Buckethead is not human. He was a robotic quality in his technical playing, but at the same time, has so much feel, heart and passion in his music. A real genius/prodigy
Thanks for doing this, Ruben! I just saw him live New Years Eve about 10 back from the stage and he was incredible as always. He's 6 ft 6 inches tall and over 7ft with the bucket so even with someone standing in front of you, you can see him well. Just learned that he has heart problems so hopefully he will be well for a long time. The club had red and white balloons that came down at midnight (colors matching his KFC bucket...LOL). BTW, instead of pre-recorded backup music that he sometimes uses, he had a bassist and the drummer from Primus with him. Great experience to be there!
BTW here's a pretty good sound quality video from that concert on New Year's Eve that showcases a variety of styles ruclips.net/video/5I6G9I5zGAk/видео.html
This is the reaction I would expect.. "Out of this world, nothing to add more..".. WE all had the same reaction first time.. and what a journey was ahead of us! Suddenly watched this performance on youtube back in 2008, I knew nothing about Buckethead, but I rarely listen to other musicians since then...
Great song! When i want listening a "LIVE" version of this MasterPiece i always clic on the "Buckethead Live "Nottingham Lace" 2006 at the Mishakawa Amphitheater. It's for me, the best live version for the sound and image quality. The studio version is awesome to.
911 911 Agreed, been waiting for this one, only problem is this is his best performance. Hard to top, but That's a great one! For mom live next! That one is insane!
Haven't checked your channel out yet but I'm assuming you play guitar by your reactions. I watch your soothsayer reactions and new you had to be a player
Listen to Yngwie Malmsteen - Far Beyond The Sun HD. One of the first in the neoclassical players. Can get boring after listening too much in my opinion, but fun in smaller doses :)
Buckethead is a f**king legend, so glad to see you. Keep dicovering more about this guitarist. Next video please try with: Between the Buried and Me: Disease, Injury, Madness
Picka ny song from Buckethead - you always, always find something special in them them. He is not human, he is a shining star. Have a look at Coaster Coat or Crane or Listen to the Whisper
IN THE NEAR PAST ? SOMEONE RIFFING TO A BACKING TRACK WOULDNT HAVE BEEN BOOED OFF STAGE / 30 YEARS OF RIFFING AND HE REPEATS HIS SELF / HIS GREAT FANS ALL PIRATED HIS SONGS , ALBUMS , VIDEO AND ACTUALLY RIPPED HIM OFF BIGTIME / HE IS WORTH 5 MILLION ? FOR 30 YEARS OF PLAYING ? ANGUS YOUNG WORTH 400 MILLION FOR 50 YEARS OF PLAYING
Am I the only one that thinks this version is overrated? Guitar's out of tune, sound quality's awful and it's nothing close to the studio version (not even the memorable bits). Pleaseee listen to the original.
for me it is one of his most epic performances maybe you are kinda right but the energy that night was incredible and you can tell just watching the video
I just don't get it.. Yeah, he's technically spiderman, but the riffs are nothing special, he doesn't have any soul .. I'm a former live audio engineer that has probably mixed a 1000 shows, even those in the r&r hall of fame, grammy winners... I'd be at the bar getting a drink during this.
Michał Rękosiewicz Buckethead is much more prolific and experimental than Gilbert. If you call him borin you probably havent listened to much of his stuff(keep in mind his retarded album count)
"What a wonderful man." Indeed. Great reaction.
Buckethead is not human. He was a robotic quality in his technical playing, but at the same time, has so much feel, heart and passion in his music. A real genius/prodigy

Heard this 9000 times and will do do more 9000+ times till I die
One of the few reaction videos where you can tell the guy is actually getting into the music and not just talking the whole time like every other one
A loss for words was my exact reaction to seeing this video many years ago. Bucket is a machine. The guy is a true virtuoso.
You need to look up his back story. He is an amazing man, inside and out. He recently had a health scare also. :-/
Seen him live twice! You must see Buckethead live to get the total vibe of this genius! 🤘🏻🎸🎸
That was the first Buckethead performance I ever saw, and I was as impressed by it this time as I was the first time.
Amazingly brilliant and jam packed full of emotion

Yngwie Malmsteen definitely was a game-changer those first three albums are unbelievable.
Buckethead is a f**king legend, so glad to see you. Keep dicovering more about this guitarist.

You said enough with your facial expression when you was taking off the ear phones
Yeah, we should make a statue
Ghosts of Broken Eggs
Maybe make a reaction video to Steven Wilsons "Home Invasion/Regret #9"
It has one of the best keyboard solos I have heard in a long time
Steve Vai, Whispering a Prayer
Colma is some of his finest work. Along with Electric Tears. Emotionally untouchable.
Is it just me or whenever i hear him playing a full step or 1 and a half bend it seems a girl is screaming
Picka ny song from Buckethead - you always, always find something special in them them. He is not human, he is a shining star. Have a look at Coaster Coat or Crane or Listen to the Whisper
hey try to react to Peste Noire - Dans ma nuit video clip ! ;)

Buckethead for me is a cheap copy of Paul Gilbert... But much more boring.
Michał Rękosiewicz Buckethead is much more prolific and experimental than Gilbert. If you call him borin you probably havent listened to much of his stuff(keep in mind his retarded album count)
Gilbert good but not really in the same league as big b you know that right ??????????
Lol you came to a buckethead video to talk bad about him. That's like walking into the yankee stadium and saying the Mets are better
❤
