ZAY, one of the best things about Led Zep was that there was no particular Led Zeppelin “sound”, you never knew what they would do next. Lots of people assume they were strictly hard rock, but there are lots of acoustic songs, slow songs, love songs, happy songs, sad songs.

Amazing song ‘cover’ by Jimmy. He used a slightly different tuning on the Gibson J200 than normal, which gives it a unique sound. It really shows his skills on an acoustic. I waiting for the next one….Communication Breakdown is my favorite off of LZ 1! I used it as my ringtone on my phone when I worked. Nothing like a nice quiet meeting and then the first bars of CB came blaring from my phone! I just always wished he extended the middle solo by about 5 minutes! But songs had to be short to get radio play unless it was a college station!

Black Mountain Side has an Indian sound (Raga) using alternate tuning on acoustic guitar, a sitar and other instruments. Love this and White Summer.

LOL! It's Funny watch you Youngsters Respond to Zeppelin's Unique Style! I mean Music 🎶 outlets, record Stores, Billboards Charts just labeled Them Rock just Because it was Easier. But ZEPPELIN, is Uniquely Zeppelin!! That's why Many of there Peers Hated Them. Well That, and the fact that Zeppelin was Getting Praise for Their Take on the Blues from The Surviving Blues Legends of the Day! I have Much more to Say about this. But another time!
