  • IPD's Cameron Daline takes a moment and covers the common symptoms regarding rear cam seal failures. The rear cam seal recently failed on Cameron's 1998 S70. After seeing what a mess it made, Cameron wanted to show our fans how simple this can be for the average "do-it-yourself" mechanics. Watch as Cameron removes and replaces the rear cam seal!

HAH, this just happened to me. Traced it down to the exhaust cam pos sensor. Fixed it with some Black RTV on the sensor housing. NOW I find the video! I suppose I should take it all back apart and actually fix the seal.

Great Vid, very informative and right now it applies to my S40!, so kudos for that alone, But if I may? You might want to ease up on the Java a bit because man you talk like a crack addict during a manic episode! Slow down, take a breath and give us the opportunity to try and understand what your trying to confer. VEGA skills are 95% of the information process and you have mastered three of the four. but thanks again, you helped a bunch, chow.....
