Fury got the original 6 as avengers for the Avengers Initiative. But after that they kinda abandoned shield and just did it together. And I don't think THEY want mythical powered beings. They are powerful enough
At the end of season 2, they decide to create another team of superhumans called the "Secret Warriors." Also, in Season 5, the villain's evil plan is "Make myself super powerful, and then join the Avengers and murder Thanos." Lastly, I think there are lots of little pokes at SHIELD in the Marvel films. For example, Coulson built the helicarrier from AOU.
I love so much the character development Daisy/Skye/Quake has had throughout the years. I just wish they would put her in the MCU movies even if it was just for a minor role.
I want to see her develop her sensory skills. Cuz distinguishing the difference vibrations between people and objects will be a tremendous asset to her.
She did that serveral times. In season 3 trying to emulate the frequencies to open the monolith (which was rather "easy" because the type of frequency was so strong it almost killed her) and once again in season 6 while she is tapping in to the frequencies of the spicified knife using to kill all those alien birds (this time much more focus and work)
I know, I always thought that. Like if a say particularly heavy person comes up behind, making no sound, but then makes the floor shake, I believe she would be able to feel it like instantly. Not even if it was a heavy person, really just anyone. And since in season two when she’s with Jiyang in the mountains, we learn that she can hear the vibrations then amplify it. Which was then why the vibrational frequency the monolith needed to be at was deafening to her. Which makes me wonder if she was in a plane or something, and they experience turbulence, how loud would that be for her? Since the whole plane is shaking. Same goes for an earthquake.
I'm sorta laughing at the comments saying they ruined her powers after season 2. She can basically do Force jumps from Star Wars and Force pushes with her mastered control. Plus, she's like Black Canary in the fact that she uses her powers when needed (instead of recklessly all the time in Season 2) in good balance with her close combat skills. For the bone breaking without gloves bit, it's actually somewhat of a reasonable physical development for an Inhuman like her, especially to have that kind of power long term (Gordon was completely blind and helpless as a child until he developed a psychic sense for people/his surroundings, for example) If you hold a really powerful electronic vibrating massager in your hands, your own hands vibrate alongside the vibration it outputs. Her gloves initially protected her hands from the vibrational force she generates, which only affected her often in Season 2 since her body was still adjusting
I agree, I think that people who said that they "ruined" her powers after s2 means that in s2 she was using her powers on bigger scale (like the scene in the forest) but since she can control them she is always holding back because of that she is mostly using powers to push something or someone
bifa Plus the main reason she holds back on greater vibrational pushes in combat now is so she doesn't wreck buildings, cause disasters, or injure allies lol
I agree on the first part, that she learned to control her powers and use them with pinpoint accuracy. But regarding the self-harm inflicted by the vibrational waves, current explanations really don't make sense. For starters, marvel wiki says she's IMMUNE to the effects of the vibrations; she also produced stronger waves with less self-harm (ie. the leveled forest) in s2 than in the following seasons, and it really doesn't make sense. My opinion is that the basic wave she produces is much stronger than necessary, most of the time. The harm inflicted to her body comes from trying to reduce that much power in a unhealthy way. Think of her arms as a bottleneck, and her power as flowing water: if the water flow is too strong, the neck of the bottle wouldn't be able to hold the pressure and break. If she had more training in the afterlife, she wold probably learn to control her power at its source, thus producing waves that carry the littlest energy in them and can be released without even be noticed.
@@muhammadrizaldhybakri5606 they are, just like the other guy said, cuz they keep on talking about avengers, and yea nick fury made an appearance in 2nd or 3rd episode.. so yup, and the ending of aos felt like some continuation, maybe they will join somehow wanda and dr.strange?
Yeah, it's scary. When you think about it... She was using her powers without hands when she didn't know how to cotrol them so using hands is her wat to have better control over them. All tho a few times later she used her powers without hands too, like breaking cocoon in s4, landing with Talbot in s5, breaking Kasius' device in s5.
Chloe Bennet did an amazing job as DaisyJohnson.. ❤ .. one of the strongest Marvel characters..i hope they will bring her back and the rest of AGENTS OF SHIELD..for me its the best Marvel series..
So shes like tarra from teen titans. Scared girl who never asked for theses poweres cant control them hurts the poeople she loves feels like she doesnt belong/ or deserve anything good.
I agree with you about Skye being an amazing character but I fail to see why you think that her friends don't deserve her, they have made mistakes just like everyone else in the show but they care about her more than her own biological parents truly cared about her (well, Skye's father actually cared deep about her but he was mentally unstable due to the rage and sadness that consumed him throughly). Coulson was like the father Skye never had and while she doesn't always agree with Jemma, Fitz, Mack or Yo-Yo, they have shown that if Skye is in danger, they would do anything to save her, no matter the consequences and Melinda May has been like the mother Skye never had (because while Jiaying loved Skye, she was evil and in the end, she tried to absorb her own daughter's life to increment her power level). I don't really understand why you think that her friends don't deserve to have her in thwer team
@@o98z This isn't about strength or who can destroy things faster and cause more impact while doing it. This is about working as part of a team, it's pretty clear that for Daisy, SHIELD is more than just an agency with top secret information that not even the US Government has, Daisy sees SHIELD as the family she never had and I think that's the part you clearly didn't get
She blasts things. So much potential and she just fucking blasts things. She could turn things into bomb, set fire, freeze, control the canvas of the universe, even hulk wouldnt be strong enough to defeat her..power is wasted on dummies.
Not really that if she losses control she can destroy the earth like when they went to the future or when she uses the powers like a projectile she shatters her bones
Inhumans, and their powers (genetically altered and gifted index individuals included): Daisy Johnson (quake): geokinesis and can produce powerful vibrations from her hands. Scorch (index): pyrokinesis Shane Henson (inhuman): levitation Lori Henson: pyrokinesis (not enough evidence to confirm.) David angar (index): can produce a Sonic scream powerful enough to send who and whatever hears it into a catatonic coma. Absorbing man (genetically altered): can transform the molecules of his body by absorbing any material he touches. Gordon: can teleport to any location in the globe. Joey guitierrez: can melt and reshape metal objects. Elena Rodriguez: superspeed but returns to the same spot she started from after a single beat of her heart. Dwight Frye: can locate inhumans. Lucio: can induce paralysis via eye contact (like Medusa only he's male and inhuman). Hive: can manipulate the weather as well as possess corpses. Hellfire: explosive touch. Guierra: telekenisis Flint: Earth manipulation Ben: telepathy Graviton: can manipulate gravity by either increasing or decreasing it. Lincoln Campbell: can generate electromagnetic energy from the cells of his body. Jeffrey Mace aka Patriot: superhuman strength. Ben: can telepathically red the minds of other people as well projecting his voice to the minds of other people. Raina: clairvoyance
You forgot Abby from Season 5, who can manipulate her body's cellular density to make herself harder than steel, and lighter than a feather to where she can phase through objects and people.
5:52 If she can obliterate a fully grown tree with a shockwave like that, the human bodies would shatter into pieces when hit closely behind her. There is no way they would survive that.
Lol at people using the word shallow, as if they never noticed someone or watched anything based off of physical attraction. This isn't called being shallow. It's called being a normal human being.
I just noticed that she hasn't been using her powers like she did at 6:28 with the mountain thing where it doesn't come out in those wave like things and instead it appeared more like telekinesis. (She just put her hand up and the mountain moved without anything coming out of her hand)
I think that it just depends on how strong and precize are her vibrations. For most of the time in season 2, in episode 3x17 when she is holding Fitz or episode 4x01 when she is holding Robbie you can't see vibrations because she is using her powers with minimum force but when she is using them to do something bigger like push plane or cast people they are more visible.
2nd and 3rd incident of her powers literally when prue from charmed had a power that Phoebe pulled off...prue had panic attacks and she locked her self on the basement so she cant hurt anyone....you know...the power that you can sense what other people senses and hear their thoughts too? And with that power Phoebe could send bullets fireballs etc back to the enemy?
It seems like with each season her powers get weaker and weaker. Like s2 she was literally moving mountains, destroying buildings, tossing tanks, and now all she does with it is quack badguys against walls to knock them out
It’s because marvel doesn’t want her to be too overpowered, even though she can still do that stuff, marvel just isn’t showing how powerful she is. If you take into account that her ability is manipulating vibrations (which are the reasons for heat and all that stuff) she could literally freeze water, or turn it into gas. She is an absolute powerhouse but marvel doesn’t want her to be that powerful
@@kamasp2272 ok but i dont really care that she could theoretically freeze water or change gasea and stuff, which i do agree would make her too op. Im just talking about the fact that she doesnt even do the stuff she used to do. Honestly with all her trauma id kind of like it if she sometimes still quaked when she had nightmares. Or how before her powers were so destructive and powerful she had to wear arm braces or else the frequency of her quaks would shake her bones and now she suddenly doesnt need them. Idk it just kind of sucks
Are the gloves binding her real power? Because in the forest, she just flips her hand slightly and an enormeous shock wave shatters the trees whereas in the end she angrily pushes people one after another with a visibly smaller wave. It seems like if she takes the gloves off, she is just like Prue Halliwell in her future form: A single (accidental) hand flip and she does massive damage.
Kinda yes, at least in the comics but I'm not sure if it's case with the show. In the comics it was explained in kinda similar way as with Wonder Women and her bracelets. Both Quake's gauntlets and Wonder Woman's brancelets are taking excess of powers are giving them bigger control. In the hospital's scene (the scene at the end) she was holding back to not destroy hospital and not kill innocent people, all tho writers of the show kinda weakened her powers with time, when Daisy discovered her powers was doing crazy things with them because she didn't know how to control them. Prue's powers and Daisy's powers are different, Prue had telekinesis, while Daisy has vibration manipulation, all tho with time Daisy learned how to push objects/people without hurting them so it's kinda telekinesis but she can't for example bring objects to yourself.
If she uses her power in a controlled way in the show, the excess energy that she's not using is directed inwards and could lead to her shattering the bones in her arms (if I understand correctly). The gloves protect her from that side-effect in some super-science way.
She is only shattering her bones when she is bad mental state, then everything hurts her like using powers, punching people or even using arms and hands.
the way she could've flattened thanos' army so easily but mcu said nope lets have agents of shield conveniently time travel into to future so theres an excuse to say they couldnt have appeared lmfao
Skye was only her temporary which she used because she didn't know her what's her real name and she didn't like the name which they gave her at the orphanage. Those scenes are mostly from season 2 when in the middle she found out about her past and real name.
Suck? Black bolt can shatter solar systems with one word medusa can shatter emma frost diamond form and over power characters like the hulk WITH HER HAIR
**SPOILERS!!! SEASONS 1, 2 & 5 FINALE SPOILERS!** now the question is... how will the serum change Daisy? she now has some measure of her moms DNA/healing in her... plus a version of the super-soldier serum, via centipede. so will she now be more like her comic book counterpart? I'd very much like to see her use her abilities with more precision! her mothers dna may give her some measure of "immunity" to the vibrations she causes. (passive healing, allowing her brief moments where she can use her abilities safely without the gauntlets). i recall in season 1 finale, they said in a few days, the serum would run out without regular injections... but then again, it is entirely possible that she will retain the boost, as Peterson has. but with the added perk of her mothers healing DNA. Not to mention, some level of super-strength! likely roughly Cap level physical strength/speed. she's now surpassed Hulks level... as she would be able to 'defeat' him by launching him into space like she did Graviton. perhaps closer to Thor's Infinity War level. would be interesting to compare the 2... but we don't know her limits, nor his just yet. honestly... she'll likely be powered down a bit during season 6... well, depending on what they are up against... but she'll need to be powered down eventually. as most writers don't like writing for very powerful characters, especially when they are surrounded by those without, or far less power.
SPOILERS I think that whatever happened to Daisy because of that serum it "transformed" into Daisy as we know from the comics (in powers sense). About powers... - In the show so far she has only her vibration manipulation power, until this finale this power was more powerful in the comics but now it looks like it's on the same level. - Her other power in the comics is ability of psi-shield, they didn't explain how she got that power in the comics but they kinda teased that on the show when in season 3 finale Hive couldn't control her because Lash made her "impervious". I'm not sure if this really worked because it wasn't mentioned on the show since then. They can also expand psi-shield as part of her vibration-manipulation power (you know, it's bouncing attacks not only in physical sense but also in mental sense). - And in the comics there is also a fact that Daisy is a little faster, stronger and more durable than normal humans. Until now on the show in therms of this she was like a human so thanks to Centipede serum now she is above. - About healing factor. She doesn't has this power in the comics so I doubt that she will have it on the show. It could also create other problem with defeating her by potential future villain, I mean she has already Omega Level powers (which are more offensive than defensing powers) so adding to this something like healing factor or indestructible skin would create GIANT problem for writers to create future villains. I also think that there could be in season 6 arc when her powers are taking control over her. I mean something in Wanda Maximoff (House of M) or Jean Grey (Phoenix Saga) style. Too much power is always consuming their owner, even if their owner is good person. Or maybe next villain would be Daisy from alternative reality, where for example she stayed with her parents and because of Jiaying she became evil, or where Coulson didn't found her so Hydra recruited her and programmed as their weapon. At this point only those two villains scenario would make any sense for me. I can't see other "worthy" villain for her at this point. Honestly I would prefer to see that than another season when they are de-powering her.
bifa If she was a villain the avengers would have to go after her. I would love it if she was a loki type villain so she’s bad at first and then she’s good.
I started watching halfway through season 3. Now that I see this, why do I feel like she has been weakened over the seasons, rather than the other way round?
yeah, they have the same problem with her in the comics, she was practically invincible for this reason she often disappeared, seriously for me if someone can take down Wolverine or Magneto in two seconds is invincible
she hasn't weakened she just controls it because otherwise she could destroy and hurt people. Without meaning to she took down a forest and obviously she doesn't want to make a earthquake because she would take down the whole city, or worse.. so she has to hold back so not everything is destroyed and people get hurt or killed.
"eye patchy guy" you mean Samuel mothafuckin Jackson?! But yeah avengers left shield so don't see them anymore. Besides shields undercover after winter soldier so they don't know bout them
I liked "Sky" better than "Daisy" bcs it's like a goody-too-shoes name, and she isn't one. She a badbutt Shield agent. ( I don't cuss, but you get the point) But Daisy is still a pretty name
Not in that case. I mean she is always holding back, that's the thing with her powers. But when she was in the hospital she only used her powers on small scale because on bigger scale it could destroy the building and kill many people. Obviously that wasn't the goal so she used as much power as she could to not destroy anything. They kinda weakened her powers over seasons but here it has completely sense.
Yes and no lash is more durable and can handle the force of her vibrations all she needed to do was push harder and he would have been flying like superman

Which makes me wonder if she was in a plane or something, and they experience turbulence, how loud would that be for her? Since the whole plane is shaking. Same goes for an earthquake.
Echolocation, would kinda be a cool ability to display too.
She rocks!
Why has nobody noticed this comment yet? 😂
Was that a pun?
Technically she quakes
Pun intended?
100%
No her gloves absorb it

Sky is amazing, and her *team/friends* never deserved her.
Agreed

Inhumans, and their powers (genetically altered and gifted index individuals included):
Daisy Johnson (quake): geokinesis and can produce powerful vibrations from her hands.
Scorch (index): pyrokinesis
Shane Henson (inhuman): levitation
Lori Henson: pyrokinesis (not enough evidence to confirm.)
David angar (index): can produce a Sonic scream powerful enough to send who and whatever hears it into a catatonic coma.
Guierra: telekenisis
Flint: Earth manipulation
Ben: telepathy
Graviton: can manipulate gravity by either increasing or decreasing it.
So many of these are not Inhumans. For example, Carl Creel was experimented on in the same way as Wanda and Pietro, with Loki's Sceptre.

I just noticed that she hasn't been using her powers like she did at 6:28 with the mountain thing where it doesn't come out in those wave like things and instead it appeared more like telekinesis. (She just put her hand up and the mountain moved without anything coming out of her hand)
Lmao the mountain probably used up the rest of the CGI budget for that episode😂😂
@@carsonchiem145 XD Probably, wouldn't be surprised
I think that it just depends on how strong and precize are her vibrations. For most of the time in season 2, in episode 3x17 when she is holding Fitz or episode 4x01 when she is holding Robbie you can't see vibrations because she is using her powers with minimum force but when she is using them to do something bigger like push plane or cast people they are more visible.
@@bifa5414 ah, that makes sense.
Basically her powers has a mind of their own lol
this video left me shaking(pun intended😂)
She has more control over it, so she tries not to use unnecessary force.
watch 7x13 😉 she was just controlling her urges and being professional as an agent 💖💖
Seems like you're confusing weakness with self-control. Just because she can destroy buildings and mountains doesn't she HAS to.
At 5:28 she was like "bitch you thought"
the best scene was like when she becomes an inhuman.. that scene felt good and sad
No the gloves absorb the vibrations she holds in so they dont hurt her
the way she could've flattened thanos' army so easily but mcu said nope lets have agents of shield conveniently time travel into to future so theres an excuse to say they couldnt have appeared lmfao
It says daisy but shows Skye, I’m confused
Skye found out in season 2 that her real name was Daisy
Skye was only her temporary which she used because she didn't know her what's her real name and she didn't like the name which they gave her at the orphanage. Those scenes are mostly from season 2 when in the middle she found out about her past and real name.

**SPOILERS!!! SEASONS 1, 2 & 5 FINALE SPOILERS!**
now the question is... how will the serum change Daisy? she now has some measure of her moms DNA/healing in her... plus a version of the super-soldier serum, via centipede.
so will she now be more like her comic book counterpart?
SPOILERS
I think that whatever happened to Daisy because of that serum it "transformed" into Daisy as we know from the comics (in powers sense).
Unique and cool at the same time
I started watching halfway through season 3. Now that I see this, why do I feel like she has been weakened over the seasons, rather than the other way round?
Jin YuanZhe I think that the producers found her weakness to not make her invencible (at least seem). Maybe to make her more human
If she was super powerful, there would be no villian who could face her or even defeat her
Jin YuanZhe she was like this in season 2 because half the time she couldn't control her powers. now she can
yeah, they have the same problem with her in the comics, she was practically invincible for this reason she often disappeared, seriously for me if someone can take down Wolverine or Magneto in two seconds is invincible
she hasn't weakened she just controls it because otherwise she could destroy and hurt people. Without meaning to she took down a forest and obviously she doesn't want to make a earthquake because she would take down the whole city, or worse.. so she has to hold back so not everything is destroyed and people get hurt or killed.

Compare 5:24 to 9:05 ... is that some artificial under-powering of her for the script or is there a reason?
Vanguard probably didn’t want to destroy the hospital. If she did that she would most likely destroy the building and anyone inside.
