a song that entertains like there is a horror element, but actually has a hidden meaning I like this kind of song different from the others, and I have quit smoking 12 years ago, thank god, family that always helps
Same! Reading the comments has got me feeling so humble! It's been 8 months since I last smoked a cig and I stopped pretty easily considering it was 7 years of smoking
In fact, you can stop whenever you want. My father smoked for years and suddenly quit. We were all surprised because he had no such plan. I was smoking too, and it took me a while to think it was stupid. I was no longer as enthusiastic as I used to be, and I was angry with myself. Tired of smelling cigarettes and the possibility of getting sick, I quit smoking. The thing to know is that quitting smoking is not easy. Sometimes I just want to smoke too much. Even when I see someone smoking on the street, I have a nicotine crisis. You can quit smoking, but you can't forget it. I think the correct explanation is that these people can quit smoking whenever they want. It's just difficult and impossible to forget, which can make you unhappy. I quit smoking, I don't drink alcohol anyway, I'm happy for that, but when I have a nicotine crisis, I don't care and I get angry at myself for not smoking. This feeling pisses me off, you understand? Think of it this way, someone who has never eaten chocolate does not want chocolate. But even if someone who knows the taste of chocolate decides not to eat it anymore, he sometimes remembers it and feels like crap. I want to tell people who smoke that you can stop smoking whenever you want. You are stronger than your addiction. I also want to say to non-smokers that if you start smoking, it will be very difficult for you to quit. If you're really determined, you can do it, but for the rest of your life, a piece of you will always be missing. Non-smokers don't understand this. they accuse smokers of being stupid. No, they are not stupid. Imagine that you just stopped drinking water. Of course water is healthy and you need it to live, but addiction is addiction. You shouldn't smoke because you want be able to quit when you want, but because you will sometimes feel shit for the lack of it throughout your life!
This song is heartbreaking, especially when you can relate to it. I've known many people who died because of smoking, they really didn't quit it. Until one of them said, "How I wish I stopped earlier before it's too late" on his deathbed.
@@enkhzorigtjavkhlant802i know how you feel, my uncle died because of smoking… Honestly quitting is HARD so she has to want to do it in order to quit. Switching to vape can help; it still harms your lungs but not that much, then she should try to vape less and less each day and then switch to gum (I’m not sure what it’s called but there is a special gum with nicotine to substitute smoking) It’s mainly the nicotine that your brain gets addicted to so the first month without smoking will be hard af, I’m hoping you convince her to quit cause smoking is slowly killing her!!
My grandpa smoked his whole life pretty much, I was still rly young but I recall him standing in the balcony and smoking while I drank pepsi, then he quit a few years later when I was maybe like 9 and he was doing pretty fine until this year he died of covid and other respiratory problems so uh
My mom uses cigarettes as a coping mechanism.she said it started with “it’s just one”, I’ve seen my mom smoke a pack or two in one day... now she’s better, but it’s still bad. Just don’t smoke at all kids.
almost every adult in my life smokes cigarretes daily. I've never really seen them as bad as other things, it's always been normal and I thought most parents smoked them.
Happened to me. I was great friends with a girl I go to high with in my class. We were basically like a bro and a sis. Now she is uniterestes in what I do, she smokes almost 12 cigs a day, and Im starting to think she can't stand my presence and my company. I fear how we are gonna end up like. I miss her. 😢

Yeah, in a way I feel like he's kinda trying to guilt her into stopping smoking, and threatening to slap her was kinda out of hand. But at the same time, hes trying to protect a loved one and doesn't want her to get addicted. Kinda need more story to figure it out.
nah i think that this relation ship is actually heathy until the girl starts smoking and the guy tries convinces her to stop so something bad dosent happen and wen i think of the smacking thing i think of it as the guy not being hostile and just scolding her a bit
I mean, cigarettes are bad for you but unless you do it regularly it’s not gonna hurt. I’ve had one cigarette in my life and i had no desire to do it again - it gives no immediate benefits so you basically can’t get addicted from one. Maybe once a week is the least it takes, idk
@@georgie1240 yes u ca- how old are u?! Are you this uneducated on this topic. It’s about ur genes. 💀 eg some people can take alcohol once and never do it again but another person can come and take that same amount but they get addicted instead. Each person is different and it’s literally a biological fact that how prone u are to getting addicted to substances is due to your genetics. So unless you go around testing people, don’t say “you can’t get addicted” of “it takes once a week” because each person’s body is different, meaning responses to nicotine can vary

My grandfather was a smoker throughout almost his whole life. Started in his early teens and followed him all the way to his elderyhood. He died of lung cancer when I was 12. I remember when I was a little kid he would always tell me and my sister to never smoke cigarettes and that you will regret it if you do. I’m 18 now and I’ve never touched a cigarette or any drugs in my whole life
My aunt won’t even stop smoking during her pregnancies. We’ve told her about the consequences. All of her children have been born prematurely and underweight. One gets pneumonia constantly (my mom is adopting him luckily and he’s gotten sick less now that he’s away from my aunt’s secondhand smoke). Another had to be airlifted to the children’s hospital after she was born. As most of the other comments have said on this video, just don’t smoke. Maybe you don’t care about your own health but it hurts your loved ones, too. Emotionally AND physically.

Something to remember: smoking isn’t a “trend” or an “aesthetic”, it’s an addiction, a bad one. It can impact on your lungs and breathing. My parents smoke and every day I just hear them coughing up their throats. They often miss events because the have to take a break to have a cigarette. ⚠️Dont smoke, it’s bad for your lungs and can lead to breathing problems
My mom smokes. Recently, me, my mother, my brother and my mother's friend who also smokes were on vacation. When we were in the car and they were smoking, sometimes I couldn't even breathe
tw eating disorder // - - i know this song is literally about cigarettes but as someone with an eating disorder who was pretty smooth in recovery for almost a year and then relapsed recently, this resonates hard with me. especially the “when i want to stop i can” part. that’s what i told myself, and that was the biggest lie i ever told myself. i swear it’s an addiction (edited to keep the triggering bits under “read more”)
reminder, kids: don't smoke. it's not cool, it isn't 'aesthetic,' and will just ruin your life. i luckily don't have that nasty habit, but so many people in my family do. smoking's not that fun when your parents miss things because they have to have a smoke break, your clothes always smell like smoke and you can't even control it, and you hear your parents coughing up their lungs every day.
@@mel234 honestly being a child of a smoker is so hard. ppl say that children of smokers are more likely to smoke themselves, but im literally horrified of smoke and nicotine, so much so that when my friend had a vape once i started tearing up bc of it. it's hard :(( it's even harder when you KNOW they can cut down bc they've tried to quit before but theyve just given up
my parents have been smoking since ive had memory, after almost living for 13 years my mom is just now stopping and my dad is still. i also know that they have been smoking years before they were married (i think) and i hate it and the way i get sick yet comfortable around the smoke.
My mum has always smoked. Every day she coughs up her freaking lungs and the sound of coughing now triggers me because I have to cover my ears. Smoking isn’t “cool”, “hot”, “pog”, or any of the three. Instead it’s disgusting, can have major health complications, and can terrify other people. Anytime I see smoke I start to freak out kind of and my mum complains that I have asthma. Life as a smoker’s kid isn’t fun, you don’t get free cigarettes or stuff like that, instead your parents look forward to getting their wages just to buy a new pack of cigarettes, not even looking forward to their wages so they can get something else like some nice clothes, it’s all just cigarettes cigarettes cigarettes. I really need new clothes because all my white t shirts are non existent and instead look really yellow and stink of smoke. We have to paint the doors almost monthly at this point because the white on them also goes yellow. I just wish there was a way it could stop
I’m on 18 days clean, before that I was on like a month and a half and my mum saw it on my arm and yelled at me but I played dumb and she’s just ignored it now I think so that’s great
My mom was a chainsmoker from the age of 13. Yes, life was that bad in the USSR, even in the capital. She quit at 50 few years ago. So fucking proud of her❤️
Good for her. It's not an easy thing to kick. I've personally never seen the appeal of smoking. Although many of my friends have emptied their pockets and scarred their lungs as a result of it.

Lmaooo can relate. The other me try to convincing me that smoking is bad and the other one just "Hippity Hoppity, these cigs r my property" and buy a lot of lighters as well 🤦🏻♀
"I was different then I don't need them to be cool" Reminds me of how I first smoked because it looked cool. Now I can't stop suddenly because it gives me headaches. Slowly trying to be sober. Lol
This makes me remember about my classmates from middle school. I was in 7th grade, it was winter, and i walked with four of my classmates around our school, when suddenly, we meet another girl from our class. We all knew she was smoking since the 6th grade, but what had surprised me was that two of the persons i was with talked with her to give them some cigarettes (i didn't know since then that they are smoking) and they wanted to infulence me and the other two classmates to smoke. It was me, a girl and a boyfriend, of the ones who smoked. Me and that guy refused straightforward to smoke, but the girl tried a smoke after the other classmates said: "it's just a smoke, you can quit aftewards, just tryyyy, it would be fun!" And they started to make fun of me and that guy calling us fearfull of everything. After that incident i didn't know how to react: I should have tried one? Are people just paranoid or you really can't stop smoking after you try once?! I decided to talk to my parents about the hole thing and they showed me lungs after smoking (ew). That girl who was influenced by those classmates is now obssesed with cigarettes and the worst part is that she is so unconscious about the bad effects of it. Conclusion: don't smoke kids, it's not trendy, people can have a impression about you pretty badly. If you do it only because of your friends then it is not worth it. They are not your friends, true friends are the ones who are you confortable to be yourself with. You don't need to do something just to impress them bc if they can't apreciate you for who you are, then they would never see your efforts to be around them anyways and the only thing you will remain with is this addiction.
@CutiePie 林檎 My classmates did even worse and no one expelled them, even trough they smoked in class or next to the trash where no one could see them. I hate that because those classmates bullied people in front of our teachers and they didn't say ANYTHING. They were always favored, that's why i hated middle school. For example, i remember i was in math class and i went to the white board to solve a problem and those classmates (they asked our teacher if they could take their seats and move in front of the board to see more clearly, even trough they didn't know anything about math) And they started saying i am stupid and etc and the teacher didn't say anything. When i respond in the same way they talked to me IT WAS MY FAULT. Hopefully, i am in a serious High School where the teachers really care about their students now
I used to have a 'friend' at 6th grade who was drinking and smoking I dont know or heard anything from her Even if we hate each other know I hope she quitted and is healthy now

Don't smoke kids, or adults, or whatever. It has been my escape for over 7 years, and I've managed to pull it down luckily. Used to smoke pack or more per day, nowadays it's 3-7, but I can promise you don't wanna cough up blood, if it gets bad. Been there, still not fully quit due my own reasons, but I think it was never worth my sadness, to start it. I know, life can be super messed up and hard, but I still wouldn't recommend it. The addiction can get bad, and don't even try to pull it under the rug with "I can quit whenever I want to, I don't get addicted easy"
My father don't give a fuck. I had a bad case of asthma when I was young and he still smoked in closed areas all the time even when I'm in the car with him.
Why is no-one talking about “well she’s gonna get a smack, and I’m gonna give you three”? I feel like this song is about a boyfriend who is terrified for his girlfriend’s health because he saw what smoking did to himself, so much so that he lets his worried mask slip and turns to threats to scare her out of it.

I know how bad smoking is and I don’t smoke but I just adore the smell. Like when I walk in my high school’s hallways right after recess and I can smell the scent of burned cigarettes from the students who smoke, it does make me cough tho. I’m not sure why I like the smell so much, but I think it might be because my grandma smokes and when I was younger I’d go visit her to find her smoking in her living room, so, nostalgia I guess?
This song is such a comfort for me since my mom has always been a heavy smoker. I used to often ask, even beg her to stop smoking because I was so worried about her. She always shut me down saying it's not that bad and I'm overreacting. So I stopped asking her, I still cried because of it sometimes and it hurts to this day every time I hear her cough, but I have to keep quiet if I don't wanna provoke an argument. I never dared to touch a cigarette. I never wanted to become like my mom and I never want to. I've often been made fun of it. I don't like going to parties anymore since every bottle and every cough reminds me of my mom and it hurts me every time I see a Marlboro packet.

My grandpa died of lung cancer due to smoking for 57 years about a year ago. I was closer to him that I am to my mother, and I've always told myself that I would never smoke, but at that very moment I knew that I was never going to touch a cigerate and I will always have a deep hatred for the rolls.
The instrumental for this songggggg. It’s so magnificent, it’s almost indescribable... It sounds so nostalgic and far away.. with all the echos and hushed sounds it’s like you’re listening to your own memories and past conversations.. stuck in the flashback.
I don't know the exact meaning behind this song but here's how I interpret it: -It's about an abusive/manipulative boyfriend that shows his true colors during an argument by taking it too far and threatening violence towards his girlfriend. He sounds like he's forcing way too much to fake a sickly sweet spiel while she sounds like she's bored or tired of his facade. He is however not done with her yet so she keeps trying to trick her into his own "I am all that you need" view of their relationship. -It's about a boyfriend who's worried sick about his girlfriend becoming a smoker due to his past addiction that probably gave him various health problems judging from his raspy/distorted voice ("Like you always used to do" "I was different then") but he ends up getting overly emotional and lashes out at her. She's starting to increase the amounts of cigarettes she's smoking ("I only did it once." "It's only twice a week.") And since he's a former smoker he doesn't want her to develop the same addiction he used to have or have her be badly influenced by other people. She on the other hand sounds like she's downplaying the situation like "Oh,no biggie." Despite him trying and failing to warn her about the risks of smoking. -Both of them are toxic/abusive towards each other and the song is about i immaturity in relationships or adults in general. Their voices sounds more childish and whiny in some parts of the song like they're trying to mock each other and their comebacks also seem like they come from two kids and not too adults. The girlfriend sounds like she's doing it out of spite and the boyfriend is just as childish by making fun of her for doing that instead of giving her a serious talk. I'm more leaning towards the second one because my mother smokes 2 to 3 packs a day and I get furious at her when she goes "Heh. I'll stop sooner or later." Smokers are stubborn mfs.
And the father is smoking, but he don't want his kid to smoke too. Just she's saying „honey” so it's hard to say. Maybe that's the same what I said, just with boy friend.
I rather think it's about a boyfriend who's addicted to drugs and the gf always told him to stop and some day they had a fight and she was like "now im gonna take it" and then got sorta used to it. He noticed and and she tried to tell him that it's not that bad if she only takes a few and he already knows she'll take more than a few and tries to make her stop
I personally believe it’s a story about a girl who starts smoking to be cool, like her boyfriend used to do, and he’s starting to get worried she’s becoming addicted. Her defense? “You used to do it, so why can’t I?” He continuously tries to persuade her to stop, and after a while, he threatens her to stop or else he’ll beat her up. She doesn’t stop, and he doesn’t hit her because it was just an empty threat. I can’t really think of anything else to add... so, uh, I’ll just leave this here.
@@antons..8536 well I have bigger addiction for food so cigs aren’t like that much of fun and if my parents found out that I smoke will beat the shit out of me. Yea there are times that I have the urge to smoke but it just goes away or I have a smoke if I can.
This song hurts me so much. It reminds me of being a kid and listening to Melanie Martinez and Jack Stauber. It reminds me of my parents guilt tripping me for my suicide attempts in order to make me listen to them. I’ve never smoked but I’m addicted to false realities. It’s funny that I hate the world we live in so much that I pretend to leave it. I pretend that I’m a character from an anime or show. It makes it almost painful that cosplay is the only coping mechanism I have in my abusive household. A couple hours ago, I was scavenging through my parents medicine cabinet and found pain reliever pills but I’m trying so hard to keep myself alive, just long enough that I can do one more cosplay, one more artwork, call my friends one more time. So just someone give me one more thing to do
I don't know how old are you, but try to start collecting money so you can move out after you turn 18. Then you don't have to live in your abusive household.
i see this is posted a week ago, I hope youre doing okay, I know my pity won't help you but I am truly sorry and I pray you'll do better, no one deserves a abusive household and though I dont know you I think you certainly don't deserve it, suicide sounds like a valid escape but its not worth it, there's so much beauty in this world to see even though i know it can be hard, you're not alone, I believe you will get out of there and live a happy successful life, you are special, you can do anything. dont give up and hang in there, your happiness will come soon
This song really hits me since my sister and her husband smoke and vape despite knowing what happened to our grandpa (he died of lung cancer because he was a smoker and he couldn’t quit, he tried and was getting pretty close to fully quitting when he died) I don’t judge them Their lives can be really hard and my sister has major anxiety just like me so I understand how it feels I know they smoke to calm down and stuff and that it’s an addiction They recognize that it’s bad for them and they are addicted to it But they won’t try to stop and I don’t think they know how much it hurts me to see my big sister go out to smoke or take a hit on the vape right in front of me Our aunt had to go on a ventilator because she smoked so much She got better thank god And she’s quitting now It just upsets me that my big sister can’t see that her smoking isn’t just hurting her but it hurts me too emotionally at least It may not have any bad effects at the moment but at 40 when she can barely breath she’s really gonna wish she had listened to us
"It'll make you sick, girl, there's not much of a chance" "can't you trust me? When I want to stop I can" both lines hit hard as a smoker myself, it's an endless rabbit hole
I still listen to this song often, it keeps me in line. My father is an alcoholic and smoker and he is petrified of me being like him because for him. His addiction cant be stopped, he has tried and failed. He always tells me and my sister no, I tried smoking to relieve stress when I was you ger and he shut me down. Right after that is when I originally found this and ever since it is a reminder to keep myself better like he wants.
Okay but the line, “She’s gonna get a smack, and I’m gonna give you three” Does anyone else hear three drumbeats directly after it, like, you know, _representing him hitting the girl?_
I am just vibing to this song when suddenly: "It's just a cigarette that i got from Jamie-Lee" "She's gonna get a smack, and I'm gonna give you three" I laughed so hard that it broke my immersion. But this songs is really good.
it's very weird to me to see these comments and americans in general "acting dramatic" about cigarettes bc here it is very normalized... but like in comparison I'm very weird about how normalized drug usage is normalized in the US

Same! Reading the comments has got me feeling so humble! It's been 8 months since I last smoked a cig and I stopped pretty easily considering it was 7 years of smoking
You’re one of the lucky ones. Good job on quitting.
Stop it💪😁👍

@@enkhzorigtjavkhlant802i know how you feel, my uncle died because of smoking… Honestly quitting is HARD so she has to want to do it in order to quit. Switching to vape can help; it still harms your lungs but not that much, then she should try to vape less and less each day and then switch to gum (I’m not sure what it’s called but there is a special gum with nicotine to substitute smoking) It’s mainly the nicotine that your brain gets addicted to so the first month without smoking will be hard af, I’m hoping you convince her to quit cause smoking is slowly killing her!!
Thankfully I managed to quit. I was a social smoker and didn’t smoke a pack a day or anything but still. Been happier ever since.

no, it cant
I mean, cigarettes are bad for you but unless you do it regularly it’s not gonna hurt. I’ve had one cigarette in my life and i had no desire to do it again - it gives no immediate benefits so you basically can’t get addicted from one. Maybe once a week is the least it takes, idk
@@bboris7732 it can I promise
@@georgie1240 yes u ca- how old are u?! Are you this uneducated on this topic. It’s about ur genes. 💀 eg some people can take alcohol once and never do it again but another person can come and take that same amount but they get addicted instead. Each person is different and it’s literally a biological fact that how prone u are to getting addicted to substances is due to your genetics. This fuckin song is so addictive without being a smoker
For example, i remember i was in math class and i went to the white board to solve a problem and those classmates (they asked our teacher if they could take their seats and move in front of the board to see more clearly, even trough they didn't know anything about math)
And they started saying i am stupid and etc and the teacher didn't say anything. When i respond in the same way they talked to me IT WAS MY FAULT.
Hopefully, i am in a serious High School where the teachers really care about their students now

The addiction can get bad, and don't even try to pull it under the rug with "I can quit whenever I want to, I don't get addicted easy"
im happy that you could quit :) hope ur having a good day

Well done

Sorry if I’m being annoying but please don’t try and smell the smoke a lot, its second-hand smoking and its just as bad as actual smoking

[Verse 1: Princess Chelsea & Jonathan Bree]
It's just a cigarette and it cannot be that bad
Honey, don't you love me? And you know it makes me sad
It's just a cigarette like you always used to do
I was different then, I don't need them to be cool
[Verse 2: Jonathan Bree & Princess Chelsea]
It's just a cigarette and it harms your pretty lungs
Well, it's only twice a week so there's not much of a chance
It's just a cigarette, it'll soon be only ten
Honey, can't you trust me? When I want to stop, I can
[Verse 3: Princess Chelsea & Jonathan Bree]
It's just a cigarette and it's just a Marlboro Light
Maybe but is it worth it if we fight?
It's just a cigarette that I got from Jamie-Lee
Oh, she's gonna get a smack, and I'm gonna give you three
[Chorus: Princess Chelsea & Jonathan Bree]
It's just a cigarette and I only did it once
(It's just a cigarette, it'll soon be only ten)
It's only twice a week so there's not much of a chance
(It'll make you sick, girl there's not much of a chance)
It's just a cigarette and I'm sorry that I did it
(It's just a cigarette, you'll be sorry that you did it)
Honey, can't you trust me? When I want to stop, I can

My grandpa died of lung cancer due to smoking for 57 years about a year ago. I was closer to him that I am to my mother, and I've always told myself that I would never smoke, but at that very moment I knew that I was never going to touch a cigerate and I will always have a deep hatred for the rolls.
I’m sorry for your loss
i had the exact same thing.. but when he died shortly after that i started smoking, bc i always think of him when i smoke.. with the smell and idk..
I'm sorry for your loss :(💜
I'm soo sorry for your loss
Same but with my uncle and 5/7 years ago who defend me when i was harrassed by adults because of my difficult to talk (i LOVE my country..)
Somebody else noticed this? In the beginning she said
"Just a cigarette"
"I only did it once"
But later it's "twice a week"
it's to show that cigarettes are addictive and even if you think it's not that bad it will turn bad eventually
The instrumental for this songggggg. It’s so magnificent, it’s almost indescribable...
It sounds so nostalgic and far away.. with all the echos and hushed sounds it’s like you’re listening to your own memories and past conversations.. stuck in the flashback.
I don't know the exact meaning behind this song but here's how I interpret it:
-It's about an abusive/manipulative boyfriend that shows his true colors during an argument by taking it too far and threatening violence towards his girlfriend.
I think that may be father and daughter also
And the father is smoking, but he don't want his kid to smoke too.
I think it’s just about not wanting someone to smoke cause it’s a gross and deadly habit
I personally believe it’s a story about a girl who starts smoking to be cool, like her boyfriend used to do, and he’s starting to get worried she’s becoming addicted. Her defense?
“You used to do it, so why can’t I?”
He continuously tries to persuade her to stop, and after a while, he threatens her to stop or else he’ll beat her up.
She doesn’t stop, and he doesn’t hit her because it was just an empty threat.
I can’t really think of anything else to add... so, uh, I’ll just leave this here.
Everybody thinks they can stop if they want :/
I can I’m not even kidding

This song really hits me since my sister and her husband smoke and vape despite knowing what happened to our grandpa (he died of lung cancer because he was a smoker and he couldn’t quit, he tried and was getting pretty close to fully quitting when he died)
I don’t judge them
Their lives can be really hard and my sister has major anxiety just like me so I understand how it feels
I know they smoke to calm down and stuff and that it’s an addiction
They recognize that it’s bad for them and they are addicted to it
But they won’t try to stop and I don’t think they know how much it hurts me to see my big sister go out to smoke or take a hit on the vape right in front of me
Our aunt had to go on a ventilator because she smoked so much
She got better thank god
And she’s quitting now
It just upsets me that my big sister can’t see that her smoking isn’t just hurting her but it hurts me too emotionally at least
It may not have any bad effects at the moment but at 40 when she can barely breath she’s really gonna wish she had listened to us
Oh
im sorry this is happening to you. hopefully you can get thru to her and have her stop before its too late
"It'll make you sick, girl, there's not much of a chance" "can't you trust me? When I want to stop I can" both lines hit hard as a smoker myself, it's an endless rabbit hole
Are you okay?
I still listen to this song often, it keeps me in line. My father is an alcoholic and smoker and he is petrified of me being like him because for him. His addiction cant be stopped, he has tried and failed. He always tells me and my sister no, I tried smoking to relieve stress when I was you ger and he shut me down. Right after that is when I originally found this and ever since it is a reminder to keep myself better like he wants.

I actually started to like this song when I heard that part 😁
it's very weird to me to see these comments and americans in general "acting dramatic" about cigarettes bc here it is very normalized... but like in comparison I'm very weird about how normalized drug usage is normalized in the US
Oh-
drug usage isn’t really normalized in the us. it’s pretty much just in the media, and even then it’s seen as a romanticization.
Here in Italy almost eveyone smoke...I don't tho ('cause I'm muslim)

Well I don't want my family to die from cancer. For what? A cigarette? With no benefits to you at all except for emptying your pockets and absolutely destroying your health? It's a lose lose situation! Why would I want to do that? Hell no.
