it starts the other way sometimes. when it spins the wrong way it sucks air in the muffler and presses it out the carb. and throttle up stalls the engine.
IT is wrong rotation. It should follow the blades.. (i also did this mistake.. came to find out, the air was blowing infront of my face the whole time.. lol)
I just bought the ABC version of this motor. I have two ring versions that worked well. Likes to take its time breaking in

this is the right rotation it is called a "kick back" start
sometimes you have to spin it backwards to get it to spin the right way. like when you start it normal but it bounces back and pushes air at you.

Carb is backwards. Throttle arm should be on the right side not the left.

No it does not!! It turns the opposite direction, but that doesn’t mean it sucks air in through the exhaust and spits it out the carb!
