está intentando enseñar español de forma eficiente, no creo que memorizar la pronunciacion de tiranosaurio en español sea muy eficiente. en cambio t rex es facil de memorizar sobretodo si eres anglofono. que se os tiene que explicar todo...
A palabra《 rex 》está en Latín, non Inglés, con todo 🤔

I have plentiful resources to learn Spanish, but it's been a challenge to be even marginally successful. I appreciate the basic (youthful, child like) presentations like this as much as any (the picture and puzzle explanations have been enlightening). There are always things for me to learn with repetition or various approaches. Thanks for sharing, gracias

in spanish, (as far as i understood it), one uses para and por for the word "for", but what is the difference between those words?

Interesting about patas vs piernas. That will probably stick.
Hmm, the dinosaur still has brazos. If you were talking about a monkey or ape, would it still have "patas" and not "piernas"?
I feel like the general rule is: if they are supported by their four legs touching the ground, they are patas. (Ex. cats, dogs, lions, zebras...) If they can stand on two, and use the other two for something else, they are patas (the ones they stand on) y brazos (what they use for sth else). Ex. monkeys, koalas...
@@spanishafterhours huh. I tried looking up the origins of both. Both say Latin. One says "pata" might have been an onomopiea, so like the sound of hooves/paws, like the sound of a horse or dog walking. So maybe it just sounded less dignified to use that word. Like "clop" is used in English to refer to the sound of horse's footfall; it would be weird to use it with a human, except maybe to be funny, insulting, or make a point of them being loud or something. Anyway I'll try not to refer to a person's patas. =)
Well I finally figured it out . The 2nd part of your last weeks Village Vlog is for your Patreons ! I haven't become a Patreon yet because I haven't set up an online account at my bank or got a mobile plan from Shaw , my internet provider ! Couple that with the fact that I only go into town twice a year because I'm extremely antisocial. My bank will not do a transaction without a verification code sent to a mobile device that does texting . Wow--is this ever complicated . Never fear though , eventually you will have a new Patreon aka : ME ! And then I can watch that 2nd video . Oh yeah , I have to apply for a Credit Card too ! I could have just sent cash but , that would be too easy right ? Anyway , hope everythings good at Uni ! Ciao !

@@xiaomilou6982 I'd have to Google that, but I don't have paypal either--my bank is not set up for online banking , it's a bit complicated , you need to be able to receive text verification codes from the bank to make ANY transaction , for security purposes so I have to get a mobile phone . Just wanted to say I may be following one of your language learning platform recommendations sometime in the coming months assuming they don't fix Duolingo; they've indicated that they won't. So, even though you've already done a video about that topic -- which I'm going to rewatch -- it may be worth covering again or calling back to your prior video. Assuming it's not just me that is displeased with the changes, it may be trending topic.
yes duolingo became so much worse than it was before

why do you think so? It's been a while since I used the app, but I'm going to check it out, see if I get what you mean!
@@spanishafterhours Roughly speaking, the content is about the same (identical, I think), but they force you through a particular order that is mind numbing and not at all how many of us have been consuming the lessons. They're also flatly requiring you to do a bunch of review that much of the time is just slowing you down. Also force you to do the "stories" in-line, which is not how many of us liked to do them (if at all). At the moment they're hiding behind the "oh you just haven't given it a proper chance yet" line. I've on a plan that includes others, so they have my money until that runs out. For now I'm just doing the bare minimum on there vs going at it often hours a day as I had been. Anyway, mostly I wanted to let you know that is likely (I think) to be a trending topic.
