I recently got back into Dragon's Crown a few months back and was instantly reminded why I loved it. It sank its fangs back into deep enough where I beat the first difficulty with every character and then immediately started playing through hard mode and have beaten it 3 times so far with Amazon (best character), Fighter and Wizard. And you can't forget that unfairly delicious looking food in the game. I wanna eat a dragon and the Killer Rabbit. I still can't believe that's a boss fight. I would love a sequel with some new characters, specifically a brawler/martial artist so I can punch the monsters in the face. And now I need to try out The Takeover and Fight N Rage. I have _Dragon's Crown_ for Vita with 650+ hours recorded and later got _Pro_ for PS4. I'd kill for a Switch port, though I would love if they could make the equipment drops in the Tower of MIrage less random (and also shorten the tower to something reasonable -50,000 floors is ludicrous - but that might just be me).

Ha! To be honest, I didn't want to overdo it after the fulsome foursome in Dragon's Crown. And to be fair to her, Yaksha's wearing a perfectly sensible jumper, not iron nipple tassles.
I have to admit, I wasn't sure about the game the first time I played it, and I ended up leaving it for a while. When I came back some months later - I assume I was just in a different mood - it really started to click. It's a lot more involved and rewarding than many other beat 'em ups, even if certain things, like the runes, seem needlessly complicated at first. But hey - sometimes you just want batter people to death with a few flashy combos in a traditional brawler, and I'm fine with that, too!
I wish Vanillaware would start porting their games to PC. Even though I own the original version of Odin Sphere for the PS2, I would happily buy the updated version if it could be played on PC. I simply don't buy consoles anymore.
It definitely has some bespoke mechanics that take a minute to adjust to. You could argue that the little bloke who follows you around, gathering up treasure, is a bit superfluous. But like you say, the positives far outweigh the negatives and it gets really addictive. Thanks for watching!
@@Video_Games_Forever I like that little guy! I hate those runes and spells. I think there should also be more stages. But overall, I really love this game.
Ninja Savior is a side-scrolling Hack N' Slash, not a Beat 'em Up. If anything, Street Fighter is more "Beat 'em Up" than Ninja Savior. There's enough game content to separate videos into Hack N Slash and Beat 'Em Up.

Thanks for watching!
I tried playing Dragons Crown. It was so goddamn complicated, I just gave up. Just give me a true old school beat em up.
I'd pay good money for Dragon's Crown on PC
That's a pretty common request, and understandable. Vanillaware/Atlus, are you listening?!
I wish Vanillaware would start porting their games to PC. Even though I own the original version of Odin Sphere for the PS2, I would happily buy the updated version if it could be played on PC. I simply don't buy consoles anymore.
River City Ransom Underground and River City Girls 1 e 2 are the best.
Yeah, I like the River City Girls games. I think the recent sequel is particularly good.
Haa! 4:49
Is that SS3 Ken from Dragon Street Ball Fighter Alpha Z?
😄👍
Looks like he's also a bit of a 80s rock fan, too! Bon Jovi would be proud.
@@Video_Games_Forever Haa! Yeah, Slippery When Wet and and all that. He'd fit right in if they were all on stage at the same time.
😄👍
Knights of Veda, best!
I haven't played that one, but the artworks looks great.
me and a friend actually playing dragons crown in 2024 ^^
I'm very pleased to hear that. I need to start a new run soon myself and experiment with one or two new weapons. Enjoy, and thanks for watching!
I don't think the comparison of ronda roussey and stormy daniels does vanillaware's visuals justice. That's a horrible combo!
Ha! I think you're right, to be fair. Vanillaware are indeed great artists. Thanks for watching!
Crimson gem saga is the best rpg for PSP.
Dragon's crown is great. It has some very weird mechanics that just dont work.
But the game is awesome
It definitely has some bespoke mechanics that take a minute to adjust to. You could argue that the little bloke who follows you around, gathering up treasure, is a bit superfluous. But like you say, the positives far outweigh the negatives and it gets really addictive.
Thanks for watching!
@@Video_Games_Forever I like that little guy!
I hate those runes and spells.
I think there should also be more stages.
But overall, I really love this game.
You play Dragon's crown for booby I play Dragon's crown for dwarven supremacy.
We are different.
Ha! I really like the dwarf, actually. He's my character of the moment.
So uhh, what is Dragon's Crown available on?
Just curious.😅👍
Ha! Good old Vanillaware. They do like their... 'engaging' art!
Hopefully dragons crown comes to the switch
Street of rage 4 and huntdown.
For what system is dragon crown pro? Is there a way to get this working on a PSP emulator?
Hello! It's for PS4. Interesting question about the emulator, I'm not sure. I bet someone will know, though.
Vanillaware games shd totally be ported to the PC
Ninja Savior is a side-scrolling Hack N' Slash, not a Beat 'em Up.
If anything, Street Fighter is more "Beat 'em Up" than Ninja Savior.
There's enough game content to separate videos into Hack N Slash and Beat 'Em Up.
ppl r crying out for a Dragon's Crown PC port and I've been doing the same for years
sadly if that happened we'd also need to brace ourselves for the controversy and flaming war on the same level of Stellar Blade if not worse
Can you get Dragon's Crown for PC yet???
Not yet, sadly.
*cough cough* emu *cough* lator (I do own the game on PSN so must be legal?)
Give us Dragon's Crown Pro on PC!
No Pure Onyx?
Ah, now that's a different video...
How to play dragon crown on pc?
I play Dragon´s Crown for the story
The story:
No Jitsu Squad?
Great shout, love that game. Maybe that one will turn up in my next beat 'em up video...
River city girls!
