I got rx10-ed already a while back… I’m super deep into it. Among other applications, I wouldn’t run a vocal track without it. Once you try for example de-mouth-click and heard the disgusting stuff it removes… 😅
It's no even close. All the processes on RX are spectral, strip silence is nothing different than cutting the noise in between words. Not even in the same universe
You can also remove "hum" with Spectral De-Noise. This sometimes works better than the De-Hum module.
For sure, many modules can be used "off label" with great results!

Absolutely not. Never use any processing if it's not necessary.
