This song really fits a friend group i was in (and still kinda am in, just without the toxic person) a person who was the oldest was toxic. But then, I had to move, my mother did'nt have the support so she's staying with my uncle. So when I went to my new school, it was about to be the end of 3rd grade and on to 4th. This song really fits a friend group i was in (and still kinda am in, just without the toxic person) a person who was the oldest was toxic. A line really fits how we felt, i relate to the lyrics: “ i was just surprised at how you turned on me so fast.. I let you in.” My bestie would be: “i held you close” and my youngest bestie would be: “my blood flows like a river cause I trusted you the most.” It’s honestly really sad when you think about it.
(My related lyrics explained: i was new to the friend group and still getting to know everyone. Whenever they hung out at her house someone would suggest someone go invite me. Whenever brought up that maybe i could hang out with them too the toxic friend would disagree on so many levels. As a result only hung out at her house once.
