i just love how Hana has been in a push-pull relationship with Hazel and then suddenly shows up at front of Hazel's house with a gift in the middle of the rain lmao the cliche
I feel that a sliding screen door from Snowy Escape would make a better wardrobe entrance than a regular door to make it more like a walk in closet, so the separation between the closet and the bedroom is permanent, but not too permanent. EDIT: Also, under activities there are the paintable City Living Shutter doors, one version with the roller shutter on top and one without, that can be used together to look like the inside and outside of a garage.
I liked Hannah but God, I don't know what that woman even wants a this point, she keeps going hot and cold on poor Hazel! That relationship had to end, I agree.
The downstairs area with the chess table could potentially be an interview area with clients with some comfy armchairs and a coffee table? Maybe a kitchenette and a photo wall
Even better, move the upstairs living room down, and make the upstairs area the interview area - like the downstairs is where she lives and the upstairs is office/showcase area.
"I need a bigger studio" It's almost like there's not an entire empty room right next to it right? 😂 Could just make the entire area a big studio space?
So glad you sold the stolen stuff you didn’t want to use. That’s the point of stealing it! Also, she could make candles in the garage to add to houses she decorates.
3 things: 1. Deli saying "Aw batuu!" just like James made my day 2. I like to put pet stuff under my stairs because it's out of the sims' way but the pets can still use it 3. Don't have to "pretend" that Hazel painted the garage because if you search "mural" there should come up 2 garages that you can paint murals onto directly
Google translate used as a censor and correction for mistakes reminds me of when James started using the applause and laugh sounds effect in Get Famous let's play and I'm so here for it 💀😂
Yes!!! I have a build with a pet bed and pet door under the stairs for a cozy nook so I was thinking the same thing. I haven’t play tested mine yet to see if the pets can use the bed under the stairs but I hope so! At worst it just looks cool ;)
I think tearing down the wall to the studio, expanding it and having it open would probably be the best! So you would enter it directly going down the stairs. You could add a little sitting area and all the other stuff you had to delete ^^
Your excitement over all the knitting stuff gave me an idea. What if Hazel improved her knitting skill to where she can make hangable things, and then you can put those in the houses you decorate, like what you do with paintings?
I saw her, looked away for a split second and then had a moment of “wait what 2 people!?” I got super scared for a moment but then realized it was Deli. What a jumpscare haha

OMG A DELI APPEARANCEEEEEEE 😍😍 she should give hazel an outfit makeover since Hazel is wealthier now compared to the start or wait till cottage living and give her a cottage makeover
I’m glad you broke through your Decorator’s block, it’s looking great! Lucky you have Deli as a consultant! I had some random thoughts while watching: - Maybe a rug in the walk in robe to soften up all the wood? - Love the photography stuff in her studio! If it were me I would move her painting stuff upstairs so she can get that sweet natural light and put up a few of her most successful reno photos. - Maybe a fun challenge would be to incorporate at least one Batuu item in each of her renovations? - Don’t forget to move our beloved yarn shelf somewhere prominent!
For the chess table area, I think a rug and a loveseat would be perfect and just keep it pretty open other than that. Also loved that you brought in Deli for assistance when you got stuck. You two work so well together! I'd love to see the two of you each build a house shell/exterior and floorplan, and have the other one furnish/interior decorate it :)
Suggestion: you could turn that landing area in the basement into a photo studio ( I don’t If you want that but the idea of painting from reference is quite fun, I just imagine Hazel painting Hagrid) because I am not sure if Sims can actually use that space in the office ( although it looks cool hahaha) and maybe put bookshelves there?! I am loving this series and I’m so excited to the cottage living series too 🙂🙂🙂
Agreed! James was saying the new studio was a little small to fit everything, so why not expand into that open landing? I think photography like you suggested would be the better activity for that first room so she can have clients in there and then her cluttered office is more private. Maybe even add a sitting area in the photo studio part for client interviews before the shoots? Oh, and lots of PROPS!
I was always thinking that you could turn the "spare room" upstairs into an office/client consultation area. Maybe if you did that, you would have more room in the studio downstairs.
Aww! Look at my Goal Family! I swear you guys are soo sweet!❤ And James you could put a Sectional Sofa in that empty space beside the stairs, like a reading corner with magazines and plants!!!!🌱❤

You have to be careful with those boxes. They are storage. I had issues when I was running a boarding house and I had a bunch of them by a sales table for kombucha. The roommates were putting dirty plates and books in them.
In the downstairs put the games table for when people come over and a place for drinks or popcorn a bit of a hangout. So cute when Deli came to visit ☺️

Edit: living for deli's "Aaah batuuuuu" also the landing area you could make like counters with mini fridge corner with drinks tray so when she is in the middle of working and needs a quick bite she doesn't have to go to the kitchen she can grab somthing quick from the mini fridge! I know as an artist if i had a full workshop in my home i would love that!
You have to add the flower arrangement set somewhere either with in the area of the garage or the garden for dream home decoration so that once you do a renovation that involves greenery you can put one of your flower arrangement as a little something extra for sims who are into gardening!
Am I just imagining things when I believe there was a table in the dream home decorator pack, also it was so adorable when Deli randomly said "awh batuu" 🥺❤
Since you have a bookcase downstairs I think a rug along with either two chairs or a two seat couch below the window would be a good addition. It would give sims a comfy place to sit while they relax and read.
I would make the stair room the paint studio and then keep the other room as the hobby/photography room. I love this let’s play so much and you and deli are literal goals ❤️
I suggest taking the closet wall and just put trims on the sides, or maybe separate it with a curtain to open up the space better! so it's not too dark in that corner

Nah then Batuu will grow up listening to everyone say they hate him
hearing Deli say James's famous line of "aww Batuu!" was very wholesome

🤣
This was a total and complete feelgood. I even went "YEAH-HA-HA-HEAH!" myself. 😊
