24:15 - Before Buck officially came out with an official 110 Auto knife, Buck auto conversion knives were still being sold on Blade HQ as late as the early 2010s. They even had a left-handed version for people like me. In hindsight, I should have bought one for the sake of preserving history.
I use a razor strop for my straight razors, for shaving, but I do have a paddle strop I use for knives. To anyone reading who is unfamiliar, it makes a huge difference. A nice polished edge is amazing.
I’ve really been getting into airguns lately. I like the Crosman Vantage Nitro Piston .177 cal. Going to upgrade to .22 cal next and probably get the 362. I’m into plinking, skeet shooting and archery. I have the M48 Hellhawk Crossbow which is a pretty decent budget crossbow. I believe it’s an 80 lbs draw. BudK sells the Umarex AirJavelin which is basically an air rifle that launches arrows instead of pellets. I know IraqVeteran8888 hunts deer with the big bore air rifles. The Seneca Dragon Claw .50 cal is a popular one for that. It’s SO expensive though.
Lol when I was a kid I loved when my mom got the sears catalog, an was always checking out the ladies in their undies! An then the knives, an guns an tools!
The Umarex "self defense" line is pretty much a bad joke no matter how you look at it. The idea behind it is having a self defense "gun" in countries where the possibility of a real firearm for self/home defense is slim to non existent like Germany. Problem is, even air powered guns in Germany are regulated to a 7,5 joule max output. Way weaker than the versions they sell in the US or other countries. So if you think "your" version of these things are a bad idea, try the nerfed one we get. And yeah, marketing something like that as a self defense tool in a country where even the most restricted states have better alternatives than this is another joke in itself.
OMG Jeff! You got to do a video on that wrist mounted flamethrower between the Trump knife and the pellet pistol on the first couple pages. What the hell would you use that thing for? To look like you’re unleashing fire out of your arm? I’d be nervous using that. I’d be afraid I might singe the flesh on the bottom of my hand! LOL!
It's more of like a "magician's" trick. It's a special kind of paper that burns really quickly and usually doesn't last long enough to ignite anything else.
I can't escape budk. They never relent, no matter how much time has elapsed since your last and only purchase. The king still remains AG Russell. Three separate catalogs every 4 weeks. Forever. And ever. And ever.
I remember when i was like 10 and a knife collector and someone told be about budk and that its where most of the knives at flea markets come from......when i got my first magazine "before home internet, like 25 years ago"...... I got soooo many knives for the same money i would spend on 1 at the market! They was mainly just cool looking and not functional....but you could find "good" knives for cheap price as well.
I live in an area called rabbit hill and in the summer if you want a garden one of these are pistols or rifles are necessary if you ever want to harvest anything because the amount of rabbits in the area are insane!
The Punisher logo makes me think of the military too. I like skulls, and more specifically the Punisher logo but I'll never wear it on anything because I'm not police or military and don't want to seem like I'm pretending to be so.
When i was growing up, punisher comics is pretty much how i learned to read. He was my favorite character so as an adult i own a handful of punisher shirts. If someone accused me of pretending to be a veteran because of those shirts i'd probably laugh in their face
Hi Jim I’ve seen some video on the shot gun rubber ball firer you forget in uk we can’t carry shit but this and the revolver are legal over here for home defence and we don’t allow shit so it can be handy or maybe give some one a bit more protection than nothing I’ve also seen them fire steel and pepper balls although pepper ones be against law over here in uk
I’ve noticed BudK does that with their catalogs. Just shuffling old products around pretending it’s new stuff. LOL! They actually have some Boker, Gerber, Benchmade and Protech autos for sale on their website. So they have been offering some quality products as of late besides the mall ninja stuff. What’s weird about BudK is some of the stuff they won’t ship to certain states. They won’t ship most of their BB, airsoft or pellet guns to Pennsylvania for some reason. They list California, New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts as the other states they can’t ship those to, but, like you said, Pennsylvania’s gun laws are SO much better than those states. I can understand those places with EVERYTHING being restricted to hell and back. You wouldn’t think there would be a problem with PA.
lol, well if you havent seen that before its a risk device that shoots flash paper used by magicians you have to use special paper that ignites quickly it would spark and shoot it and it would appear like a ball of fire shot out of your hand...Im sure it woudl be cool to anyone who didnt know where it was coming from but it woudl also gte expensive and old quick to keep buying the paper...
the walking dead is my favorite show and 4,5 and 6 are the best seasons for most fans also that rubber ball shotgun is one of the only options for defence in the UK
The full auto pellet gun not shipping to CA makes no semse to me. We can habe them here. Same with switchblades and butterfly knives. We can own them, just can't carry them (unless its a cali legal auto. And personally the main issue I've always had with Budk is that they lean so heavily on the "knives are weapons" thing which does more harm than good to the knife community and just continues to push a bullshit stigma. That and they kinda just sell cheap shit you could get for less money on wish or some shit like that.

Based Budk is based.
Good video as always. Maybe you should take the family out to the Old Food Buffet for Christmas lunch. Lol
That stag hunting knife looked decent at least.
How do I get a catalog from them cause it looks like some cool stuff just to mess with

Got a lot of nostalgia from this

The crosman air pistol has a stock/brace option, never seen it in stores but I did see they have it available on their (crosman's) website.

Back in the 70's there was the Midwest Knife company ads in hunting mags. I had a few.

Just happened to peek on Amazon and that same crossman pellet pistol is $59.99 as of right now
Can that pellet pistol mount a scope?

I think the punisher skull has been run into the ground, just not as neat of a symbol as it use to be.
Frank Castle will always be cool though.
I live in an area called rabbit hill and in the summer if you want a garden one of these are pistols or rifles are necessary if you ever want to harvest anything because the amount of rabbits in the area are insane!
Smokey Mountain and the original Sportsmans Guide were my jam
The Timber Rattler El Paso Bowie is the best item I've ever bought on Budk. I still have it.
You think it’s the first time you seen this catalogs 😂 that’s what they want you to think tho 😂😂🎉😂😂😂😂
Anyone else catch his closing statement?! Love you too bro 👊🏼

When you said you grew up and lost interest in toys that you were gonna say you started looking at the bra section of the catalog 🤣😂
Do a review on Kissing Krane Christmas knife. 😎👍👍
Great video

Ooooh we’re that dumb lol 😂
if you do decide to get a leather whip, avoid anything sub $200. they are going to be trash.
Have you ever watched EDgun Leshiy? If not check his channel out. He does pellet gun videos.
