My Budgies fly around even while i am not at home. I even leav my window tipped open and they have never tried to go outside. They sit on the window looking outside. They will never fly away. Mine is so loving towards me. Both love sitting on my shoulder while i play ps4 or watch a film or read a book.

Hello Salvador budgie I recently received my pet bird from my grandmother's a few months ago,ever since then I rlly loved him and called him "kiwi" (he is a blue budgie but both his parents are green thus the name) and I Raised him as if he were my child, he has been very active with me ever since I got him he was happy, loving and calme (he was 2 months old) I was really happy aswell , I even got him a female ("marshmallow" she is neon purple) she doesn't seem to get along with me cuz she was traumatised in the past (she lived in a cramped and small cage at a pet shop near me) but I understand her, anyways what I wanted to say was that recently I showed him to my family and friends they loved him and his kitten like personality, but one day when he was out of his cage on my shoulder playing ,my mother came and rubbed his back I told her not to, she understood, but yesterday my friend visited and she kept rubbing his back I told her not to and explained, she was grossed out...
Her sister (3years old) kept trying to grab him while screaming I tried getting him away but she followed and today my sister kept on touching his cage hitting the bars and scaring him and his mate "marshmallow" now he lost trust in me I don't know what to do please help me..😞
Edit: kiwi is the bird in my profile you can see how trusting he was of me 😢
Just say to leave the Bird. If they dont and they keep being annoyed then just let them leave your house. Budgies has a good remeber and will know that your the owner and will protect him.
So sad people dont know how to do with budgies

Hi, try to be patient and gain their trust back.
It will take time, and it's important to prevent others from disturbing your birds.
If others can't behave around your budgies, it's preferred that you keep them caged at the time others are visiting you.

Ive had birds that joined me in the shower. I have also had birds that did not like to bathe. I have one now that uses its drinking water as a bath, does not like to bathe but its okay to make my hand wet and then grab it. They will be unable to fly with too much water.

I use cilantro, dill, and parsley usually.
You can also use mint, celery and fresh eucalyptus.

Kinda had to force my bird take a bath because she decided it was a good idea to get stuck behind the dressing table, and it was her first time too. Luckily she wasn't injured very bad.
My birdy prefers the last option with some grass 🤲. I bought a little bathtub for nothing. 😂👍

My budgie only had to hear water sprinkling and he would be in it in no time...

I can never get them to take a bath, they see water they run. Any tips? i always had to use the spray bottle forcefully to make sure they stay sanitary, cuz i dont want them getting sick again :(
Your budgies don't fly? You keep them out of the cage. Have you clipped their wings?
My bird technically lives outside her cage and has no clipped wings, if your bird it bonded to you they shouldn’t fly away and normally choose to stay by you, ((mostly when you have treats))

But when he's out of his cage he keeps on flying into walls. He's still very young he's only 7 weeks.
Is it possible I could trim his wings so he can fly but not as high until he gets better at flying?
Or how do I teach him to fly better so he's not flying into things.
