Hey Brooke, I've been watching ALL of your photoshop videos over the past couple of weeks because as part of my degree, photoshop was not required, neither was sketchup (believe it our not), but having been in Adv/Mkt for 1,000 years, I knew how important it was to have these in my arsenal...you are so clear, so concise, and such a great teacher! I have learned more from you in 2 weeks than I learned in a semester! Thank YOU! keep posting!

    Hey,
Great videos have been learning a lot. Quick question. How to I take the floor plan and place it in my Indesign portfolio. When i try to place the image it contains the white space!

Make sure you save it as a PSD, TIFF or PNG with transparency saved...or you'll end up with a white background.

I usually do a DWG to PDF.

Brook that's normally what I do too to render. But in this video you're using a .jpg to adjust the b/w. I've tried this technique on my PDFs and .jpg and it's not working. Are there any other settings you're using that I should know about?

Brooke, in what form do you bring your CAD drawings into Photoshop? Do you plot as PDF? JPG? I'm having difficulties with PDFs keeping my line weights. Thanks! Tammy
