The trading with gym leaders to get their pokemon and then it saying something like "Iono's Magnemite" is definitely a callback to their pokemon cards, like Lt. Surge's Raichu, and i absolutely love that

@@TheFlatPancakeTheory I don't think Gamefreak would leave the revenue a BW remake would generate on the table.
I like that there are quests to find the legendaries, just like in Legends: Arceus. That was one of my favorite features from that game!
PLA itself is severely undervalued… I wish Gamefreak put so much more effort into it
Hot take: the sync up feature will prob amount to nothing in this game other than cutesy interactions (which is fine), HOWEVER, this could mean that in a future game for boss battles we get a more hands on approach to combat against things like nobles/totems/alphas/titans, which would be amazing to see.
This feature alone has a LOT of potential and absolutely needs to be further explored.
Maybe them experimenting with this now opens up the gate for a more hands-on Pokemon game where you control your Pokemon in a battle more akin to how the anime handles things.
@@ARDIZsqmy perfect pokemon game was always an open world with the fighting mechanics of pokken. Stretch I know.

I remember years ago when I used to play Roblox, there would be games there you would be the Pokémon and could run around and fight other players. I guess like a more open world version of pokken if you could imagine. I always wanted something similar where you have to control your Pokémon in battle that way instead of being the trainer. Or at least for the more important battles I guess. Battles would be much more fun that way.
i mean, if the mode lets us engage in the autobattles, this will be incredibly helpful for Outbreak hunting
I hope that the legendary Pokémon get their music back when we encounter them 😭😭
This trailer just made me way more hyped for the DLC and to see that it's basically adding some things to the other areas is awesome.
very excited for so much in this DLC! Free-flying for Koraidon/Miraidon, starters and Legendaries (even though I have plenty already), what I hear is going to be a very battle-focused expansion. Teal Mask was fun but it definitely felt like the Isle of Armor where there wasn't too much for endgame-esque activities. This definitely feels like a Crown Tundra, and that really elevated Sw/Sh to their best selves. This definitely gives me the same feeling I had waking up early to explore Paldea on release day and discovering so many things for myself. But I absolutely love your content outlining everything that goes on in these games! I just want to try my hand at it first and be awed 😁😁

I'm really looking forward to the double battles! It's been too long since we've had that. The free flying looks cool too, and I hope it isn't as restricted as the gliding height drop off.
The idea of legendaries getting to spawn on the overworld is way better than the last few expansions with legendaries. I do hope they can be shiny hunted too!
I loved the double battles with the Ghost gym leader. Gave me a reason the use the Dondozo/Tatsugiri feature.
Perhaps the trading with gym leaders is part of a battle facility, like that one facility in a past gen where you could exchange a pokemon with one from the opponent you just defeated.
Would be so good if the legendaries arent shiny locked. I get myself ready for some long long soft reset hunts 💥
It's been revealed that none of the legendary pokemon in the dlc are shiny locked in this game! I'm not sure how soft resets will work since you can tell when a pokemon is shiny through the overworld, but I'm gonna hunt spectrier.

We have actually seen the Synchro Machine before. 10 years ago, there was an Indie game called Pokemon: Generations, where you would throw out and control your pokemon, running around the environment and battling wild pokemon. The devs got a CAD from Nintendo however and were forced to abandon it. Now about a decade later, we see their idea in a mainstream pokemon game. 🤔

I downloaded it onto my laptop when I was in my teens, I remember being amazed at being able control the pokemon and seeing a 3d game (outside of spinoff games like battle revolution, snap, pokepark, pokedex 3d etc.)
TBH, I've never got why nintendo close down fan made games rather than hire them because clearly they have the passion to make it, and the games would be far better with more passionate people who care about the quality. More development time would be great too :/
@@amziedragon6619 It was such an interesting indie game. Wish we could have seen more, but hopefully they might be trying to use this feature in upcoming games.

Worthwhile gifts and I’m excited for the mysteries of Paldea to wrap up. I have story hopes but I digress. This story really grabbed me this Gen. Lots of twists in my opinion.
The story got much better... the gameplay got better... the performance did not.

Considering the leaks and what they showed here, the Kalos trio probably aren't coming back, which is a shame since I really wanted Xerneas to come back.

I am so looking forward to the DLC. Not I only do I get to catch and use Pokèmon that I have not seen since childhood, but some new variations as well. It's great timing as well as this DLC is coming out right when I will be taking Christmas break from nursing school, making it a GREAT Christmas present. Lol
Gotta say, lovin’ the background! Love the updates to the office! Also, very excited for legendary encounters to come back. Hopefully they all will be available to catch after a few objectives.

Static encounters were not shinyblock in BDSP so all past legendaries may not be shiny lock. That's my guess we wait and see.

We got several interesting things. The Synchro thing is cool. We got to see Terapagos use its signature move, I think. Also got a hint of either a 3rd form for Terapagos or the 19th Tera type. Maybe both. And something that seems like it COULD maybe be a new battle form for the box legends.
The trailer included a unique throwing animation. Cool in my eyes.
I love this trailer so much! The details of Zekrom, Reshiram, and Kyruem as the final three old legendaries in the trailer, the details of below what we have explored in Area Zero, the red eyes given to Miraidon/Koraidon showing that something happens to them later in the story (my guess is that Kieran has something to do with it..), the telekinetic control over our Pokémon we gain, the proof that flying is now going to be permanent after the flying trail at some point as it is shown when the main character (Florian was his name I think) is flying to the Great Crater with Koraidon (I think..) and just the whole soundtrack and vibes the game is giving me is giving me chills and makes me wanna cry cuz I have no one to talk about this with on a passionate level and just the fact that it’s coming out in 6 days.. AHHHHHH I’M SO EXCITEDDDDDD!!!! ❤❤❤

I'm excited to get Kubfu again. I forgot to register him on my Pokemon home Pokedex, and it's just been a blank spot since the SW/SH DLC
Been playing slowly through The Teal Mask, cause I got distracted by shiny hunting 😅 but I can’t wait to play Indigo Disk! It looks like it’ll be a longer story and have a lot of fun opportunities to encounter legendary Pokémon!

Interesting fact about the returning legends. Nowhere on the video or the website does it say anything along the lines of “some legendaries can only be encountered in one game” or “not all legendaries are available in one game” meaning there’s a chance none of them are version exclusive

The “synchro machine” seems like a good base to work off of to make the Johto competitions (forget what they’re called) with Apricorn blender

I like how the Tao trio are the only legendaries showcased in full screen during the legendary roll call. A neat little hint to gen V remakes being next on the block!

First time I’ve been actively anticipating the release of something for a while now, very excited about all of it. Noticed that we can learn different ways to throw our pokeballs too!
Can’t wait. Puting Kubfu into HOME immediately after I catch it so I can at least register it (forgot to in SwSh)
After transferring all my Pokémon to Home, I purposefully deleted the save data for both my copies of Pokémon ScarVi because I want to experience the game START. TO FINISH.
I wanted to see what it would be like to start the game anew. Say what you will about the franchise, but anything new from Pokémon will always have me excited. Excited about the potential, excited about a new region, excited about new Pokémon and old friends returning. And as long as they can still elicit that feeling from me...they're doing something right.
Although... pretty sure the Indigo Disk is like Crown Tundra, being exclusively a post-game story and content.

@@utlukka950 oh it is. So essentially, my goal is to just play from start to the DLC and see how long the game takes. Should be fun. Gonna be honest, I'm glad I have two switches, the classic and the ScarVi edition cause that way I won't be under a time crunch for the Dialga Palkia Darkrai event lol

Okay so, crazy theory time. We have a past Paradox Johto trilogy and a future Paradox Unova trilogy. What if they do like the Hoenn Titans and unlock another, like Past Paradox Celebi and Future Paradox Keldeo?!
Do we know if the raid exclusive paradox mon will be back (like Walking Wake)? Missed out when they released and have been wanting to get ahold of one for a while.
