Near enough for me, first week in the car so any starting point works! @@Erilla01

How do people get this fast. I thought my 1:23 was fast. How many laps do people usually practice to get this quick. My qualifying pace is always low and then in the race i am usually a cpuple seconds faster

It depends on many factors, like how well I know the car and track, and if I feel I can get more, but usually take a good amount of laps.

@Erilla01 I guess practice is the key. I've done another 20 laps or so and I've gotten it down to the low 1.22

I drive only mx5 in top split so i know the car super well and i have sim raced 2 years, got me 18 laps to get a 1:21:446. Usually i practice 2h split to 2 days around 50 laps total. Using fanatec elite v2 and simagic alpha mini ( dont kill me but i have bolted them in my trusty old wheel stand pro, it works i guess, at least i am fast 😅).
Practice and watch your replay in chase cam to see if you are using all track, be smooth get exits right and have fun!! You'll get there i am sure 😊
