I had a cystoscopy done by my urologist and he said I don't have BPH aka enlarge prostate. He told me I have OAB overactive bladder. But I'm very confused because my symptoms are more related to men with enlarge prostate. For example, when I take a shower, I pee like 3 times, and when I pee only a little comes out. Also I am dribbling when I pee. Also sometimes when I have to pee i stand at the toilet for like 5 minutes before it actually comes out, and when it does come out I have to strained really hard for the urine to come out. That's not a symptom of an overactive bladder, is more like their is a restriction at the urethra and is blocking the urine from coming out because i have to strain hard lots of time for it to come out. Can a Urologist please help me clear this issue?! Thank you
I use intermittent catheters. You have to ask for it and insist on trying it. It has been a great relief for me. I have the same symptoms you described. TRY THE CATHETERS !
I've been without a period for 22 years now and I am only 57 but have had kidney stones along with incontenice for awhile I talk with a Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist at least once a week over the phone she had me use a tens machine ,exercises, and still no relief in my incontenice issue my next step is I am going back to see my Urologist to see what other options I have or do you have any suggestions thank you

Progesterone is a diuretic so that's why you pee more in that phase of your cycle. Can also sometimes cause constipation.
When you feel like you always have to pee- bladder pressure and fullness. Is this overactive bladder?
