Lumia 925 is the most Beautiful smartphone design ever. It's both simple concept but complex organic curves that are perfectly proportioned. The camera bump is the Design Feature.
@@Neojhun I remember a friend of mine had the 925 some years ago and I loved it's design to the near point of buying myself one,I wish there was a phone today looking as good as that,it would mean an instant buy from me.

Unfortunately, Japan is allergic to value oriented products in general. Everything costs a premium over there, likely due to the severe amount of importing that an island nation starved of natural resources has to do.
Well...having options like poco 3x pro for less, maybe for 150 in that form factor considering the atrocious camera u could say it's decent, but not for 300
This phone reminds me of the old Xperia phones. Beautiful design, beautiful and sensible widgets, apps and system UI, notification light, the curved back, the ergonomic fingerprint sensor placement, small form factor, cool ringtones, and a bit overpriced. I might just be the target demographic.
1s look pretty much the same as Zs tho, flat slab with glass/sometimes metal, back. which was literally the thing that made them beautiful and diffrent from all others that had curved plastic at that time. curved plastics were even before that but that was way before fingerprint sensors were a thing so what the fuck are you talking about
@lukahmad5683 I loved it for the time I had it, unfortunately I love changing phones and a too good to miss deal on a flip 5 won me over. Looking back the main things I miss about the phone was the weight and the in pocket feel.
Pretty interesting design and I love the smaller form factor but at that price no way If it only costs half of what they are asking I would actually consider it
I was thinking it was a $300 phone and when he said the price I almost choked. Before that, I was thinking it would not be bad to have this as a burner phone for camping and hiking excursions since it looks rugged and comfortable, but when I saw the battery life and the giant hole punch, I then thought I wouldn't own it for $300.
Funny enough that this phone is being roasted so hard in Japan for the exact reason. The company had temporarily suspend orders. Even with carrier plan it's still hella expensive.
This is what I love so much about Android. It allows so many companies to create these wild unique devices and yet they get the support of through millions of App developers making Software for them.
When a toaster company makes a phone , it can be used as a phone or a toaster both!!! You can make breakfast wherever you go, on the fly!!! But toasters need huge batteries!!!

Of course a Prius gets better mpg than a Rolls Royce, but it’s the hand crafted art that creates its value. The BALMUDA phone would be remembered, but not the other stuff out there today.
I wish phones were smaller again. My Sony Xperia Z5 compact recently broke and I got the Xperia 10 IV, which is just ridiculously long. Could easily be 1 1/2 inches shorter and be much more comfortable to use.
For real, I loved my Moto X devices (had one of each generation). They felt, well, good in my hands. Wow that thing is the perfect homage to 2012 - early 2016 era. I hope LG take up this design if they want to come back or some players like BBK brands can do wonders with this form factor and style. What a missed opportunity for an open goal in the mid range.
The first gen Moto G was the first Android I fell in love with and loved every second of using it. To this day, no other phone has managed to match the excitement, comfort, and feel it provided to me, and this phone here mirrors it so well. I really hope this here won't be a one-off thing.
My mom's first phone was the Moto G1 and my memories of it was that it was pretty slow, even for its time. I eventually sold it to an e-boy, which I kinda regret doing (partially because he was an eboy).

Great job Michael! Small phones need to keep coming back. Your Jelly phone review was great too, but a little too small, this one seems like it hits the sweet spot.
I must admit, I do hate modern mainstream phones, so I love it when a company does something different. However, that seems insanely expensive when the specs are largely the same as my unihertz Jelly 2, which was less than a third of the price!!
I had a Galaxy S3 Mini, and I absolutely loved it, still quite possibly my favourite of all the phones I've had. I was gutted when it died, and until recently, still desperately wanted a decent spec but small handset.
I mean, I don't see why not. There are plenty of bare-bones reference designs that you can buy if you want and can, and build a shell and software around. Especially for mid-range devices. And a toaster/home appliance company is going to know about design, no?
@@tams805 Well yeah, it was just kinda of the fact that those seem like such different markets it seems ridiculous. So it was the disbeleif. Months later, here I am hearing about a toaster company that made a phone 😄. More power to them

Seems very similar to their toaster oven: over priced, over promises, under delivers. Conspicuous Consumption at its finest... or worst, I suppose.
I really miss when Android phones used to look like this. This device has such a soft, quality character to it, making it look more warm and inviting than the glass slabs we have today. It's a big shame that this device has such poor internals, I would've honestly considered picking one up if it was at least competitive in the mid-range smartphone market, let alone in its high price range.
Your videos are so great you even make the sponsors seem great. I usually skip the sponsorship but your presentation is so great i watched it anyways. Thanks for your honest review as always !!!!
Hey Michael, I started following you from your days at Phone Arena with Jaime and have always followed you ever since, thank you for starting the phones were fun series so awesome. Thank you for still giving us some of the best unique, and we'll written reviews ever.
Watching on balmuda phone that cost me less then 100 dollars as a phone only imported device. Why I bought it? It is beautiful and does the job as a second phone. I have both whatsapps as mirroring and carrying it around instead of a large pro max device.
I also bought it from a local seller in my country for about 95usd imported from Japan. Mine drains battery easily and apps crash frequently and the speaker is very low. I wouldn't recommend it. There is a reason why the Japanese are getting rid of it for the 3rd world market.
The 2013 Moto X is still one of my favorites. It's one of the few phones I had an actual attachment to. But, every Android phone now does what it did. But back in 2013, it was so different, and with unique features that were truly useful. I miss it.
I love it. At a time when even budget phones are glass all round, a more industrial plastic design with a lip to sink the screen in is a godsend. It's ironic that you have to go that high on the price to finally get something plastic.

How did they justified the price tag? Is there a "mini warp positron engine" included to travel freely in time and space?
As you went into the sponsor message my thought was "it's mid except for price" and then you said exactly that.
Finally, find a phone that suits my grandmother
If this phone were reasonably priced and US compatible, I'd be all over it.
Very innovative. Very interesting design. I wish some days it will available in India. Thanks for your video 🙏
MrMobile still unboxing phone as usual while other phone RUclipsrs already stray far away from phone review. Kudos to you.
I really liked the droid looking back of the phone. The bezels of the front are symmetrical enough to stand it out of the crowd.
I saw that curved back and was taken back to my Galaxy Nexus that had a slightly curved form factor. I really loved that phone.
It's ironic that you have to go that high on the price to finally get something plastic.
them: was this photo taken on a potato?
balmuda: no, a toaster.
Let us say they do sell it for $300-$500 as a midrange phone. P33noise would just ask “can it play thiss..can it play that?
I have so much respect for this phone! I wish more phones were like this one. What the hell happened to phones, man!
