Agents of Shield is the perfect show to see every kind and type of person being on an equal playing field, no matter who they are, and I think that’s so cool. I wish more shows handled diversity like this one instead of treating it like a demeaning quota.

May and Daisy mission together on hydra just after they rescued Coulson May attacked a guy going after Daisy the mission after getting Coulson back. On the same mission May checked Daisy's sitbelt before her own. There's more then that starting from the end of season 1 to the season 5 final. There may not be as many scenes between May and Daisy as there is with Coulson and Daisy and May may not be as open about her feelings as Coulson. But there is scenes to choose from. Do you think Coulson gave Daisy the grilled cheese recipe at the end of season five when he thought he was going to die? Secret family recipes are supposed to be passed down from parent to child. Maybe he left it in the letter that he left in her bunk.
I think one of the main reasons I love Agents of Shield so much is because of the way they portray relationships. There are romantic relationships and they are super important but there are genuine friendships that are really just platonic. Like Coulson and Daisy's dad/daughter relationship or Daisy & Mack being like siblings. Those are super important relationships! And I'm so sick of shows always having the "will-they-won't-they" between wayyy too many characters. I also love that they show that not all feelings will be reciprocated (like with Deke) and that some feelings never go away even after time apart (like Jemma & Fitz even after Will AND Aida). They make the relationships realistic and the actors are excellent. I have cried more over aos than over a lot of other franchises...
