Thank you for your concern! The mom does have an owner, even though we wish they’d take better care of her. Unfortunately, we can’t just take her without permission. She’s also part of a pack with other dogs in the area, and they rely on each other for care and companionship, which we didn’t want to disrupt. Additionally, bringing her here would have posed risks with our current dogs, and we don’t have the proper facilities to safely separate them. If you’d like to see improvements in our ability to help dogs like her, we’d love your support! We’re always working toward expanding and doing more. Lastly, if we hadn’t taken the puppies, two of them likely wouldn’t have survived. We’re doing the best we can under the circumstances. I hope this clears things up!
