It Consists of ranking passports according to how many other territories can be reached 'visa-free' All distinct destination countries and territories in the IATA database are considered. However, since not all territories issue passports, there are far fewer passports to be ranked than destinations against which queries are made.

If you think on a bigger picture, even both Singapore and Japan shared 1st place in passport power, actually *the Singaporean passport is more powerful than Japanese Passport, because Singapore had the least international conflict with the rest of the world while in history, Japan has a record of causing international wars such as World War 2.* This is like saying the *Canadian Passport is more powerful than the USA Passport due to Canada having minimal conflicts with the Middle East besides perhaps Canada partnering with USA which some Middle East countries have declared as an enemy country.*

But there a lot Political reasons and bilateral agreements that can help a country to improve her Passport rating,fie example if a country does not suffer from over population and her citizens are very educated, her Government can easily reach out to other countries and sign Immigration Mou for her Passport to be strong this is a simple political move that some governments will never make move even when her country is qualified ..
