Ok just wow, it looked amazing but now I know it sounds even better! Maybe a bit on the pricey side but I'm sure it's worth it, and I hope they drop a sale soon!
I came in thinking "oh great, another stupid vocal effect plugin, but this thing sound pretty damn good! Thanks Low Heat for the video. Great quality as always. I'll add this to my shortlist and keep an eye out for a good sale.
I tried it for the first time today in Cubase 13 Pro. It didn't perform very well for me. Nowhere near as good as I'd imagined. Lots of artifacts and for some reason , it changes some vowel sounds = peculiar! 5 days to get my money returned. (Hope it works for you 🤞🏼🤠).
I want to sing as badly as possible and use an additional sine wave for the real melody, transforming it into a perfect male or female voice-with perfect pronunciation, of course!
@@fallenleaf24 I am not speaking of realtime voice function, that has an impact on quality/latency. I am reffering to a spoken track, how good is the quality?
@@elihusolano5993 I cant see this being any better to be honest. did you hear it?.. it was not great. it sounded like poor filtering.. spoken word is MUCH harder than singing as there is no constant tone. there are services out there that change the spoken voice but they are the typical AI buy credits rubbish but the quality was good. Voice mod can do realtime voice changing & its was leagues above this & its $10.. lol depending on the source & destination is amazing.. I think even the free version can as well. but limited & its not really a pro tool .. its a gimmick
@@elihusolano5993 I've just bought it for this specific purpose. I produce an audio drama and I'm hoping to use it to give a wider palette of voices to use, for my own voice acting and characters, mostly. There are lots of presets, and probably about half of them can give decent results. But a lot depends on the kind of voice/accent you record - some work better than others. For reference, you can actually get a much more convincing male to female voice conversion than any pitchshifter or formant shifter I've ever used. I have experimented with the cloning - but again, it really depends on you approximating the vocal phrasing and mannerisms of the voice you're aiming to sound like - it's quite funny, but you kind of have to do a bad impression of them in order to sound like them! Obviously, given the legal/ethical nature of voice cloning, it's not going to be something I use in my original creations, though. You can create fusions of cloned voices and presets and create entirely new voices, and I'd hazard a guess that even the actual person you've cloned wouldn't recognise it, but I still don't think I'd risk it! So yes, it will require some careful work recording with accents, but I think I'm going to be able to actually write, voice and produce a convincing multi-character audio drama completely solo using Vocoflex, which is pretty unbelievable
@@jimcogan8542 You have no idea how much I appreciate your response. So just to confirm, If I want to make like, let's say I have a voice clone of someone with a southern accent, I wouldn't still need to voice act with a southern accent in order for it to pick up on those nuances and it. then makes a voice more sound like the clone voice, right? And I agree regarding the cloning of voices and ethical dilemma is very important. I wouldn't use it without actually signed waiver or something like that. Ethics is very important with this. My use case that I am looking forward to when I get Vocoflex, is for conlangs. Getting a friend to say something in a madeup language and then I pronounce it as it actually would go and use the software to change the voice to match the character. I know that it wont be as great as they are artificial languages and vocoflex still has a basis on English or Chinese. But I hope it works. I want to worldbuild but add an aditional depth with the narration and dialogue to be in the language of that world
Seem’s interesting, but no free demo is madness. No one will pay 200 for something they can’t try and test first. I’d love to be able to test it and see if it will work with what I want to do, but I need to know it will work first. Not sure why there isn’t a lite edition like they have for Synth V
I agree that it's on the expensive side, but consider that it's the only plugin that does what it does, so there are no cheaper alternatives if you want this in your DAW. Also, if you catch it on sale it will be cheaper.
This software can not clone Cantonese properly 😪 it can only clone Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish… There are many other AI Clone better than this😂

Also hoping for 50% off on Black Friday, then I'm in 😊
It was on sale up until a week or so ago, so, I'm sure there will be another sale at some point.
No DEMO, no PARTY
Fair enough

Hey, I appreciate you watching fam, glad the vid was useful for you!
I own SynthV and love it! It beats Vocaloid by a lot. I didn't know they had made this new plugin! That's going to be my next purchase 😊
Yeah for real, should be a great combo with Vocoflex.

Where can I find this Chuck Sutton track? It sounds amazing! 4:10
In Ableton Live 12, it's the demo track.
Damn!
Is there a video on your youtube channel where you make this instrumental for "Good together"?
Hey, glad you ask, but no, there isn't. I made it about 6 years ago and back then I wasn't posting regularly on RUclips.

Can this take my own voice, and then use it over a midi melody to automatically sing the correct notes? :)
Nope, you will need Synthesizer V to do that.
Can you sing and use there voice for the vocals? So you record your vocals then apply the plugin and add the preset??
You can use it in real-time too, I showed it towards the end of the video (I did it with spoken word, didn't sing, because I can't lol).
yes a killer plugin easy and fast to get the timbers
haha this is amazing

That's what Synthesizer V does - you write the melody in MIDI, write lyrics for each note and you get a perfect voice with perfect pronunciation.
Why can't I purchase even though I documented what this problem is?
How many presets it come with?
I don't remember exactly but it was a decent amount, more than 20 at least
What about not vocal for music but dialog? does it work?
did you watch the video?

bro what are your one knob ableton racks
Hey thanks for asking! I do have instrument and effect racks but they aren't one-knob racks, so I'm not sure what you're referring to.
Interesting 🤔
Can you take a voice (for example Bing Crosby) and make it "sing" like Beyonce (just for fun, not to do any copyright illegalities.)
Yeah, why not, you can make anyone sound like anyone.
Can it copy your own voice and make you "sing"? That would be interesting
It can, but I'm not sure if the end result is gonna be good if you're really bad at singing though 😅
it'd be interesting to have a good singer's vocals morphed to my/other's vocals since I'm not a singer
