Judge Rabinowitz (married Marilyn Monroe & Arthur Miller) on "What's My Line?"

  • Someone inquired on another of my uploads whether Marilyn herself ever appeared on WML. I could only reply that although she never did, she was certainly a frequent topic of conversation and game play. Here's yet another example of that, with Jack E. Leonard as guest panelist. Also note Arlene's plunging neckline!

Dorothy looked sweet and lovely and Arlene's dress lets us know what a lovely figure she had. Arlene is always gorgeous and lively and smart! If I could trade me with her, I think I might, even if just for a while! Women could learn a thing or two from someone like her. I used to say I wanted to look like Gwynneth Paltro, but now I change my mind to Arlene, plus her fantastic personality and smarts! On the other hand, Arlene was born 8 years before my grandma, and she would have also been a wonderfully fun grandma, if I could choose her, instead of my 2 whacky grandmas!

The judge is, indeed, a very handsome gentleman (Arlene ALWAYS took notice when a good looking male specimen was a contestant!); and Dorothy looks especially youthful and lovely this evening - I love her hair in soft, bouncy curls.

I agree on both counts. He was a dish and looser hair just suited Dorothy so much better, I think because it chimed with the fun, creative, charming parts of her personality whereas when she had it very set it made her formal side seem staid rather than just classy as it was.

i've seen a few times where bennett nailed it right away. one time he commented that he would pour thru the newspaper - every section- to see what special stories were going on around town an hour before the show

Oh, I don't know. Marrying Marilyn would be a major sporting event in my mind.

I always thought Leonard was a riot. A born entertainer. "Do you write?" Ha! (... and to be called 'handsome' by Arlene Frances.. well, all other accomplishments would pale by comparison! )

For the first time EVER, I suspect Bennett of being on this from jump. Could this be a rare instance in which he knew but wanted to play the game anyway? Ooohhh....I'm having blasphemous thoughts and am off to wash my mouth out with soap!

And ANOTHER instance where he needs to stay away from the risque remarks or jokes. He's not funny at all in thsoe instances.....merely creepy

I get the sense Arlene clearly knows based on her line of questioning.

Dorothy asks intelligent questions and sometimes gets a lot of yes answers. But wanting to see their suit label a little embarrassing for the person. Probably thinking if it’s by an expensive designer they would be a professional rather than a laborer. Enjoy these old black and white shows.

Actually, although it might also be that, I think it was mainly to see *where* it was made - they have commented that several times. At any rate, they never ever embarrass the person by highlighting a cheap tailor. Besides, everyone wears their best clothes when they appear so they are all in ones that the audience would deem good and then a few are in particularly expensive ones.

Judge Seymour Rabinowitz married MM and AM, different person than Justice Jay Rabinowitz of the Alaska Supreme Court.

Shame Marilyn never appeared as a mystery guest. On another What's My Line, Toni West appeared as a judo instructor, but was a true Marilyn Monroe lookalike. Use this link ruclips.net/video/lCHjXsuzaCU/видео.html
