I know. I love mine but see so many bad reviews because it’s not being used correctly. New technology so I guess it does take a while to get used to when you first get it but mine has halved the time and struggle it takes me to do my hair. And I’d just like to add my hairs healthier and longer than I’ve been able to keep it ever before.

This came out amazing! Looks like a flat iron to me. I’m definitely getting it. I agree, I wish I could get this attachment by itself. Don’t need the other stuff.
I absolutely LOVE it! :) Sometimes I do wear it without flat ironing it and it's great! Yes, I would have probably just purchased the brush, but I'm trying to use it all. lol Thank you so much for watching! :)

Hi. Just watched. Finally, someone with my type hair giving a straight scoop! Questions: what products did u use, and how long did the blowout last? Also, what did u pay for the thing?
@@LJC123 Hi! :) I used the Oribe Straight Away Smoothing Blowout Cream and that's all on my hair before blowing it out and it last lasted all day for me. :) I paid the retail price of $499.
Girl, i cant say how many videos of the review of this product i have watched, and yours is by far THE BEST. I got all the answers I needed even though our hairs are nothing alike. Thank you 🧡
Finally! A review by someone with naturally curly hair! Thank you! I love your natural curl and you look beautiful both ways. I am sold! Do you have any videos using the round brush attachment?
You're welcome! :) Thank you so much, that's very kind of you to say. :) It really is fantastic! :) No, I purchased the Smooth+Control Styling System and it did not come with the round brush b/c it was for more finer hair. But, I hope you find a video where someone is testing it. :) Thank you so much for watching! :)
You could totally rock that with no flat iron, I like the extra body you’re getting at the roots from your natural texture still being there slightly. My Airwrap is in the mail. Can’t wait to use it.

Great video. It is definitely a learning curve. Also u have to find the right products to use with it. So my biggest amazement with this tool is the frizz free on rainy days. It was amazing. I use both the curl and the straight attachments and I love them both.
If your hair is 2c hair instead of using an ordinary brush just brush it with this blowout brush and It'll turn out straight trust me I always do that after taking a shower especially my long bangs
Valentia Katemba You’re welcome! 😊 Yes, this would be amazing for relaxed hair. I was just telling my husband that. Lol You will love it. 😊 Thank you so much for watching! 😊
It definitely works on my dry hair. In my First Impressions video I show it curling on my dry hair. I prefer that over curling it on my damp hair. Hope that helps and thank you so much for watching! :)
@@GleamyGleamyGlamGlam oh that's great that it works on dry hair! But does it hold a curl? I thought it had to be used on slightly damp hair so the hot air would dry the hair in the curl and set it. Do you use a hair setting lotion? I tried it on slightly damp hair which gave poor results as it triggered my flat iron straight hair to revert to getting frizzy. I end up with a frizzy curl with the airwrap. Setting it dry does not hold a curl for me. Maybe I have the wrong hair products coated on my hair? If my hair was relaxed I think it would work better for me. I will try different methods. I really want the airwrap to curl my hair with the salon frizz free look. Any tips or suggestions on hair products? Thank you
I have 4 type hair and already have the dyson supersonic trying to decide between this or the flat iron next to buy. I think I’ll enjoy this more as I can do more styles with it
Just finding this video now, it’s very helpful! if you have time for a Q i was wondering if your hair feels really hot when using this brush, mine gets so hot to the touch after a few swipes it makes me think i’m damaging my hair even more.. just wondering if you think even tho it’s hot to touch its not too damaging. thank you!!
Right. . . I thought the same thing after I saw the results! I sometimes do just leave it, but I love that straight straight look. lol Thank you so much for watching! :)
Thanx sooo much MissGleamyGlam!! Love your how-to vids! I have 2 granddaughters, one with 4B and the other about a 3B and I know NOTHING about hair care, regardless of hair type, even my own type 1 thin, lank, boring hair, lol. Anyhow, my one quest to learn now is the proper "bed-time hair wrap"....what's the best one and what's the best way to wrap it so it stays on a 9yr old. Peace be with you, and may God bless you. +X+
You're welcome and I'm glad they have been helpful! :) I do not currently wrap my hair, but I have in the past. I currently do not even own a scarf to wrap my hair. lol But, I will say the key for me was tying it tight enough and then some people put a bonnet on top to keep the scarf on. Thank you so much for watching and BTW, your hair isn't boring. . . it's you! :)
Question! Does does it last as the day goes on or in humidity? Do you find your hair starts getting wavy? I have a conair dryer (it’s flat with 3 different brushes) and it gets SO HOT I need to use a heat glove, so I appreciate you saying this doesn’t get unbearably hot. I have so much damage and breakage to my hair so I’m looking for something better that won’t ruin my hair!
It lasts for me, but I also use a heat protector that acts as a smoother. I have not worn it straight outside for long periods of time because I'm getting in and out of the car. I normally wear my hair curly here in FIorida because it's so hot. I completely understand. I did the big chop to get the heat damage off. Hope that helps a little. Thank you so much for watching and wishing you all of the best! :)
I just ordered this from QVC and I can’t wait to get it. I’ve been looking for a video from someone with textured hair and found you! Great video. I tried both the Revlon and Gold Hot round brush dryers and the Revlon seemed to cause some hair breakage while the GoldHot worked well, it was heavy and hot. I’m interested to see how the round brush attachments work on my textured hair. On videos, they start with semi dry/wet hair and I don’t see how they could work on my curly hair.
Thank you, I hope you love it! :) It does take some trial and error as you saw with me. lol I didn't use it right the first time and when I tried again it worked amazing. Thank you so much for watching and enjoy your new Dyson! :)
I'm sorry for the late response. I was on vacation. :) Thank you, I really love this styler! :) Yes, I sometimes do for a different look. Thank you so much for the advice and for watching! :)
I recently bought it only used it 3 times and not sure what I do wrong that my hair comes out frizzy still so I still have to run a flat iron over it, amazing you took 25 mins I still take 1 hr with this. I am going to try doing it how u say to hopefully it works. I was really excited about buying this but not satisfied with results yet.
I'm so sorry to hear that. Now remember I used a heat protectant that had a smoothing agent in it too. So, that probably helped with the frizz for me. Hope that helps a little and thank you so much for watching! :)
hey there thank you so much for doing another demo! It looks AMAZE and you figured out the technique for all us curly girls. Question: H!w long, timewise did this round take you? just trying to compare with how long it usually takes me to flatiron thank you!
Hi. You can ask as many questions as you like and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability. :) I purchased the set for thicker hair so I have not tried the softer brush or the round brush. It did not come with my set. I'm sorry I could not be of more help.
I did. . . I said it in part 1. I'm sorry, I should have said it again in this video. :) I used Oribe smoothing cream which is also a heat protectant. Thank you for the advice and thank you so much for watching! :)
Thanks for the video! I am really interested in getting this especially for the straightening brushes. However, I’m confused as to which set to get as I have thick, straight hair but I like volume. The firming brush seems to flatten out the hair compared to the soft brush. But not sure if the soft brush would be enough to straighten out thick hair.Any advice?
I'm so sorry for the late response, but for some reason your comment went to spam. :( You're welcome. :) Unfortunately, I have not tried the soft brush so I can't really speak to that, but the round brush is one they suggest for adding volume to fine, flat hair. Although, I know you said you have thick hair. The firm brush did not add volume to my hair, but as you saw, it definitely straightened and flattened it. :) If you do plan on purchasing the set, I would recommend getting the full set so you can see if the other tools will work for your hair. :) I'm sorry I could not be of more help. Thank you so much for watching and so sorry again for the late response! :)
I'm so happy to hear that! :) I'm glad you were able to snag one. I really like it and the best part is that it's not damaging my hair and that's the biggest plus. I hope you love it and thank you so much for watching! :)
Thank you for this review! I just bought my Airwrap the other day. I really bought it for "less damage" when I airwrap a curl. HOWEVER in order to airwrap you are suppose to do it on slightly damp hair. Well my hair is in its natural state. It gets curly when it gets wet. So the blow out with the flat iron gets ruined when I damp my hair. I end up with a a curl that is frizzy. Do you have any tips or advice on using a hair product that will "dampen" my hair to allow the heated air to set the curl but at the same time do not cause product buildup? I'm sure I will have to re airwrap the curls daily as I do not want to use hairspray. The less product buildup the less I have to rewash, blowout and flat iron.
@@IsabelleGMQ great idea Isabelle, I actually did try that. Curls came out nice but after finger combing or just leaving it be...it puffed up and frizzed. I tried different "wetting" products and did damp and wet...still same result. I think if my hair was relaxed that concept would work. As soon as my hair knows it is wet, it starts to curl. I started off with my hair flat ironed and then used styling products to wet hair and it just didn't work. So bummed as I LOVE the concept. I'm not trying to relax my hair to use it. Lol. I ended up returning it SADLY! 😭🤧
I might consider one. That looks like a heaven sent for people with curly hair like me. I dont care if you say, $550 for hair straightener si not worth it.
I'm curious how this would compare to Japanese kuru-kuru hair dryer which cost anything from $6 in Japan? I used one with ion and it worked fine on my hair (not as textured though).
You can use Kaaral Dazzling straightening cream which will protect your hair from heat damage and will add beautiful shine (and light hold, in case of humidity). Or #2 is joico but the first product is far better:)
My hair was damp. The set comes with a dryer to dry your hair a bit so it's not soaking wet. Hope that helps a little and thank you so much for watching! :)
Yes, it will. :) It has the same V9 engine as their hairdryer and their hairdryer (which I have not tried) gets up to 212 degrees F, but the new airwrap will not go over 302 degrees F, which is interesting. The only thing you will be missing is an attachment to focus the air through a nozzle. Sorry, for the long answer, but basically, yes, you can use it with a round brush to blow dry your hair. :) Hope that helps and thank you so much for watching! :)
I've tried it but, without a concentrating nozzle, I just couldn't get my usual blowout look. It was dry and looked alright, but not as sleek as I would usually get with a standard hairdryer (I own the Dyson Supersonic). I really feel that the hairdryer attachment on the Airwrap is aimed at a rough dry only. That said, I got the complete package with the Airwrap so it comes with a round brush attachment - that's your round brush blow dry right there if you're happy with one brush size. Even so, I'll always still want my stand-alone hair dryer, as I like to use different sized round brushes.
Thanks for your awesome review, definitely what I’m looking for, I wonder how long it lasts thou. Hope to get reply from you or anyone try Dyson for straightening hair!!
Thank you, that's kind of you to say. I don't mind at all. I use umbrella lights, but there is a lot of natural light in that apartment too. Hope that helps a little and thank you so much for watching! :)
Amazing! I'm definitely on the verge of buying but wishing I could do so without all the other tools as I won't over use them. Could you share what type of smell it produced. I know, odd question but as you know some of the screaming hot dryers will give you the burn smell or at least "heated hair" smell and wanted to see if you noticed that with this one? Thanks!
I know . . .right! :) It really is great! I completely understand, especially when you really only plan on using 1 of the attachments. I apologize, I did not say anything about the smell of my hair. My hair smelled like the Oribe product I put on before using it. No burnt hair smell!!! :) Hope that helps and thank you so much for watching! :)
I'm sorry, but I purchased the Smooth + Control Set. That set did not come with the round brush. I'm sorry again that I wasn't able to be more helpful. You're welcome and thank you so much for watching! :)
I'm so sorry, I'm just seeing your comment. It took me about 25 minutes for the dyson and my regular blow dry is less than 10 minutes. Hope that helps and again I'm so sorry for the late response. :)
Does the style stay till the next wash though? I have dry frizzy hair and my hair gets back to its original state after a few hours , i live in a highly humid area too (89% 😖) , any tips ?
It did last for me, but I also use a smoothing cream. I have used it in Florida and I had no problems, but again I would say the product helped with that a lot. :) Hope that helps a little and thank you so much for watching! :)
I have a video on the Revlon one step and it wasn't suppose to be a comparison, but I ended up talking way too much about the Dyson and how it compared to it. lol Hope that helps! :)
I get that. :) I was thinking it would have been great if the bristles were closer. lol But, I really do love this brush. . .it's pretty Amazing. Thank you so much for watching! :)
I didn't have to dry mine b/c I was out of the shower for a bit before shooting the video, but you want your hair to be damp so not soaking wet. Hope that helps a little and thank you so much for watching! :)
Hi! :) It stayed straight all day, but I also used a straightening balm. I'm sure that was helped. Hope that helps a little and thank you so much for watching! :)
You're welcome. :) Yep. . . I know right. But, I don't have to (I sometimes still do) flat iron my hair after, which makes the 25 minutes ok and less heat damage. Thank you so much for watching! :)
Have you dried it first with the brush and used the round brush one and/or the curler? Just curious as to how that looks b/c I have similar hair texture
I have used the brush and used the curler. That works for me as long as I have product on my hair b/c the curlers need something to grab onto. I purchased the smooth+control styler so mine didn't come with the round brush. In my first impressions video I show myself curling it after using the brush and after flat ironing a piece. Hopefully that helps you and thank you so much for watching! :)
Hi dear, It's the 3rd time I watch your video, as I want to be sure that it would work for my hair type (curly), I blow dry my hair with normal dryer then ghd styler, I am looking for a quick and efficient dryer, and Seeking for advice.
Hi! :) It does work for curly hair, but I would still use my flat iron afterwards b/c I want it to be really straight. As for time, you do have to go slower than a regular hair dryer b/c this is meant to be a one and done styler where you don't necessarily flat iron it afterwards. I love it b/c of the less heat damage on my hair and I do with their flat iron. I would say give it a try. Dyson has great customer service and if it does not work for you then they are happy to take it back. Hope that helps a little and thank you so much for watching! :)
Gleamy Gleamy Glam Glam, thanks a lot for your advice, I will give it a try as you say. Have a nice day and thanks again for the video that really helps.

You should see the amount of women with naturally STRAIGHT HAIR saying this tool is ineffective and does not work. Looks great!
Wow! That's interesting. Thank you, I really love the Dyson and thank you so much for watching!
You totally handle a good technique to dry your hair. I got the Karmin dryer and is great
This is so helpful!!! thanks for putting in the effort to try again!
I'm glad to hear that! :) Yep. . . I was totally using it wrong and I'm so happy I tried it again too. :) Thank you so much for watching! :)
OMG I have curly and thin hair and doubted that it would be useful, thanks to you now I know I need this thing :)
TheVivasi It really is amazing! 😊 Thank you so much for watching! 😊
YOUR HAIR CAME OUT GREAT!! IF ADD SOME WAVES TO IT WILL LOOK VERY BOUNCY X
I have the flat iron and blow dryer. I am tired of the blow dryer cause my hands get tired so I am here to make a decision. I am going to buy this 😂
Finalmente um vídeo com o meu tipo de cabelo e o mais importante: LEGENDADO! Gratidão.
hey there thank you so much for doing another demo! It looks AMAZE and you figured out the technique for all us curly girls. Question: H!w long, timewise did this round take you?
just trying to compare with how long it usually takes me to flatiron
thank you!
Hi! :) You're welcome! :) I love it. . . It took me about 20 minutes to do. Hope that helps and thank you so much for watching! :)
Hi. One last question. Is the firm brush better for our type of hair than the other brush they do? Have you tried both?!
Hi. You can ask as many questions as you like and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability. :) I purchased the set for thicker hair so I have not tried the softer brush or the round brush. It did not come with my set. I'm sorry I could not be of more help.
Did you add any heat production or blow dry and cream or spray? Sometimes that makes hair dry faster and stay straight.
I did. . . I said it in part 1. I'm sorry, I should have said it again in this video. :) I used Oribe smoothing cream which is also a heat protectant. Thank you for the advice and thank you so much for watching! :)
Thank you ! I appreciate the curly haired review. Your hair looks beautiful !
You're welcome and I'm glad it was helpful. :) Thank you, that's very kind of you to say and thank you so much for watching!
The Dyson made your hair look beautiful…….💗😊
Hie i tried everyway but it's gtn immediately frizzy.any suggestions?
Hello Glam, did you use this with hot air or cold air?
Hot :)
Your review is very helpful. I have one in the post due to arrive anytime so with your review, I am convinced it will work just fine. Thank you
I'm so happy to hear that!
I would use heatprotectant to wet your hear or leave in conditioner o
@@IsabelleGMQ great idea Isabelle, I actually did try that. Curls came out nice but after finger combing or just leaving it be...it puffed up and frizzed. I tried different "wetting" products and did damp and wet...still same result. I think if my hair was relaxed that concept would work. As soon as my hair knows it is wet, it starts to curl. I started off with my hair flat ironed and then used styling products to wet hair and it just didn't work. So bummed as I LOVE the concept. I'm not trying to relax my hair to use it. Lol. I ended up returning it SADLY! 😭🤧
How much heat does it use ? Is it healthy for your hair ?
I might consider one. That looks like a heaven sent for people with curly hair like me. I dont care if you say, $550 for hair straightener si not worth it.
Excelente démostracion , justo lo que estaba buscando...GRACIAS.
I'm so glad to hear that! :) You're welcome! :)
I'm sorry for the late response. I was on vacation. :) Thank you for the product advice and thank you so much for watching! :)
Was tour hair wet when you started using this or had you blow dried it at all?
My hair was damp. The set comes with a dryer to dry your hair a bit so it's not soaking wet. Hope that helps a little and thank you so much for watching! :)
Very nice . I wonder can I buy just that flat brush separate?
At this time, unfortunately, you can't buy them separately. Thank you so much for watching! :)
You welcome honey,
How long did it take you to do this? I have super thick curly hair and am debating on getting this.
I believe I say in the video it took me about 25 minutes. :) Good luck and thank you so much for watching! :)
Do you think the hair dryer attachment is powerful enough to do a blowout with a round brush? Like replacing your stand alone hair dryer?
Use the round tool to smooth out your roots.
Thanks for sharing. How often do you relax your hair?
You're welcome. :) I do not relax my hair.
You video looks beautiful! Do you mind saying what type of lighting you use? thank you.
Thank you, that's kind of you to say. I don't mind at all. I use umbrella lights, but there is a lot of natural light in that apartment too. Hope that helps a little and thank you so much for watching! :)
How long does it last?does tge hair become fri,my after few hours?
Wow my texture is like yours happy to know if works!!!
So sorry, I'm just seeing your comment. It works great and thank you so much for watching! :)
Is your hair wet or dry before you used the brush?
My hair is damp. I towel dried my hair before using it. Hope that helps and thank you so much for watching! :)
I now want this.
How long does it stay??
If you buy the firm smoothing tool does the main machine come within too?
The firm smoothing tool comes with the main machine. Hope that helps and thank you so much for watching! :)
Thank you for responding it helped a lot!
Hellooo can you do a review with the round brush????i have a curly hair too and i need to see its works.thank you so much for your reviews
I'm sorry, but I purchased the Smooth + Control Set. That set did not come with the round brush. I'm sorry again that I wasn't able to be more helpful. You're welcome and thank you so much for watching! :)
Your hair looked amazing
Thank you, that's kind of you to say and thank you so much for watching! :)
How long did it take it you to dry your hair vs your regular blow dryer?
I'm so sorry, I'm just seeing your comment. It took me about 25 minutes for the dyson and my regular blow dry is less than 10 minutes. Hope that helps and again I'm so sorry for the late response. :)
Did you used the same styling products as for regular blow drying?
I did. :) I used my Oribe Smoothing Cream, which is also a heat protectant. Thank you for watching. :)
Thanks so much for this video. I really liked your vibe
You're welcome. :) Thank you, that's kind of you to say and thank you so much for watching! :)
Hello darling! Thank you for your review, it was really helpfull :)
Hi! You're welcome . :) I'm glad it was helpful and thank you so much for watching!
Gleamy Gleamy Glam Glam oh that’s good to know , I ll also try that , thank you 😊
@@vallybaskar You're welcome and I hope it works out for you. :)
This looks amazing! You really don’t have to flat iron unless you want some curl.
Are u using it on damp hair ?
How many minutes did it take you ?
Thank you this review was a game changer for me!
You're welcome, I'm so glad it was helpful! :) Thank you so much for watching! :)
thats crazy ,, I might need one
I was surprised too! :) It did an amazing job and no heat damage. . .that is crazy! :) Thank you so much for watching! :)
if you want to get the roots out a bit more leave it on your roots a little longer before slowly sliding down.
Thank you for the advice! :) I love this thing and it's just a really amazing product. :) Thank you so much for watching! :)
@@GleamyGleamyGlamGlam Your welcome. Thank you for sharing it !
@@karinasan7825 You're welcome and
You're welcome and thank you for sharing too! :)
You can get to roots even better if you flip head upside down and deep part side to side.
Thank you so for the advice and thank you so much for watching! :)
Can you do a comparison between this and the revlon one step?
I have a video on the Revlon one step and it wasn't suppose to be a comparison, but I ended up talking way too much about the Dyson and how it compared to it. lol Hope that helps! :)
I love the revlon one step. I can get my hair wearably straight with it which I’ve never been able to do while blow drying.
To be more clear I like the revlon volumizer one step with the large oval, it allows me to put a lot of pressure on the hair to pull it straight.
Game changer! Thank you!
Yes! You're welcome and thank you so much for watching! :)
Thank you!
Very very good! It si very expansive!
Thank you! :) It definitely costs more than your average blow dryer. :) Thank you so much for watching! :)
It would be grate if they had an attachment where the bristles were more spaced out...
I get that. :) I was thinking it would have been great if the bristles were closer. lol But, I really do love this brush. . .it's pretty Amazing. Thank you so much for watching! :)
I think maybe the 250 engineers who worked on the attachments worked out optimal bristle spacing.
did you have to dry ur hair a little first?
I didn't have to dry mine b/c I was out of the shower for a bit before shooting the video, but you want your hair to be damp so not soaking wet. Hope that helps a little and thank you so much for watching! :)
wow! ur hair looks great!
I was so surprised too. . . Thank you and thank you so much for watching! :)
You placed thr brush with the back in the front, you need to turn it around. Then you wont accidentally push the on/off button.
It’s placed on correctly, but I just like putting my hands too close to the top. 😊 Thank you so much for watching! 😊
Hi
How long did the straight hair stay pls say 🙏
Hi! :) It stayed straight all day, but I also used a straightening balm. I'm sure that was helped. Hope that helps a little and thank you so much for watching! :)
I try to use this product and it did smooth my hair BUT after 30 min my hair just come back to be currly
Is this what gave you heat damage?
Thank you. I had same impression as you. 25min though!!
Amazing review! Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you, that's so nice of you to say! :) You're welcome and thank you so much for watching! :)
how long did it take you to blow dry your hair?
In the video I stated it took me about 25 minutes. Hope that helps and thank you so much for watching!
@@khawlahadrougui1300 You're welcome. :)
Woooow! It looks amazing
I wouldn't even flat iron my hair. Looks nice just blow dried.
