101Facts I have been a South Park fan for the longest time and have seen all their episodes multiple times. Big fan. Been one since I was in middle school. I always respected the humor for the show; and always thought it was one of the best. However, something happened when season 20 showed up. At first, I thought it was looking like a pretty great season so far and liked the idea of it going in a different approach. However, when the writers found out trump became president instead of Hillary, WHAM, the rest of the season became rushed and unfinished because of current event time changes, and I realized it didn't really have that complete South Park charm it had before. Heck I even realized there wasn't a single time that year where you saw the four boys together. Kenny only made like one five second appearance in that season. That's it. Nothing else. Forgive me if I'm being too harsh on the show. I do know that there were a lot of funny and classic moments in this season after all. Just kinda baffles me when the plot didn't go the way it was supposed to and plots were left there hanging unfinished.
The trick I used to watch it as a kid was watching it in English in my ipod touch, and since neither of my parents speak it, I could listen to the most profane jokes ever aired on tv and my parents would have no idea what they meant so they were cool with it
Another fact regarding #73, at the time if you used 400 curse words in a film, you're film would get the NC-17 rating... No idea who made that rule, but they were testing the limits by making it 399 :P
@Corey SnootsFamily guy tries so hard to be funny, it feels forced and puts pop culture references and sex jokes every 5 seconds like "hey kids we are modern and cool, watch our show". and it's clearly a ripoff of The Simpsons. As in the south park episode, the writing staff might be manatees and if not, they have the same amount of creativity and intelligence. It's just gag, over gag, over gag, over gag..... For every fucking episode over and over again, even AC/DC's discography is less repetitive.
when i was 12-13 i was OBSESSED with south park. as a result, i’ve seen the movie 11 times. i still know all the words to the songs from the movie, and still quote south park all the time.
technically Issacc Hayes son came out to clear the air about the removal of Chef. Issac Hayes actually suffered a stroke that caused him not to be able to perform the character properly
Thanks Sam, this was enjoyable. The last few lists haven't been of interest for me, so this felt like a return to a regular routine. It would be cool to see 101 facts about Hollywood's Oscar Awards......(or BAFTAs, or Grammy Awards, or Golden Globes, or Broadway's Tony Awards, or Primetime Emmy Awards, or........I think you get the idea)
My mom let one of my brothers watch south park in 1997 because she thought it was just swearing. That was until I became a fan and we watched south park together I was still allowed to watch it, just not mention it
Eric Cartman reminds me of Jonah Hill as a cartoon, if they were to do a live action movie of South Park cast Jonah Hill as Eric Cartman, Jesse Eisenberg as Kyle, Justin Long as Stan and Michael Cera as non other than Kenny.
My cousin got a copy of the Spirit of Christmas from a friend who worked with Matt and Trey. We laughed at it. I guess the women they did the focus group were probably the same ones who were in the Beavis and Butthead focus group.

I was born in March of 89, I remember when i saw South Park being promoted to air for the first time on tv with cheap lil ads. and I saw the very first episode Cartman gets an anal probe... im 30 now... and have still continued to watch support and love south park! :D somethings in life just never die...
The person stating he was sick and didn't quit, is correct. His own son said his dad had a stroke and wasn't even coherent enough to quit. To this day no one is quite certain of who called to quit on his behalf. Trey and Matt also confirm they don't believe it was his idea. His son insists he wasn't a hypocrite and wouldn't quit over scientology jokes, ignoring all the other offensive stuff in the show.
Isaac hates actually stayed on after the Scientology episode and when he did leave it wasn’t by choice, he suffered a stroke and while his mobility was limited, a letter was sent on his behalf from Scientologists resigning from the show. It makes me so sad seeing how many people blame Isaac for this.
Actually, I don't think Issac left South Park because of the Scientology episode. I think he got something which took away his ability to talk, and someone from Scientology signed him off the show. His son said his dad wouldn't be so hypocritical (with the show making fun of numerous things)
Isaac heyes didn't quit South Park he had a stroke and someone quit for him without him knowing he was made to go and tell them he doesn't want to do South Park anymore and even Matt and trey said he seemed to have been sent to them. Unfortunately he'd died a few years later so we'll never know his side of the story
I'm surprised they didn't point out how the heads of Canadians are different on the show or how the creators' love of Star Trek: TOS has been reflected in several episodes.
Isaac Hayes didn't chose to leave South Park. He had a stroke and the Church of Scientology made the decision on his behalf, despite him having a family to make choices like that.
There's a site called 'click safe' (shows you how to save yourself from cyberbullying, what copyright is etc.) that uses the South Park style. We had opened that page in school in a project week about bullying, and I tapped on my friends shoulder and said "That...looks like South Park...or not?"...yeah

Kenny has actual lines, he doesn't just mumble nonsense
Mesut Bektaş He also talks throughout the South Park game as Mysterion. But parts of his face is covered up, tho.
Huh, never knew that. I gotta catch up.
I’m well on my way to being a kenny transcriber
@@stealthclaws1157 I can translate Most of his lines but not all of them
