There was an interesting conversation while you were waiting for the kind of dumpling snack in the street shop. Some middle-aged(guessing based on the voice) woman said that she didn't pay for what she ate and noticed some time later and came back to pay. And the owner said that some times it is happening explaining it was not a big deal! Cool!!! :)
The reason Seoul and Busan are quiet right now is because it is the holiday season, the longest holiday in Korea. During the holidays, families and relatives who are away come together to share all the most delicious food, so most people don't go to restaurants during the holidays., they share home-cooked food. There will probably be a lot of people on vacation until this Sunday and many stores will be closed.Your video is wonderful . I look forward to your next video.
unbelivable. on your stall for street food, did you notice that ? the lady client forgot to pay, and she came back to pay. and the owner grandma said " it's okay, i just thought that you forgot to pay. not on purpose. " What a cool vive :D made me smile. haha.
I'm a bit unsure if this will come up in the next video, but personally, I wish you could have visited more of Busan's beautiful beaches.. Busan has been known as the second-largest city in South Korea and has been famous as a summer vacation spot for a long time. Some of the prominent ones include Haeundae Beach, Gwangalli Beach, Songjeong Beach, Songdo Beach, Dadaepo Beach, and many more picturesque places along the coastline. I hope you get to see these beautiful beaches next time! Also, as the name 'Busan' suggests ('San' meaning 'mountain'), there are many mountains in Busan. Among them, there is Geumjeongsan, home to Beomeosa Temple, which has been standing for nearly 1500 years. The mountain's traditional Makgeolli (rice wine) is famous nationwide and tastes really good, so I hope you get to enjoy it next time!
Busan -->. SAN (mountain). From its name, the city is surrounded by mountains. So there are many uphills and downhills and many apartment buildings and houses built on the hills. Busan is indeed intriguing city shrouded with mountain and ocean
That street food you ate is just called flat dumplings "napjak mandu". The red sauce she poured over it is from the spicy rice cake dish "tteokbokgi". It's kinds of a "food hack" that became popular to put that red sauce over everything you get at those stalls.
Although I could not understand entirely speaking on this video, I think he was looking forward to seeing the beach in Busan. so he said because he wasn't there. I recommend him visit 해동용궁사 자갈치 해운대 광안리 청사포 and take a rest at any coffee shop near beach and then should taste some sea food because you visit Busan if you still in Busan. Welcome to my city. 🎉
The catholic church I got married is near Busan station. Seeing your clip reminds me of the wedding day. My wife’s family lives in Busan and I miss going there 😢. We live in NYC now so thanks for the video. Gotta keep up with your travel logs.
Haedong Yonggung Temple, Haeundae and Gwangalli beaches, Gamcheon Cultural Village, Seomyeon nightlife, Jagalchi Seafood Market, Geumjeongsan hiking, Nampo-dong for shopping, Busan National University, Busan Tower, Haeundae Blueline Park and Sky Capsule, etc. Busan is a beautiful, laid back but modern city. And yes, you must try bulgogi in Korea. It is extraordinary. Enjoy!
Nampo-dong is pretty much like Seomyeon. PNU (Busan National University) has a university district just like any other university in Korea (bars after bars). I personally wouldn't go Busan Tower unless I have nothing else to do or you love to look at the skyline. Yongung Temple is great. Gwangalli also has a seafood market, so if you don't have time to go to Jagalchi, you can have your seafood there. Pretty much the same scene, just a little smaller. Haeundae has some great places, including the small tram that runs along the seashore (I forgot its name). If someone has more time to spare in Busan, I'd also recommend Yeongdo district. Taejongdae and Hynyeoul village (I prefer it over Gamcheon), etc...
I found you tracked quite old and traditional attractions and streets in Busan. Even I didn't notice that you've visited Sea and Marine views. Haeundae is quite modern area with beautiful beach and high-rise buildings. I wish you visit Busan again and enjoy the above listed spots and discover many more interesting things. Busan is attempting the host of World Expo 2030.
21:00 Those are all korean street food group called bunsik. The red sauce is from the tteokbokki(rice cakes with chiili paste sauce). and the thing you said that tasted like dough is a type of mandu. Mandu translates into dumpling. But bunsik mandu don't usually have that much filling in them. You just dip it in the tteokbokk sauce and eat it.
The dish you’re eating is japchae mandoo, it’s fried flat dumplings with glass potato starch noodles, and the sauce is ddukbokki sauce the rice cake sauce you ate before in Seoul. Busan is really famous for its fresh seafood raw or cooked. Try seafood in authentic places.
Its my hometown!! I haven’t been there for 7 years 😢 I recommend you to go to LOTTE GIANTS baseball game in Sajik stadium!! Busan is a city of baseball!

@@화준황 That's a good point. Since I'm only staying 2 days in Busan and arriving at 7-8am, I wanted to stay walking distance from the station. I got a hotel with the view of the harbor, looking onto the bridge.
@@화준황 He's in Jeonpo, which is only 13-14,000 won from Kwanganli by taxi or nine stops on the subway and 15 from Haeundae. Plus, Jeonpo/Seomyeon has good nightlife. It's a pretty good area to stay. I'd pick the beach for my hotel, but that's not a bad place at all, and you're probably not going to find much in Haeundae for KRW50,000 (but I'm not up on Airbnb places, so don't really know.) I think for travelers in their 20's that's a pretty good, very central location for fun. The subway is so convenient that anywhere on that side of town is actually pretty good.
Thank you for great video. I really enjoyed it. I’d like to you say that I really enjoy the way you traveled around the world that walking around the city alone and enjoying what you are interested in(like book stores and libraries….) I really appreciate your video. Thank you again 🙏 ❤

wow thanks for your nice compliments for Korea. Besides Busan, there're also many really beautiful islands and bay areas in Korea. you should try all of them next time! I like your travel vibe!!
The snack you had is called YaKki Mandoo, fried potstickers, filled with veges and noodles, usually eat as a side with TtokBokki. Boiled egg and kimbap also goes well together when you dip in the tokbokki sauce.
Korea has a very advanced cafe culture. One way to go without failure is to find a place with a good landscape. There must be a good cafe. Haeundae is the best beach/area to check out in Busan! Also, Gwanganlee (at night time) but I prefer Haeundae :) What you ate I think is 'Nab-jack-mandoo' which translates into 'flat dumpling' stuffed with chopped vermicelli noodles. It's a Busan traditional dumpling!

And if you go to Jagalchi market at night, you can enjoy both the vibe of deep night sea and some hustle and bustle of nightly drinking market.
20:30 it is ’군만두‘ fried dumpling (little bit different then fired dumpling it is kind of korean street style lol) Fried dumpling without meat in there Theats why its street fried dumpling!
21:00 it is fried dumpling with Chinese noodles in it. It is a bit greasy but delicious. And the sauce is Tteokbokki sauce which is spicy and sweet. As a Korean living in Busan, I am so glad to see my place in your video.

Hi Zane, I really appreciate your videos. Feel like I am there with you. You are doing such a wonderful job of showing us where you go and how to get there, sharing your experiences with us. Wish I could join you traveling around Korea! I haven't visited Korea for over 20 years so I will be completely clueless, but at least I speak the language. Haha Wishing you safe and fun times wherever you go! Btw, Lotte reads like Lo (as in lotion) + t + De (as in Dejavu) = Lotde 🙂
