My favourite dynamic of the show. I honestly thought this would be the easiest video to make - and it turned out to be one of the hardest because it was so hard to capture everything I loved about this relationship. I really wanted to take a more narrative approach to this, showing how Skye/Daisy started off searching for her parents, how May wanted to have children but had it taken away by the trauma of Bahrain, and how Coulson brought them all together. Not only do Coulson and May grow to be Daisy's surrogate parents, but they continuously support each other through tough periods in their lives - helping May deal with Andrew/Lash, consoling Coulson when Rosalind died, bringing Daisy back in when she went rogue. Any two of them are willing to risk whatever it takes for the other. I just love their family dynamic so much.

i realize I am quite off topic but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released tv shows online?
The fact that Chloe Bennet (Daisy) is Chinese-American makes this family feel so authentic, since Ming Na Wen (May) is Chinese. And both of their characters' ethnicities weren't set until they were both cast in their roles.
I definitely thought that she was their tv daughter in the beginning

Facts! Daisy could have definitely passed as Coulson and May's daughter.

I wish they had even one undercover mission where Phil and May had to pose as Skye's parents. 🥺 I loved the family dynamic between these three.
I read a fanfiction a while back with exactly that story and it was amazing!

Fun fact! In the MCU, both Quake and Daredevil went to the same orphanage (Saint Agnes)!
One complaint Clark Gregg had about the show was the fact that they couldn't crossover with the Netflix Marvel shows
Also fun fact! Micro, the Punisher's sidekick, was a member of the Rising Tide, the same organization Daisy was a member of before she joined SHIELD.

Eh? Disrepectful? To whom? I don't need to see them do performative actions - I know how much of a family they are. It's in every expression they make - verbal or otherwise.
In my head canon they all met up again in real life maybe at Fitzsimmons house and they all just sat and caught up and Daisy would be an awesome aunt to Alya and would bring her cool space artifacts that she knew were 100% safe and maybe she’d Quake stuff to make Alya smile and be happy.

This was honestly the most emotional video yet. I was legit on the verge of crying, especially in those last few seconds. I know that every member of the SHIELD team is considered family, but the relationship between these three is special.
In terms of the editing, you have really improved your skills and creativity since you first started this series of tribute videos. The many other channels that have made tributes to this show have got nothing on you. Keep up the good work!

Cal and Jiaying could not have asked for better substitute parents than Coulson and May.

@@isagcolsa Because by that point, she had become so twisted by the trauma she endured from Whitehall's experiments. She loved her daughter, but not enough to let that love to stop from waging a war with humanity. This situation occurs several times in the MCU, like Ego/Quill, Mandarin/Shang-Chi.

One of the Greatest Television shows ever! A true hidden gem. They make you actually care about the characters, storytelling is brilliant and all connected with drama, action, mystery and absolutely Amazing actors

Personally, I am convinced that Daisy/Skye is May and Coulson's biological daughter, and that Jiaying and Cal kidnapped her, erased their memories, and messed with her DNA somehow. And I am still convinced even Post-S7.

Maybe a silly question but I remember hearing 'St. Agnes' in "Daredevil", too. Is it the same orphanage?
If so, maybe Matt Murdock and Skye/Daisy met?
It's like a mother, father, daughter relationship. Daisy never knew her parents until the second season. When she finally feels like she can have a family, they both go rogue.
It's only through wiping her father's memory, that he is sill alive. After that, he's never seen again. This puts Coulsen and May as her parental figures again.
Then we have Mac as the big brother aspect with Jemma and Fitz as possible cousins or siblings. It's a whole rollercoaster of emotions.
To me may is also the mom of the team to Jemma and Fitz and Coulsons the dad to them as well but May and Coulson knew Fitz and Simmons were capable of solving problems and handling things themselves whereas Daisy needed guidance and a loving support system.

This is just amazing. So much more emotional than I was expecting. Absolutely loved how you weaved the clips together to create such a beautiful story. I have often thought that we as fans are too quick to turn everything into a found family, but these 3 meet any definition of that. I have not seen anyone do a better job of presenting their dynamic as the beautiful relationship that it is. And for me, these 3 were always the heart of the show and really thought the show suffered when there was less of it in the last 2 seasons.

Honestly, something i appreciate, is that they're all so human. They make mistakes. Coulson pushed Daisy too hard sometimes, but he loved her so much and in the end was so proud of her 😭
It just feels cliche at this point where the student learns they have it in them the whole time, and while Daisy is incredibly strong, i'm glad they didnt make her director. Coulson had to realize that as much as they love each other, he and Daisy aren't the same. Not everyone is made to lead. Daisy's an inspiration, a great small team lead, but she's not Coulson and that's ok! I dunno, i feel like i'm rambling now, it's just somrthing i was realizing watching the video.
