    Whoever gets the yellow this tour has been amazing, by far the best I've ever seen. I'm rooting for pogacar's triumph but it was worth every second I spent in front of the tv. I went from a casual to a huge fan. What a sport!!!

    No summary will do this cracker of a stage justice. That being said, amazing job of giving the main protagonists their flowers. Loved how you took the time to show Izagirre riding down to the finish line, showing what it means to him and then doubling down on it with the interview. How you showed MVDP attacking, leading but also trailing. It's these moments along with the beautiful intros and the commentary that make it possible as a viewer to get a grasp on more than just the result of the stage

    QUESTION: 30 km solo for the stage winner Ion?? At the time of the break, I thought it was hopeless. How can someone go 30 km with no drafting and outpace those who are drafting? My answer: different riders are strong on different days. This was his day. PS: I like comparing the French race reports with the English translations. 3:00 'The break are at the foot of .. the mountain". In French, "The escapees are at the foot of.." Breaking out from the Peloton IS like a prison break-out. :)

    If they are separated by 5 secs start of Paris stage is that stage a full on race? No promenade? Are there bonus secs Paris stage?

    why don't they put them in some sort of protective bodysuit. this looks like a dangerous sport. the falls look scary. Like a perforated leather suit with u know elbow shoulder and knee padding and helmets with a front rail. unbelievable this is so primitive

    • @lexusenthusiast6414
      @lexusenthusiast6414 Год назад

      1. Heat: a suit like that would be far too hot to perform 4+ hours of riding at the pace they're doing, in French summer weather particularly.
      2: Friction: a suit like that would most likely cause an awful lot of chafing on people who move around all day.
      3. Weight: you would have to carry the additional weight up every climb, which is going to take a lot of energy.
      4. Aerodynamics: you would most likely have more drag, requiring riders to expend more energy for the same speed.
      3 and 4 are debatable though if you make such safety measures mandatory, it will be a level playing field. But even helmets were resisted by the peloton for the longest time, until they became mandatory.
      This is a high risk sport and sadly grave injuries and even deaths aren't an uncommon occurrence.

    The videos are too dramatic for me. You don’t need to make a movie out of every video. It only lengthens the video in the age of internet where there are too many content to consume in a limited time. I miss the videos of the old, where simplicity was maintained. The main video starts for me once the race begins. You are trying to do too much. The radio is also not really necessary, as I can see that it’s taken from formula one style. I never missed having radio in the cycling race. Things were good before. Just my opinion, Cos the drama was bugging me. I just want to see the race. I have other things to watch also after that.
