How to fix ABS light Blazer Jimmy Bravada S10 Sonoma after replacing both sensors

I replaced both front speed sensors and the abs light would keep coming on and off. so I checked the wiring and sure enough it was the factory crimp on connectors.

Thank you. I need to replace my right side according to code check and after viewing your video will also give the connector wires a looksey as well. May be worthwhile to just go ahead and perform same as you and just solder them together. Good video. (1996 Chevy S-10 P/U)

Thanks for the tip I just got done cleaning out the sensors and ss housing were the teeth and magnet meet it was filled with grease qtiped both fronts and cleaned them up nice but a couple hours later same problem

I remember our 1998 Honda Accord having issues and all I did was unplug & plug back in sensors and then reset the check engine light. Great video though, I'll remember to check my grandson's Blazer to see if this could be his problem....

Do the rear brakes also have a speed sensor with drum brakes?

I have a 1999 Chevy blazer 4.3l v6 4wd do u remember how to check the back S sensor I am having my cb at low speed kick on the abs

there is no sensors on the rear. if abs kicks on at 15mph or less then take the sensor out of the hub and sand down where the sensor meets the hub untill its nice and shinny. clean the sensor good and blow out the hole in the hub real good. should work perfect after that. if there are shims on the sensor take them off only if this doesnt work. and make sure when the sensor is bolted down that it doesnt contact the teeth inside by moving the hub back and forth and listening and feeling for a grind. thats what i did to mine and it worked after that. i had a spare after market hub that didnt have a sensor on it. i used the stock sensor with the shims on it and the abs would kick on everytime i hit the brakes. took the shims out and cleaned it nice and not a problem since.

yup after fixing those wires i havent had a problem.
