Hi - Sorry for commenting on this particular post as it does not relate to my inquiry..For the last 8 months i have been searching high and low for someone to do a micro weld on a tiny item for me...needless to say ive joined a handfull of forums and posted my inquiry everywhere and it seems like soldering/welding tiny jobs is a completly lost art or i have to travel to China or India where " no job is too small or too big" lol. I cant send you pics on this page so i will briefly describe it. I have an item that is made of brass with nickel finish, apparently forum-heads suggest i need "Silver solder with a strong acid flux" to repair it. The item in question looks like shiny silver and further suggestion was that i may need to get it replated but anyway, i would appreciate your headsup, do you do this type of soldering/welding?
