Wondering if that also works on my cheap judy gold fork, since it also has remote lock and works pertty much the same way, except that it has no direct adjustment on the handlebar. You have to open it to pull the cable fruther in i think. But on the fork itself you can ofc try to set it up more stiff. Im gonna try it out i guess!
I had 3 different problems, 1 with the air chamber (easy fix), bladder rubber smushy (replaced) and the latest was the bushings (fork replacement). Hope it wil now be better. All with regular maintenance, love and care.

Hello I have posted this on Reddit just yesterday a will paste the thread here. I have also Scott spark Rc pro 2022 Hello guys, I was wondering what is normal and what is not. When I bleed my damper for my sid select + 120mm fork and i lock the damper my fork barely moves like 1-3mm max, even when I stand up. This is way I like it. When I am racing a need firm fork to have support when peddling hard in the climbs especially some paved forest roads. After like 25-30hrs of riding and using all settings open - middle - lock I find my fork travel like 30-40% in lock position. I can’t even put power down properly because fork moves like opened. All seals on damper are new, and still air got in somehow in last time. no oil leaks. Is that movement normal or it should be “hard as rock” What is your experience, how much your fork travels during lock position? If I would upgrade damper to race day damper would it be the same after some time, or is it better and more stable? Do you have some experience with this stuff?
Hey Peter, if after awhile retightening the cable through barrel adjusted does not help, then it might be that the bladder is leaking. When it's not, the lockout is as firm as new. anso-suspension.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/1M-2.jpg Race Day damper won't give you anything better, just introduce even more possibilities for failures:) i haven't tried it myself, but heard enough stories of it being even more picky
@@tom10crafted it might leak, it must be leaking somehow, somewhere. Because today I was bleeding the damper and there was som much air line huge amounts. Now when I have bleeded the damper again, hard as rock. How long does this hard as rock last you? How many hrs do you ride until it will get softer?
@@peterppitrs the funny thing is that once it was replaced by the warranty - I already have 5k km on it without any problems ( already had full service made and its issues free ) so maybe… its a matter of luck:)
😵😵😵 Try to add allen key into the charger (center) and at the lock position see if you can still turn it clockwise - if so, then it means there is still room for tension

@@breakdown7553 let us know how it works! Just try pulling the cable with small increments

What specifically happened to the bushings? Curious!
@@tom10crafted the front fork is then very stiff en rough, no play in my case.
What to do with the SID Select fork without cable lockout?
It has handle lockout at the stanchion, and once locked does not hold stiff?
Exactly

Small update, charger was damaged and service exchanged it to the new one.
@@kamilposala8407 is it rigid stiff now?😎
Curious to know which remote lock out lever you use ? for suspension and dropper ?
Its Scott’s twinlock lever since 2022 models I guess🤘🏼

I have a new 2023 SID ultimate that despite making cable tension adjustments won't lock out. Straight out of the box...
