Wrangling Cows On Motorcycles?! | KTM 390 Duke VS Husqvarna 401 Vitpilen

- You just can't make this stuff up.. While out testing and comparing the Husqvarna Vitpilen 401 & the KTM 390 Duke we came across a cow galloping down the street like something you would see in a movie.
Having to act fast to ensure the safety of the cow I sped up next to her and steered her in the right direction back towards the pasture which she then remembered how to get back in.
On another note.. These are both amazing motorcycles that offer great performance for the money and the only deciding factors for purchasing one over the other comes down to looks. The Husqvarna offers a vintage cafe racer styling, while the KTM looks like a sporty Praying Mantis.
Overall you can't go wrong with either machine and they

Had a cow jump on the road once in front of me, about a six foot drop from pasture to road. I like the look of the café, but prefer upright for general use around town, so if I had one choice I'd go with the Duke.

Good video.. i have a question , why isn't your tft display changing color in sun light.. usually when there is light , tft display changes to white background

I kinda like the looks of teh "Hysky", but as I'm looking between the two, I'm leaning towards the Duke... Hard choice (especially if you throw in the Svartpilen in the mix)
Between the two, i think you already know which one i like more ☺️ but i do agree that the Husky is uncomfortable.

You should try the svartpilen - its the same bike just styled a little differently. The seating position is way more comfortable.
What is the difference in gearing between the two?

Super Dookey looks way more comfortable. I dont like cafe bike's but i know what looks good and for that style of bike, its bad ass looking. On the "Dookey" I like how the Tank is between the legs a bit for more body control. You should keep the Dookey :)

One vote for the duke here. Yeah 40lbs makes a huge difference in 40hp bikes. Wish you’d have kept the duke a little longer, seems like an entertaining bike! So the latex gloves under the moto gloves help a lot with the cold or what?
I like both bikes but I would take the duke for the comfortable ride weight dose make a big difference when racing you might want to put a pipe on the duke more back pressure give you more horse power
I choose the Vit!! Duke was like riding a giant Grom. Vit is perfect for them hipsters. 😂 also, we should probably start our own cattle herding cycle company. YEW!
cbusauruswrex your bike looks way better, probably one of the best looking bikes out there. But comfort is a huge thing for me, otherwise I find myself not riding it. How’s reliability/call backs been so far?
Flor Me thanks man. No issues so far and I think I have 2500 miles on it. Totally understand the comfort thing. I didn’t buy this for the comfort. 99% of my ride time is my 22min commute to work. I don’t get to make it on trips to the Tail of the Dragon like Tanner! Occasionally I get out and ride with friends like this video. But not often. So, I can stand the position for a while. 😁
Literally grew up herding cows with a CRF80, CRF230, an XR400, and four wheelers.
I like the Duke. I liked the original dirt bike styled Duke. But for the money the new 390 is a bargain. Compare that price to a DRZ! Thousands different

Duke is the cheapest 400 cc In India (it's made here ) and Husquverna Twins are going to launch in December yay!

Too bad the a Duke is sold. I could see you doing meet ups and group rides on it. And!! The Tail of the Dragon! Oh well. The 401 looks better to me today. Must be because someone’s on it. It looks better with a rider! I still like THE DUKE! THE DOOOKE!
