The bull is Itto’s only ability that scales off attack so use it at the start/end of his ult for a hu tao style final nuke hit. and the benefit of gorou for itto even without c6 is that the defense boost helps Itto’s attack stat, but also increases his charged attack damage by a % of his defense, AND when you use gorou’s burst it gives itto an additional 25% defense boost, AND gorou gives 15% geo boost
Fav bow is better on Gorou as it has more Energy recharge and Gorou's own particle generation is terrible, so the extra particle from Fav Bow is better. Going 2pc ER and 2PC def is better for overall support utility, could go 2pc healing bonus if he is C4. Don't bother building for dmg on Gorou, its pitiful, Def Gob, Def Sands and Crit rate hat for the Fav bow proc.
favonious bow is much better for gorou compared to sac bow, that is because his skill by itself doesnt generate much energy, so resetting his e's cooldown isnt as efficient edit. also 4 pc husk is not so good for him, 2p husk+2pc emblem is probably his best in slot. If you are going to raise Gurou, please dont waste materials on his ult- levelling up his ult only increases crystal collapse dmg, so as long as youre not building a dps gurou its not worth. Only his E makes sense to level up for a support Gurou.
but 2 husk 2 emblem is taking away the geo bonus and making it so the ult charges faster…. if you’re not leveling up or focusing on his ult then why emblem?
Albedo's E snapshots, so to take full advantage of Gorou's buff you need to use Gorou's ultimate (flat DEF + 25% DEF from his passive) and then place albedo's flower on the ground so that it snapshots all the buffs
Tips for raising Gorou: Fav bow is probably his best bow as the sac bow has essentially a useless passive for him due to his skill having a 100% up-time and it doesn't produce many particles Getting Def on his artifacts isn't ideal, he has a set def boost from his skill that isn't raised by artifacts or weapons. Nobless isn't his ideal due to him buffing Def scaling allies rather than Atk scaling ones. Don't waste resources in raising his burst due to it only raising his sub-par burst dmg. Prioritize ER for Gorou.

Full Noblesse works too if you have mono geo without bennett or any other noblesse user if you have enough er in subs. At least im using that and have no energy problems (although im running ningguang albedo zhongli gorou so and itto team may need more er)

Gorou is the second four star I raised as soon as I got him. He's a very amazing support for Geo teams but his ascension mats are a pain in the butt. Regardless, I'll continue farming for him until I raise him to my satisfaction. Also just some tips as I am raising Gorou as well: Favonius Bow is better for him than the sacrificial bow since his skill doesn't have too much CD plus you should have you burst ready with just two uses of his skill. In artifacts, use 2 pcs Emblem and 2pcs Husk. Try to prioritize ER while also giving him DEF for his buffs. Lastly, you should level his elemental skill>elemental burst>NA since there is not much difference with his skill and burst

Honestly a really good option for gorou is 4p noblesse oblige, Since the 20% atk is really good for albedo's burst, Zhongli's burst and even itto or noelle., with a favonius bow and some er subs he doesn't have many energy issues and you usually have plenty of def so 2p husk isn't that huge.
i mean tbh the fact that gorous burst follows you around is very convenient especially for characters who do a lot of consistent dmg and run around the field like ittou

I don't know how far I am till I unlock Inuzuma cause I want to raise itto so BADLY. I'm happy doing 2K/3K with him, he's so fun
i think gurou's best set is a four star set, the exile. this set is really good for gorou if you want him to be full support. it gives him ER and and it provides energy for the whole team. you don't need a ton of def on gurou, as it only boosts his ult dmg. plus favonius warbow is really good with gorou. *you should have a crit rate circlet

Actually is very good leave Gorou at 70!He's a very low cost support,his main buff is his elemental skill which only scales levelling up his talent (don't scale of his actual defense if I'm not wrong),his burst is not that much worth upgrading bc it only increases the damage of the crystal collapse,4 Pc husk on him it's not good either bc only his burst and self DMG scales of DEF,if you want him to deal DMG and support you can put 4 Pc husk but still the best in slot is 2pc emblem and 2 PC husk,his best weapon is favonius warbow with a crit hat so it gives more particles. Gorou is a very good unit mainly bc of his low cost upgrading and he's not dependant on good artifacts to do best what his supposed to do which is buff Geo Charactes.

Try this Itto on 4 husk Gorou on 2 Petra 2 husk Zhongli on 4 tenacity Ninngguang on 4 noblesse with trilling tales. Zhongli skill > Gorou bust > nin skill then burst > itto walk trough jade screen > itto burst

If you want to raise albedo dmg with gogoru you need to place albedo e after gorou ult or e bc it snapshots for whole 30 sec duration ;)
