, is there a way to know if you are muted or not? like a sound or does the orange button remains pressed so you can feel if is pressed or not? Im assuming you can mute without showing in the call you are mutted, thanks for the full review its really good
For multi-point connections, Shokz opencomm is great because it can quickly respond to the status of the device, Shokz opencomm Good!
This is how you do a review. Thanks a lot. I made the right choice. So no bias in their review.
Cheers Gregory 🙏
Hi thanks for the fantastic review as usual! How does the sound of this compare to the Oladance in terms of quality and volume? I love my oladance but I found in noisy environments the volume isn't always sufficient
We think these sound better than the Oladance - esp the bass!
Hi Is there any set that can b used for swimming that can b play forward and rewind on the same track ? I cant understand why they dont bring that function
Plz plz help me in choosing soundcore liberty 2 pro (6000rs) vs jabra elite 4 active. (5000rs). I want sound , Anc and transparenc to be good plz
I saw all videos they're very professional so plz give me your suggestion plz
Is the noise supression level adjustable?
Pop...pop...popsicle
Ice...ice...icicle
Test...test...testicle
1...2...3...
Lmao. How many outtakes did you guys take?
Wow, fantastic review and comparison. Question, does the Shokz USB adapter change the experience for Opencomm? Is it better than just BT pairing with a laptop? Thanks for the review, very well done.
It is supposed to be a bit more stable and saves you the hassle of pairing.
@@DHRME Marketing slicks says it is supposed to improve audio quality but wasn't sure if that was the case. I have the Openrun now and works great with my phone, no pairing issues at all. I would think the same for the Opencomm and Laptop with BT.
How does it compare to the opencomm 2?
Kindly do a postmortem of Logitech Vibe 100 headset.....thanks guys
Shokz openrun pro is not very good in multi-point connection. It is recommended to refer to the multi-point connection of Jlab Air Pro. It is very appropriate and stable, and you can get a very good experience.
Its true. Audio quality Open comm. Comfort Open Comm. Neck band Oleap uncomfort.
Sorry I do not agree.
If it's pop pop popsicle
And ice ice icicle
Shouldn't it be test test testicle ??? 🤷♂️
Would they work in a Samsung S23 phone???
the headband is too big.... any way to adjust the size
I could use a good headset since I work in front a screen all day. But it must be Bluetooth enabled. Thanks for the review on these.
Cheers Mr Vegas!
Come on 5 months and no one catching the icicle and testing being said repeatedly next to each other?
Mcdonalds drive thru workers right now:👁👄👁
Tech support:🤑
😂
u know of a bone conduction set that works for swimming and can rewind and fast forward?
Shokz makes the OpenSwim. We haven’t tested it though and not sure if it does rewind and fast forward. Most headsets only do next and previous track.
@@DHRME 🥲
It should be:
pop pop popsicles
Ice ice icicles
test test testicles hahahahaha
Hahahaa
I was waiting for test.. test.. testi... atleast once..
At 5M subs! :P
This might sounds immature but I really though he would say "Test, test, testicle" on the mic boom arm test. 😅
I think the Shokz is true bone conduction. Oleap is speakers pointed at your ears?
That’s right Darin!
While this is true, not having experienced a 'bone conduction' headset before the shoks gets quite loud if you just hover it over your ears without any physical connection.
@@brandall101 I don't think this is entirely accurate with Shokz. Maybe with other brands. I have the Opencomm2 and they don't float over my ears. As a matter a fact if I plug my ears with plugs or my fingers the sounds gets quite louder. So they are truly vibrating my jaw and going directly into my middle ear.
@@da2hampton I meant if you do that by grabbing them and holding them over your ears (edit: sorry typo above, meant 'if' instead of 'is'). I have these as well (OC2) and it's pretty easy to try out.. it produces a relatively loud bassy sound - similar to the earplug experience - compared to just having them rest on the bone in front of your ears as intended. I'm also surprised how much they leak sound at higher volumes. So they're basically like a somewhat inefficient ominidirectional speaker w/ a surface designed to mate to your skin.
@@brandall101 gotcha!
How to buy these in India? Any links?
Did you check the description?
The open comm mute produces a deafening beep every 10 seconds while muted, makes it almost unusable. Is there a beep on the oleap, and if so is it quiet (same volume as jabra mute notification) or is it as loud as opencom?
No mute tone on the Oleap
@@DHRME oh my that’s almost worth the price of upgrading alone!!! I mute on the regs with a noisy baby in the background. The open comm cancels out a lot of it, but having a dedicated mute with no tone would be great… I’m Leary about the comfort concerns though
@@loconius did you ended buying it? once you are muted is there a way you can tell if the headset is mutted? like the button keeps presed so you can at least feel if its muted?
@@desarrollofacil411 I never did get one, I wonder if there is anything like that too?!
My own fault first and foremost. Shockz opencom2 Tried them out for gaming and these are not meant for that. Sounded like a tin can in my bones
Test test testical
Pop pop popcycle, ice ice icecycle, test test, testicl 123 😂 6
I bought one and it went straight in the trash. Hands down the worst mic audio in any headset I have tested.
Which one?
