I found that changing the sparkplug in the polaris sportsman 570 bike to be a challenge today after watching this video. Standard tool kits have six inch extensions or three inch extensions that connect to the 5/8" socket back to the drive. The six inch extension is too long as there is insufficient clearance to unseat and remove the spark plug. The three inch extension too short as the spark plug is set too deep. So I had to use various work around solutions that include leaving the socket connected to the spark plug and using both the six inch and three connectors plus a four inch nail to disconnect extensions from socket. Overall polaris has engineered that you likely have to have a unique Polaris socket tool to remove a speak plug that they recommend removing every 25 hours of run time. I want to use standard tools. Not some unique Polaris tool. This video should be more clear in this issue
hey nice vid. new sub. just picked up a 2022 570 and sold our 06 500efi . wow what a difference. only draw back is 20secs into first break in ride Release Brakes warning came up. dealer informed since they transport them in crate with parking brake on it some times affects the cylinder and its not really on but thinks it is and brake light stays on. they have to order new part and will take care of it. I have to say the spark plug is easier to get at on this machine then the 06 version. nice job Glenn

Why does my spark plug rubber thing not want to come out? Lol so I need to just yank it? I feel like I might break it.
I think the torque spec is 9ft lbs

Yes plug was pretty fouled up. Ew one has been good so far.
