For me 14 and 15 were actually an AOS made for TV movie that was a master class in, well everything. Then we returned to our regularly scheduled amazing programming.
One of the scenes that got me the most was when they were told Skye wasn't going to make it after Quinn shot her and May went after Quinn in the holding cell. After Coulson calls her off and she says, "He deserves to die. Not her!" The way she said it really hit hard. May rarely let her guard down on her feelings like that.
My god I forgot how amazing of a person Mac is. Dude is just walking empathy and love. The fact he lost his daughter is unfair and cruel. For someone like him, I can completely understand why he never wanted to leave The Framework. My heart broke along with him. Can’t thank Henry Simmons enough for his portrayal of this now iconic character.
The way jemma was saying “it wasn’t him” like she was so shaken up bc she had to kill a robot that looked like one of the people she cares about the most it’s so mentally screwed up
I really love how the characters are changing.. like Melinda May.. we all saw her in the first season as serious woman with no feelings and stuff but now she had become a woman who shows her feelings.. like when Fitz died.. . Fitz-Simmons became fighters capable to fight in the field, from scientists.. they got stronger and fearless.. . Yo-Yo learned english..
Season 4 was a roller coaster and even though ive watched aos through 4 times i still get caught up on who's and android and whos not. They did a wonderful job, both actors and writers
We need to talk about Mack’s impeccable acting when he lost hope. And little baby hope realizing she’s about to die 😭 and Mack not being able to help. GOSHHHHH THAT SCENE IS SUPPERIOR
That scene with daisy and jemma where she says “I’ll quake you and then we’ll both know”. That was just masterful. That scene has stayed with me ever since I watched it, brilliant!
Can we take a moment to acknowledge the fact that when gemma see's Fitz he is standing where Leopold was? To show that he has kinda gone mad. Brilliant
Fitz's death scene was so brilliant.... It was not over the top like most scenes seem to be. I don't know why, but "I think my leg's broken" is the best last words I've ever heard. At first, I was a little disappointed that he didn't talk about Jemma... The fact that he was talking about his broken leg and getting out made me think he really even realized that he was dying.... He was going to make it out and Jemma was going to patch him up. This thought makes it even more heartbreaking.
iain and ming-na’s acting is the most touching to me.. i seriously love all the cast and their characters but these two have a way of potraying the emotions in the most amazing way. fitz and iain are so similar in a way and he portrays every little emotion in such a realistic way, and while ming-na and may are literal polar opposites, she made the character of agent may come alive.. my top two actors in this show
okay can we submit this video to the academy please I just- theyre all such amazing actors but on another note this amount of incredibly painful aos scenes put together made me want to vomit like elizabeth almost did when daisy was getting hurt im not okay :'''')
yeah I had to mute it for that part. There was so much pain in her scream, it was like I could feel it :( There are so many other great scenes that came to mind, they're all such good actors
And to think that people actually said the acting was bad as an excuse to hate it back in the day proves that they were never paying attention. Love this show and the acting was amazing. This show could make you cry without anyone even dying, just the plot revelations and the acting
Ikr, the irony of this concept has hit me many a time XD May is more emotional as a robot. And then when they come out of the framework and she's like, "You didnt know it was me?" and he's like 'yeah, 'cause you're not robotic ever' it's like XD she was so emotional that THAT'S what should've given her away lol. Omg. Maybe it's because the May android didn't have May's emotional need to keep everything locked up; so she just expressed the true feelings May had
I heard what “what they become” was also really hard chloe said “they told me ‘okay so you’re gonna break out of the chrysalis and your gonna be in shock and then you’re gonna have to start bawling, but you only have ten seconds to do that”. Lol look at me being a reporter
Season 4 eps.15 just…. Elizabeth is just amazing that scene and the bit with Daisy the “you don’t know you don’t know till they kill you!” My word she’s been through too much for tgis it’s the actual best and worst at the same time
Spies goodbye was absolutely brutal. Here's hoping we get to see Bobbi at least once more in Season 7 Damn near fell over backwards when I saw Hunter come to save Fitz in season 5
All of these scenes are amazing! Elizabeth, Iain, Chloe, well the whole cast are amazing actors! Everyone is talking about all the LMD scenes, but can we talk about Hope's death scene? Mack holding his little girl until she disappears in his arms and her last lines were "Don't leave." was just heart-breaking! How Yo-yo was holding his hand. Wow, so sad. But, round of applause to the whole cast of Agents of SHIELD, truly a talented cast. This show needs to be more recognized.
Season 4 did much better than some of the MCU's... The Darkhold here feels more impactful than in Dr. Strange 2. They did the paranoia of having your colleagues and friends being replaced by an LMD so much better than what The Secret Invasion should have done. And The Framework does a better What If..?
"But that pain, that regret, that's what made you a person. A person I love" That quote to coulson really makes me wonder how things are going to play out in the next season, considering.
what about the time daisy kneeled before not-Ward to, take her back?? you know, after she was brain washed. that was the finale of season 3? maybe? I cried!!!
nowyfolder Yeah, man, this show gets nowhere near the credit it deserves for how maturely written it is. The actors all deserve credit, all of them (Brett, Clark, Henry, Ian, Elizabeth, Ming, Chloe etc), all have Emmy worthy scenes, but they’d be nothing without this superior script backing them up
The next time someones like "Oh you like Agents of SHIELD?? I just couldn't get into it," I'm going to show this them video. Gaah! I'm an emotional wreck I can't watch so many intense scenes back to back like that!
I've been rewatching AoS after finishing the latest season, and the scene where quinn shoots sky was just so well acted Like her reaction to being shot was completely realistic, and her inability to even call for help afterwards was pretty accurate to what would really happen if you were shot in the stomach You don't die fast from a gunshot wound like that, it's slow, painful, and you can't even scream for help
11:17 This scene was amazing Iain is such an incredible actor Then when daisy said who are you talking to my heart sunk in the realisation. This show brakes me literally
Honestly I makes me so sad that the MCU never acknowledged this show, if this had Marvel backing it the awards would be rolling out. I seriously hope they bring in Daisy to the MCU, I love FitzSimmons but they have their happy ending.
It started as MCU and continued to reference it throughout its run. Unfortunately, Kevin Feige doesn't like it and doesn't acknowledge its MCU relevance so he wants to keep it unassociated. I mean, in Age of Ultron, would Fury have been able to pull off that great rescue at the end if Coulson in AOS hadn't rebuilt and crewed that Helicarrier as part of the Theta Protocol?
All of these scenes are so good. They are such a talented cast. There’s a few other scenes that stood out to me: 1. Aida’s reaction when Fitz said he only had room in his heart for Jemma 2. Right before they catch Hive and they start messing with his mind and Ward and Will start coming out 3. When Coulson is remembering Tahiti and he starts telling them to let him die 4. Daisy during Lincoln’s death
I agree with 4 x 15. I have watched it too many times to count because of the acting. My favorite part of the whole episode is when Fitz throws the knife up and stabs Jemma's leg. The face change is incredible!
These are great! Here's mine. If anyone's curious... 1. Iain's scenes with himself in the framework. Especially the surgery. 2. The pod scenes in 1x22 3. Fitzsimmons showdown in 4x15 4. Fitz's death... I hate those words. 5. Fitzsimmons in 6x06 6. May's "death" in 6x13 7. Daisy and Simmons in 4x15 8. Simmons alone on Maveth 9. May becomes the cavalry 10. Daisy and Coulson in 5x12 Shoutouts: Fitz confronts Ward, Mack forgives Daisy, LMD May, Elena cries with Simmons after losing her arms, Fitzsimmons hug after the Framework, Fitz screams at the monolith, Mack and Yo Yo in the Framework with Hope, Lincoln's death, and Daisy getting her powers (Chloe talks about how hard it was to shoot).
I didn't find it all that sad either. But the last moments together with hive were brilliant. Just the serenity of them both in the face of the inevitable and instead of fighting to the end they enjoy a last glimpse of actual beauty together.
@@justjoking4223 I totally get how you feel, but I disagree. Losing Hive was incredibly upsetting for me in particular because I thought Ward was gone forever. He was always my favorite character. Losing him damn near killed my soul
John Hannah as Radcliffe deserves some mention. He's fantastic. He manages to dance the line between a genuinely likable and sympathetic character, and a fallen, corrupted villain. That scene where he's talking to Daisy in the cells, about how one sentence can change a life? Or where he saves Fitz. "This was never. My. Intention." That line practically summarises his whole character, and I love it.
Iain is one of the most amazing actors I’ve ever seen. No doubt. But he’s not a better actor than Elizabeth. They are both equal and deserve emmys for their chemistry and ability to display emotions so well. Every scene they have together proves that they are two of the most underrated and best actors ever to grace screens across the world. Thank you for listening to my TEDTalk
This video has randomly blown up in the past week which is very strange I do not know what it going on but it appears to coincide with the Area 51 raid so I shall attribute its newfound success to alien activity. I feel like RUclips might be recommending this to a lot of people as well because I haven't watched some AOS content in *months* but this suddenly popped up today.
All the scenes with Mack get me. Maybe because I relate to him so much but because he really REALLY cares for every single person on the team and his daughter in the framework. The way he comforts Fitz when he's dying and how he's holding his daughter before she disappears is gut-wrenching.

@@allegraanegra455 I resent the fact that I, like you, do not lack critical thinking skills. You must be so happy in life.
can we just already admit it and say that 4x15 is the superior episode of this whole series
Mirati FACTS
Self Control is god tier TV
For me 14 and 15 were actually an AOS made for TV movie that was a master class in, well everything. Then we returned to our regularly scheduled amazing programming.
I'm gonna have to put 5x14 above 4x15, but 4x15 is definitely second imo.
Apparently, in almost any article, the best AoS episode is 4x15.
The way Fitz protects “Skye” is some of the most pure love I’ve seen in a TV show. He even keeps it from Jemma, which is REALLY saying something.
One of the scenes that got me the most was when they were told Skye wasn't going to make it after Quinn shot her and May went after Quinn in the holding cell. After Coulson calls her off and she says, "He deserves to die. Not her!" The way she said it really hit hard. May rarely let her guard down on her feelings like that.
ming na wen SUPREMACY my woman does all her own STUNTS
My god I forgot how amazing of a person Mac is. Dude is just walking empathy and love.
The fact he lost his daughter is unfair and cruel. For someone like him, I can completely understand why he never wanted to leave The Framework. My heart broke along with him.
Can’t thank Henry Simmons enough for his portrayal of this now iconic character.
He's hands down one of my if not the Most favourite characters across all fandoms
4x15 is a flawless episode
literally any scene from that episode alone could be all this video needed
GIVE THEM A EMMY YOUR COWARDS! Especially Iain! God this man acting is just... don't have words!
And Elizabeth Iain is absolutely amazing but Elizabeth is just near perfect 🍋
I would've included a spies goodbye, so much conflicting emotion portrayed with barely a word spoken from the man
yes!! Henry man, he’s so brilliant!! whenever he’s sad he breaks my heart!!
How dare you type that.
I’m emotional now.
But I absolutely agree.
You really trying to kill us with emotion on this fine day huh
aerogirl246 ‘tis my favourite hobby
It's not just the acting, the filmmakers deserve massive praise for how beautifully laid out and cut the scenes are
The way jemma was saying “it wasn’t him” like she was so shaken up bc she had to kill a robot that looked like one of the people she cares about the most it’s so mentally screwed up
I really love how the characters are changing.. like Melinda May.. we all saw her in the first season as serious woman with no feelings and stuff but now she had become a woman who shows her feelings.. like when Fitz died..
.
Fitz-Simmons became fighters capable to fight in the field, from scientists.. they got stronger and fearless..
.
Yo-Yo learned english..
ian quinn shooting skye and feeling absolutely no emotion bordered on psychopathic. that scene was amazing.
That sequence about May in Bahrain and the aftermath was pure acting gold. I still can't stop crying every time I watch it.
That scene has stayed with me ever since I watched it, brilliant!
sky's inhuman stroyline, the begining of it, is absolutely masterful, beautifully done
every single character, the dialogue, the emotions, the acting
i can only legally express 7 emotions and i am feeling every one of them in this chili’s tonight
"Do something!!!!" Was my personal favorite. Also Aida's reaction after Fitz says he only has room in his heart for Jemma.
*Iain enters a scene*
Me: GIVE THE MAN A OSCAR ALREADY
I love how majority of these scenes and Fitz and Simmons
Someone give Chloe and Iain an academy award because oh my god I still cry over these scenes
iain and ming-na’s acting is the most touching to me.. i seriously love all the cast and their characters but these two have a way of potraying the emotions in the most amazing way. fitz and iain are so similar in a way and he portrays every little emotion in such a realistic way, and while ming-na and may are literal polar opposites, she made the character of agent may come alive.. my top two actors in this show
okay can we submit this video to the academy please I just-
theyre all such amazing actors but on another note this amount of incredibly painful aos scenes put together made me want to vomit like elizabeth almost did when daisy was getting hurt im not okay :'''')
yeah I had to mute it for that part. There was so much pain in her scream, it was like I could feel it :(
There are so many other great scenes that came to mind, they're all such good actors
Any scene with Ian and Elizabeth is award-winning. Also, season 4 is by far my favorite season. Season 4 is literally a ROLLER COSTER.
And to think that people actually said the acting was bad as an excuse to hate it back in the day proves that they were never paying attention. Love this show and the acting was amazing. This show could make you cry without anyone even dying, just the plot revelations and the acting
All the actors in this show deserve awards, they are all so talented.
The emotionless, almost robotic, May's most emotional scene is when she's a robot...
@@helen_9658 and that lmd was free to choose what she wanted to do, she was a very human lmd
I heard what “what they become” was also really hard chloe said “they told me ‘okay so you’re gonna break out of the chrysalis and your gonna be in shock and then you’re gonna have to start bawling, but you only have ten seconds to do that”.
Lol look at me being a reporter
4x15 is by far like the best episode ever and then it's followed by all of the other best episode ever
Here's hoping we get to see Bobbi at least once more in Season 7
Damn near fell over backwards when I saw Hunter come to save Fitz in season 5
Exactly when I saw Hunter again I literally screamed I knew it I knew he would come back I literally I literally screamed!
11:41 when ever she says “who are you talking to” then it’s like a huge realization that he’s the only one there
You are correct 100%, The scene in 4 - 15 between Daisy and Simmons is my favorite scene in the whole show, that is just phenomenal.
The Devil Complex episode is by far my favorite one though. To see Iain's Doctor and Fitz acting side by side is amazing. He's a brilliant actor!
Season 4 deserves an award altogether.
The fact that most of these are from s4 just goes to show how immensly traumatizing that season was xD
Season 4 did much better than some of the MCU's... The Darkhold here feels more impactful than in Dr. Strange 2. They did the paranoia of having your colleagues and friends being replaced by an LMD so much better than what The Secret Invasion should have done. And The Framework does a better What If..?
they acted there ass off and still are underrated why?
"But that pain, that regret, that's what made you a person. A person I love"
That quote to coulson really makes me wonder how things are going to play out in the next season, considering.
what about the time daisy kneeled before not-Ward to, take her back?? you know, after she was brain washed. that was the finale of season 3? maybe? I cried!!!
that one was ssoooooo good! Chloe is a goddess
Penultimate episode, actually, not finale. But yes, the sentiment remains, it was extremely shocking.
@@tomaszenko13 yes but Chloe's acting is on point and the one when Lincoln sacrificed himself she's really gopd
nowyfolder Yeah, man, this show gets nowhere near the credit it deserves for how maturely written it is.
I've been rewatching AoS after finishing the latest season, and the scene where quinn shoots sky was just so well acted
Like her reaction to being shot was completely realistic, and her inability to even call for help afterwards was pretty accurate to what would really happen if you were shot in the stomach
You don't die fast from a gunshot wound like that, it's slow, painful, and you can't even scream for help
11:17
This scene was amazing Iain is such an incredible actor
Then when daisy said who are you talking to my heart sunk in the realisation.
This show brakes me literally
Mack and Hope plus Fitz' death are the two scenes that always make me cry and you put them right next to each other.
Skye: wakes up, calmly says "Hey Fitz. What's wrong?"
Fitz: "WITH DESTRUCTION ALL AROUND YOU"
no matter how many times i watch aos i will never get bored and these scenes always hit HARD time after time.
There’s a few other scenes that stood out to me:
1. Aida’s reaction when Fitz said he only had room in his heart for Jemma
2. Right before they catch Hive and they start messing with his mind and Ward and Will start coming out
3. When Coulson is remembering Tahiti and he starts telling them to let him die
4. Daisy during Lincoln’s death
I agree with 4 x 15. I have watched it too many times to count because of the acting. My favorite part of the whole episode is when Fitz throws the knife up and stabs Jemma's leg. The face change is incredible!
The scene where Bobby is getting tortured by Ward. That there was A1 acting by her. Amazing.
These are great!
Here's mine. If anyone's curious...
1. Iain's scenes with himself in the framework. Especially the surgery.
2. The pod scenes in 1x22
3. Fitzsimmons showdown in 4x15
4. Fitz's death... I hate those words.
5. Fitzsimmons in 6x06
6. May's "death" in 6x13
7. Daisy and Simmons in 4x15
8. Simmons alone on Maveth
9. May becomes the cavalry
10. Daisy and Coulson in 5x12
Shoutouts: Fitz confronts Ward, Mack forgives Daisy, LMD May, Elena cries with Simmons after losing her arms, Fitzsimmons hug after the Framework, Fitz screams at the monolith, Mack and Yo Yo in the Framework with Hope, Lincoln's death, and Daisy getting her powers (Chloe talks about how hard it was to shoot).
the “me looking at my passport photo” GOT ME
daisy/fitz friendship is so underrated i love them
The saddest moment for me has to be when Lincoln dies
I hated that guy, but to each their own.
@@justjoking4223
Why?
I couldn’t even watch that part. I skipped most of that episode
My. Intention."
That line practically summarises his whole character, and I love it.
There are some shows with a single character or a few that are the heart of the show. This one, it's the entire cast.
Thank you have been trying to say how amazing Elizabeth is among all the (absolutely correct) Iain comments
I couldn't separate Ian from Elizabeth, nor their characters or their acting skills. They're the same!
Chloe Bennett is most definitely one of my favorite actors
Same here!!
THIS SHOW IS SO FREAKIN UNDERRATED I WISH IT GOT MORE ATTENTION!!!!
Fitz's death scene made me ball my eyes out, the fact he was unaware and was just softly laughing killed me :(
I always loved fitz's and sky's/daisy's interactions and how much they seem to care foe each other
Coulson: “THAT CARRIES WAIT!”
May: (bro chill)

Lol
"I think my legs are broken" that line broke my heart 😭
Darn you for making me relive all those powerful moments, now I have to go watch a blooper reel again.
12:38 Shout out to the dude who was payed to stand completely emotionless like that.
I’ve watched 4x15 so many times I see it in my dreams 😂
Sometimes I literally turn it as I'm about to go to bed! It's my lullaby and my equivalent of a hug when I have a really bad day!!
This video has randomly blown up in the past week which is very strange I do not know what it going on but it appears to coincide with the Area 51 raid so I shall attribute its newfound success to alien activity. I would also like to say I could not include every scene that deserves an academy award in this because I get at least 5 comments a day telling me what I should’ve put in. Also stream my irl videos on my channel “bonus emma content” thanks gang
They just released the newest season on Netflix
Ashley M. Ohhh I suppose that’s a more plausible explanation. I’m in the UK and we don’t have it on Netflix so I had no idea aha
Http Starks great video, what episode of elders react is that ??
I feel like RUclips might be recommending this to a lot of people as well because I haven't watched some AOS content in *months* but this suddenly popped up today.
@@xstarks I'm sure others have already said it, but Academy Awards are for movies. AoS is a television show and thus deserve Emmy awards.
Lincoln's death was my favorite scene of the show; Daisy, Lincoln and Hive's acting along with the cinematography was amazing
I love how ONE EPISODE is almost five whole minutes of this video. I love that episode
The second half of season 4, the LMD story arc, was a goddamn masterpiece.
Fitz's death in season 5 makes me cry every time I see it. 😭
that cast. they are all so SO talented.
All the scenes with Mack get me. Maybe because I relate to him so much but because he really REALLY cares for every single person on the team and his daughter in the framework. The way he comforts Fitz when he's dying and how he's holding his daughter before she disappears is gut-wrenching.
