The Four Nations have now entered a new era of peace and love. But in spite of this, there's one thing that still lingers in Fire Lord Zuko's mind. The greatest mystery that has yet to be solved: the fate of Ursa, Zuko and Azlua's mother. The dysfunctional brother and sister set off to the village of Hira'a to uncover the truth about their mother, and maybe mend their broken bond in the process. Avatar Aang and his friends join the two to help support Zuko and to make sure Azula doesn't break their temporary truce. Will the group find Ursa and reunite a mother with their children, or will they uncover secrets that are better left buried in the past?...

This is without question one of the most ambitious videos I've made for the channel. And that ambition plays a hand in why it took so long for me to finally finish this video (on top of trying to balance several other projects and dealing with real life issues as well). I cannot thank both my actors and fans enough for being patient and understanding while I tried to get this video off the ground, and a massive shout out to my good friend @LuckyJack020 who helped make the last stretch of editing this dub possible.

I can't promise when Part 2 will get finished, but I'll do my best to make it as good as this one, maybe better. Just be patient with me since I have other projects I'm currently working/helping on as well.
(also sorry for any slight editing mess ups you see during Azula's escape, I thought I caught them all. I'll try to be more vigilant about that in Part 2 ^^' )

Azula is at her best when she’s crazy and paranoid. I just find it amusing to see her mother saying she loves her only triggers Azula to have an mental breakdown.

Its not even a wedding ,Ursa herself could not be happy. She was force to marry a power hungry prince so she will make them powerful firebenders heirs, she wasn’t allow to see her parents or boyfriend ever again, she wasn’t allow to mention them either. She was a prisoner for the royal family. There wasn’t anything she could do. Ursa wasn’t a firebender and if she reject the proposal. Azulon would had made things worse for Ursa.
Ursa got her justice when she killed Azulon.

17:04 too many fans say that Iroh thinks that Azula is a lost cause. However here Iroh is open to possibility of Azula changing. And I think the search is a turning point in Zuko Azula and Ursa relationship.
In the series iroh said that cause azula wasn't gonna listen she hadn't reached rock bottom like zuko now she's at the same stage zuko was in book 2 and will probably make the same mistake zuko at the end but she's not a lost cause

I would rather do 100 eps of fear factor before watching that movie again.
This is the closest I've gotten to my dream about the show continuing with the original cast,the original age ,the original plot namely finding Zuko's mother but not realized in a real life movie with human actors playing it or spin offs like Kora but really just this comic narrated in the characters voices is amazing. That was such a niche thing I was looking for and thanks to your channel and your dedication,we as true fans get to enjoy this. Thank you for your effort 😀

Since Orion Zaxs voiced the Earth Kingdom Sage, my headcanon is that he sounds like Peter Cullen if he were hypothetically canon to the show.
Imagine if Ursa say no to Azulon and Ozai? They treated Ursa a trophy prisoner. Azulon and Ozai was so proud that she was beautiful. Forcing her to make firebending descendants, desrespect her village, never letting her see her parents.
i really cant imagine being in her situation, the powerlesness of knowing the only thing you can do is to lie to your boyfriend to save his life, to abandon your parents and your whole previous life
As beautiful and kind as Ursa is, I wouldn’t to be in her shoes. Leaving her life behind when it was already great for some tyrants who doesn’t care or give her a choice. I get that she couldn’t be with her boyfriend anymore (I hated that part) but not letting her see her parents again and that she is their property is just plain evil.
Ozai and Azulon are just like the celestial dragons and world nobles from One Piece where they can own whatever person they want and make them their slave. I can’t stand slavery.

Maybe, but the audition process when casting for this dub was a lot less fruitful than any project I hosted and Sam was literally the best Aang out of all the ones that tried out
18:36 National Tea Appreciation Day? Hmm. Sounds like a nice holiday actually. Iroh is already being a better Acting Fire Lord than Azula, who just banished people for pretty much anything. Considering how much Iroh loves good tea, he probably made sure everybody gets some great flavor in them.

That's awesome work. I watched the movie first but I wish I had watched this one, Voice acting is far superior and I hope to see you cover other panels even in manga just to help cover grey areas and be also entertaining enough for it to be enjoy-able for me and the viewers.

Azulon stated that they specifically chose Ursa because she was a direct descendant of Avatar Roku. Given the Avatar’s past history with Fire Lord Sozin, Ozai likely just wanted her as a trophy for some kind of sick power move.

I love it soo much. But they have done worst to worst with there voice. Frist it’s not same as “the promise” and “the promise” voice is not same as live animation movie
I didn't dub the Promise so I don't know how they sound in whatever dub of it you've seen
Also it's already difficult trying to find spot-on sound-a-likes for this show, so I'm pretty proud of how close my cast sounds
