I used to work at apple as a genius. You’re not wrong. Also to add, there’s usually only a handful of geniuses at every store but a lot of customers think everyone is a Genius and most staff just end up agreeing rather than correcting and explaining

No step in that process was unnecessary. This gets it perfect every single time. You obviously don’t need to pay someone to put it on for you if you want to save money but if I’m paying that much for a screen protector I better get it perfect and that’s the service they offer. I see nothing wrong, you either pay for it or you don’t it’s that simple
It is a quick, reliable process that doesn't require any skill, just tiny bit of practice to memorise the steps. I have been putting them on by hand since the iPhone 6, in a semi industrial environment, ie we get through a fair few. Even after fitting 300+, the odd one still has speck of dust under or is not quite aligned.
That's so much theatre for only installing a screen protector, my daughter 12 years old installing screen protectors on her phone with no problems, Genius you are killing me.....

Apple glues them on now, and actually your phone won't work at all if you try to have it replaced by an unauthorized repairman. In fact, because it's glued you'll have to replace the screen too, which is glued to the board, and that will also have to be replaced. Really ma'am, it would be cheaper for you to just buy a new IPhone.

I remember when Apple use to blame phone failures on screen protectors and phone cases. Because the screen protector adhesive was “chemically bonding” to the screen and causing displays to fail. And phone cases caused excess heat build up causing the phones to just stop working because of over heating from not having passive cooling.
This is literally my grandma, every time I help her with basic TV stuff she always calls me a genius, even if I know it's basic it always makes me feel like I have 300 IQ. lmao.

Unlike apple android does not include performance reducer updates, therefor my phone works just as well as the day I purchased. Apple and Android both have their major ups and downs. At the end of the day both Android and apple phones are great. Which someone wants to get is completely personal preference. Both phones types are good options and will serve you well. Once again I am an android user, and there are multiple things that tick me off that apple does but android doesn't. For one thing, reliability. And don't even get me started about how android only updates their phones for 2 years. The iPhone 6 is still getting the latest updates, and the only reason older android phones don't is because they want you to pay for the new model, simple as that. Anyways that's all for my rant, bye.

My android phone has a cracked screen, a shattered back, my camera is full of scratches and the aluminium body is full of deep scars.
A Ford Transit with almost full cargo went over my phone screen up and my screen survived with no visible damage, the glass back shattered, yet kept intact. The phone suffered no interrior damge, no performance drop.
Since that accident, I dropped my phone several times and even though it is full of battle scars, there is 0 performance drop, and the phone is unbent.
Unlike apple android does not include performance reducer updates, therefor my phone works just as well as the day I purchased.
I see no reason to keep arguing on this topic as everyone can spend their money the way they want.
You attacking me on the other hand was an assinine act. You came to the conclusion that apple and android on the same level and you attack me, while the commenters above me said that apple is so much better, that nobody wants android.

I wouldn't drop 150 on a screen protector but I'd probably spend 10-15 plus the cost of the protector for a professional to apply it. I suck at putting them on. I have like a 75% chance to put it on and mess it up.
