why do you dim the screen colors every time the "before" or "bad" version is happening? Also, what is the relevance of any of these compressor moves when there's no music. There's no idea about the arrangement of the song or if any compression would be needed. The vocal is basically just getting brighter and harsher and the dynamics being removed. Without any context how would we know this a strong artful decision? I just see wiggly lines and the screen getting brighter when it's supposed to be better. IF I close my eyes i just hear a lot of processing with no objective.
This was a FANTASTIC tutorial. Very informative and givin me some techniques to try out next mix. The only thing i would have loved for you to touch upon was atrack and release times of each band, and how you might adjust them accordingly. Thanks again!
Man. Ive just realized that i was using this plugin without understanding it. I didn’t even know there is low mid and high written on it. You are a blessing bruh.
Hey great vid again , just wanted to know where on the vocal chain would you put this ? End ? Or before any effects? Or maybe the beginning and at end ? Thanks
Having a good vocalist, doing a good performance through a decent microphone - this should come first; so when you boost those high frequencies like shown, you make good harmonics pop up and not crappy off-pitch frequencies
Hi Bobby, I clicked on the link to receive the free e-book but instead I received an email to subscribe to your newsletter even though I am already subscribed. I still clicked on it but I didn't receive anything after. I tried again a second time but still nothing. Weird!
Very good video and remember you're free follow nobodyyyyy
I guess modern vocals are crazy distorted.
I used and put C6 on everything for 2/3 years, which is still useful. Great content once again
Can you do a follow up going through the attack and release settings?

Nice. Do you prefer C6 to something like ProMB for this?
Thank you for this vid bro. Quick question, would i use this in mastering as well? Same technique?

That's a great point! I'll have to do a follow up as some point!

Yep
Hi just a question when in the vocal chain do you use this? Will this be your main compressor? Or will this be added on top of your main compression?
Question, where is this sitting in your vocals chain, what's before and after it?
Ok-I’m not a big “comment” guy, but you deserve a round of applause for this video. Excellent job explaining the power of a multi-band compressor.
I like to use FabFilter Pro-Q3 for this purpose. It has oversampling and has no EQ crossfades.
BEST VOCAL TECHNIQUE EVER
Bien❤❤
Thanks for your tutorial mate. I like C6 too 👍
thank you so much.!!!
thanks BOBBY ! I like a lot C4 and C6!

I usually put this in the beginning of my chain before compression. Hope that helps!
Great! Thanks
At the end " know the tools You crack" :)
Lol! 🤣
confused
Nice!!
Love it, thank you so much!
Multiband is where I struggle because I get ear fatigue quick lol

excellent bobby..thanks..
Damn I've always liked multibands but I never tried to dial in settings like this. Sounds really good! Thanks for the vid!
It seems to me that after is far better but not ready. It sounds a bit honky
Just need to make those final touches using a stock EQ around 1 or 2kHz :)
THIS IS AWESOME!
BRAVO!
