What zooms were you in? Probably could have inserted the zoom ranges on screen though. But so far I think you did a great job getting the best out of the lens. It's cool. Am split between the 28-300 and the 18-300 right now. I love doing wildlife, birds, cars and motorcycles and then architecture. Which do you recommend?

I never had the 28-300 but I love the 18-300 I have used it a lot. so for me its the 18-300.

I have only one question - can it focus while zooming in video?

Its not easy to zoom in and out with it for video so I did not do that much - but when I did it was hard to tell as the focus is so fast it locked in what seems like right away. Same with clear image zoom that is a lot more smooth as you can control it and its zoom speed.
