Without any second thoughts, they treat people in whatever way they want to attract more like them. They desire their followers to unquestioningly follow their lead. They don't accept responsibility for what they do.
People who are in serious relationships with narcissists might feel that they have no option but to go along with every demand of the narcissist. Narcissists are fragile individuals with low self-confidence. They're always worried that people will have a bad opinion of them.
