You can crown the elementless traveler during the tournament right before getting to Inazuma. You can just throw a crown into the void 😂

@@McNeuvillette Before you get to Inazuma, you gotta win the tournament that Beidou's holding.
During the tournament you aren't allowed to use elements and have to use elementless traveler, which you could only use at the begining of the game. Up untill you touch Barbatos' Statue.
While being elementless you can upgrade your normal attack.

What really pisses me off is that their absolutely same auto attacks counts as "different styles of combat" and require raising in each element
I guess that last attack of anemo/geo (and not even electro) is what makes it "different"... it pisses me off too lol

Take it as raising three different characters. You only need to level it up once and they give you the mats and cons for free so eh. Fine by me.
On the "plus" side, the Traveler is pretty weak-sauce, so there's no reason to raise the Traveler much regardless. Meaning you can raise her for an element if you really like how she plays with that element, and ignore her for the rest.
Hey moga just so you know, Shogun's sword attacks don't trigger Electro MC's ult procs since they're considered "Elemental Burst Damage" and not "Normal/Charged attack Damage".
Seems like MHY really hates electro and the idea of giving them normal based synergies that other units have no problem with.

And yet Xingqiu works just fine with Shogun for some reason.
@@tarekatorr Xingqiu ult works by pressing the normal attack button while Electro MC and Beidou work when hitting a normal attack. They work completely differently mechanically and that's why Xingqiu works with Raiden and Beidou/Electro MC doesn't.

If someone else picks up electro traveler's amulets, the skill CD will decrease, allowing you to cast it again sooner.
Electro traveler's burst works well when used with a character who doesn't have full energy. Take Yoimiya for example, with the 4pc shimenawa's reminiscence set, Yoimiya loses 15 energy when she uses her skill, but with electro traveler's burst, with each thunderbolt that electro traveler's burst hits, Yoimiya's energy is replenished. It's basically a battery version of Beidou's burst.
Electro traveler's kit works more of a supporter role than a dps despite being the main character xD
Don't underestimate them, they defeated a gaint dragon, a god and an archon with a mere dull blade!!
it's because none of the archons atm are dps units, they're all made to be supports hence the traveler is a support, maybe when we reach Snezhnaya or Natlan they will be solid dps units

Geo traveler isn't bad as well, with the new characters coming up, you can have geo traveler as crit rate buff
Ikr! i have super bad artifacts like 1/11/10 (with c6 btw,they arent 80/90 sadly) and they can do 4k crits without buffs! a lot for a ar 49 I think player like me :D

I was just looking through my achievements literally just an hour ago and noticed I never actually changed my traveller to electro because the achievement wasn't unlocked. I'm like, how could I possibly not have done that yet? Im ar56 with 100% on all inazuma islands. It's crazy that i never even bothered to test out electro traveller.

Pretty understandable, really. Traveler's role tends to be to fill the role of an element, but to do so in a way that you only use her if you don't have other options. Like why use anemo Traveler if you have Sucrose or geo Traveler if you have Ning? For electro, the situation is even worse. First, it is later in the story, so you have more time to have gotten other options. Second, there are more options out there. Favonius and sacrificial weapons can fill the energy generation role, and without an annoying "pick up items" way. Beidou, Fischl, and Raiden can all do the electro bonus damage thing, while even Lisa can provide continuous electro damage, just tied to an area. And of course, there are other off-field damage characters in other elements, like Xiangling and Water Dude. And third, the character has split scaling, so can't provide both energy and make good use of her burst, something further compounded by her elemental skill usage not giving her particles, but instead relying on you having to pick up the spawns. So it is a one note character, while the other options (energy generation weapons or off-field damage characters) provide parts of both, a more complete package.
Now, I like geo Traveler, and I don't regret investing in her, but electro Traveler is talent books and mora I'd love to have back. One of the weakest, least useful kits in the game.
I mean the Traveler does suck. I think Traveler is just a consolation prize in case you do not interact with the gacha system at all and you have a character that can be used to interact with electro mechanics in the Inazuma overworld.

i dont know if you ever go back and revisit characters, but imo youre testing electro traveler wrong (or at least not to her full potential)
electro traverler is a battery for energy hungry units, like beidou, xingling, noelle, etc
i would suggest you try the following team: electro mc, yoimiya, beidou, bennet. you will be surprized at how quickly you can fill up beidoi's burst with this setup

@@RandomPerson027 sacrificial sword or favonius sword, i personally like favonius because you can cast e, switch and rush to the amulets while favonius particles travel to your character and get boosted by the extra er, but with sacrificial sword you can cast e, pick up amulets and cast another e that give extra er bc the amulets work on the electro traverler herself.
also yeah eosf its basically the way to go artifactwise

WOOO electro Lumine! I haven't built her myself (prioritizing my supports / sub-dps first, plus I just finished re-farming her geo artis) but it's exciting to see others build her! Her electro kit is heavy on the ER support side, but that won't stop me from making her a DPS lol (I mean I'm gonna crown her, so might as well!) :D
i think it's a nice demonstration of traveler's role in a team as a battery and dps support. seeing how she does in some different comps/roles would be nice!

What I normally do with my Dps Diona and Traveler is a kind of trade thing. I start with her alt and do charge shots with Diona from there. When it expires, then I hold Diona's E and switch to traveler to activate her E. Since she's built as a physical DPS I think this rotation works well.

My team that I run is physical Keqing, Xinqiu, Traveler, And Diona. Xingqiu Q and Travler Q are similar and work good electro conduct with high physical attack. Plus a strong shield with superconduct when Diona Q is up.

I believe this talent domain give 25% electro damage bonus and the electro items in the domain give periodic electro damage so it’s better to check in open world
electro traveler is like a new character with a different element but already built (if you ever plan on building her)
I found out that Electro Travaler is a good combo with Mona, like a little taser team, with hydro damage and electro passive and she has an hydro damage bonus based on 20% of her energy recharge
traveller’s Q with yanfei’s attacks is amazing
I’ve thought of a taser comp with beidou and traveler with childe to supplement bds lack of single target with travelers and vice versa obv 4th slot is flex

I'am a new player (just reached Ar50 a while ago) so electro mc is a great battery for me because I don't have bennet or fischl. She can recharge Beidou ult and Xiangling ult very fast in my team especially with sacrificial sword

I wasn't sold on Electro Lumine until I saw how her Burst actually worked. Basically making her an electro Xingqiu. I still like Anemo Lumine the most, but Electro has definitely become a new favorite of mine.
Finally, the traveler is really good i main my anemo traveler and he does really good dmg i dont know why people say they are trash even tho its just them who dont know how to build
The lighting from traveler's Q is basically what the auto attack anemo and geo do, having using them for a while now I think I understand why electro doesn't have the same AA effect as the others since Q does that already
Makes totally possible that if another future region has the off field Raiden slash in either the E or Q AA won't do anything. Overall traveler kinda copies the kit of the archon so if you don't have them it's a decent "budget" option I guess?
Though as a traveler main I wouldn't consider them that, as is not an exact copy and people that use traveler either like their play style more or just keep using them cuz they like them. Back when Inazuma came there was a lot of people that was disappointed traveler became a support, when really they have always been a sub dps and probably will continue to be as more regions come.
At any element though their kit is kinda confusing so is understandable if you happen to have a unit that performs in a more easy to learn way why they're usually benched.
