Vasun05 well considering they were able to study inhuman powers in the framework I'd say it is a practically perfect copy of our reality and would more see him as an alternate universe version than a simulation
I love Daisy’s inhuman theme. Also, two and a half seasons later, Daisy’s first transformation scene is still so potently the biggest turning point in this series’ plot. Like that’s the moment everything changes completely.
I especially like the contrast between the two transformations. The first time Skye (remember she didn't know her real name at this point in time) is afraid because she has no idea what is happening to her. The second time, Daisy Johnson has full knowledge of what is going to happen and is happy, she welcomes the change.
Actually Daisy during first terrigenesis knew her true name, Cal used this name before she went there. Yep, this is showing how important for Inhumans in preparation before terrigenesis, in Afterlife or in new Inhumans show, they are prepared and only some of them are elected. :)
Also, note that during the first terrigenesis, Daisy's cut on her cheek didn't heal. During the second one, she came out looking much better. I read a comment on another vid that postulated that Daisy has a secondary power that is something along the lines of accelerated healing. It could be wrong, and I don't think anything's been mentioned since, but who knows?
The second Terrigenensis was inside the Framework. Her Framework counterpart never went through it so when she enter her body it was a her "human" self.
I didn't notice it previously... but Trip didn't die from exposure to the Mist... he died because he was struck by a piece of the toxic metal casing... I am now EXTRA pissed about his death...
Her first transformation is season 2 episode 15. This is a great sigil for inhumans, as her transformation bares sadness and satisfaction, and her power crushed her boyfriend to pieces... It's the first part of the video too.
I love both transformations but love the look Daisy gives in the second one when the cocoon is encasing her. That look is the look of someone who is about to rule the world
When you look at AoS history, you will remember this moment, when a simple espionage thriller turned into something more. This also led into my favorite back half the shows ever done, next to season 5. Every episode after this, Shield, was dealing with a different threat, but were all connected, from Hyde, to Ward, to Talbot, to New Shield, to the InHumans. I like it when shows have more than one threat going on.
The tragic thing is, the first wave only changed Daisy and thorn girl, Trip was initially fine. But when he tried to save Skye, he directly came into contact with the Terragon crystals. We've seen diluted Terragon doesn't kill reggies, only direct contact. So what really killed Trip was his heart. Feel good 😊😊😊😥😥😥😭😭😭😭😭
When she first transformed, I kept going back to the scene and watching it over and over again, same thing I did the second time around, and now this video has given me an excuse to watch them back to back whenever I want, thank you. :)
I can only tell its been a minimum of 20 times for me. But it might be more, and to this day while rewatching with my mom who had never seen it, I still get insane shivers and wet eyes even if I try to hide it from her.
i just watched this video again and i still love it. i think i could watch an entire episode of JUST her breaking out of those cocoon things and i wouldn't get bored of it. it's just SO EPIC!
AOS has some of Marvel's best heroes/Villains and stories. It's such a shame the MCU acts as if they don't exist. Grant Ward is arguably top 5 in the entire MCU as a villain. Daisys character was so well built and put together that they could probably do some cut of all the seasons of her story and make a good Netflix movie at the very least.
I was following AOS heavily in their first seasons. This episode where Daisy first transforms is one of my favorites that I can watch again and again. However, the series doesn’t make sense with the rest of the MCU since they are responsible for major events that should be mentioned in the MCU movies. Once SHIELD came back in the series, I was done. A government organization coming back that had Hydra sleeper agents is pretty big news, and it isn’t mentioned at all in the movies? No one from AOS in the final battle in Endgame. Unfortunately, I act like they don’t exist in the MCU, and I’m pretty much done with the MCU in general after endgame. However, the latest Spider-Man movie look decent enough to give it a watch.
@@jmc28J17 After AoU, AoS diverged from the MCU entirely because it was removed from the MCU by Disney, because they didn't make it. That's why nothing that happened in the show after that was mentioned in the MCU

@@oluwadamilola6233 Actually you are only partially right. In one if her first comic-book appearances Maria Hill assumed that Daisy is a mutant because she was born with powers. Then Daisy explained that she was born with powers but she doesn't have a mutant gene, and that her powers comes from her damaged DNA thanks to her father. That was the official version about source of Daisy's powers for a long time. Many years later it was revealed that Daisy's mother was an Inhuman and that her father's experiments on himself awakened her powers without need of terrigenesis.
This just active her powers, she was born with powers. Remember in season one the guy who helped dropped her off at the adoption center said that skye was an 084. She was a baby with powerful powers. The lady who dropped her off died bc she was protecting her. Skye always had powers just went active now
Oh god I just realized that first piece to break away from Raina was an eye, the first piece from daisy was a hand- symbolizing there respective abilities

Then I look up to see who made AoS, and I’m like, “HOLY SH*T, of course it’s Jos!!!” And Daisy is my damn spirit animal🫶🏽
I think that it's because terrigenesis is giving Inhumans what they need at this moment. Powers and side effects are predicted about future events. Daisy during second tranformation was really beaten, she barely could stand on the legsso without healing she could not escape, thanks to healing escape was possible. During first transformation it was only small wound so it was nothing.
Trip reaalllllyyy was an amazing character, and Shield Agent. He was all the way 'IN'. He loved what he did and loved the cause. He was there to fight the good fight!
Probably the most mixed emotions I have ever had; especially for a tv moment. On one hand I was happy Daisy was an Inhuman. On the other hand Trip didnt make it. I was happy and sad at the exact same time lol.
Oh god, seeing these side by side makes it so much sadder. She should have had the second one the first time, no fear, a nod and a smile from the woman she viewed as a mother. Instead she got blind panic and the death of a friend.
Easily one of best scenes in AOS. Ideas from AOS incorporated into the comics Terrigenesis is a better explanation for powers than the Xmen random mutant gene
+Qu addimar True, but in that moment, inaction could have killed Daisy so Tripp went with actually doing something instead of waiting. Very sad and unfair situation for Tripp.

The saddest part is that he killed himself in a moment of panic. If he had simply waited everything would have been fine. Would have served him better to just curl up and cry.
No they can have a second transformation, like Vijay Nadeer when his sister shot him he fell to the bottom of the ocean and his body formed a second cocoon. However that's not the case with Daisy they were in the framework and she didn't have her powers there, cause it was an alternative fake reality so technically it was her first transformation in that reality.
xxxshootingstarxxxx So if an inhuman that already has their powers, goes through another transformation, they get different powers? Or does it do nothing at all but heal them if needed?
It really depends some become monsters like Lash, others become stronger. In Viday's case i think the second cocoon is going to serve as a healing tool and possible transformation it all depends on the writers in what direction they want to take his character. Hopefully the show is renewed for season 6
this was THE turning point for the series and that’s facts.
kiila grantpereira It isn’t about whether we knew it or not, it’s about the whole introduction of the inhumans and daisy’s powers and all.
