Yeah, i was one of those people who tripple crowned itto immediately after release. I dont care if he was meta or not. When i first tried him, i was so surpised to see 65k damage (that was before i built gorou). Im so confused where that damage came from. After another domain run, i figured out it was ushi. Now that i have gorous e at lvl 12, ushi can do over 100k easily.
If he is built correctly I do believe that it will do more damage because his atk gets boosted so high. But it is small and doesn't petrify. My only problem is that you cannot aim up with it which is sad when you just want to launch it to the stupid archer enemies right above you.
Unless u have spare time and mora i dont think you should really raise it, even though it hits hard its damage output is usually around 2 or 3 charge attacks and a single talent takes like 400 thousand mora to lvl up to 8.
Moga, you should use Favonious warbow on Gorou and give him crit rate hat, def goblet and ER sands(if you are having trouble with getting his burst) so he can battery Itto better
You can technically get a bit more in there, but yeah that's the general gist. For anyone interested that also changes at C1+ cause of his stacks, as it's then: Burst-E-Kesa-N3-Kesa-N1-Kesa which gives more DMG.
Other advantage is that it will also give back some energy and you can easily fire it off at least 2 to 3 times per burst after each charged attack run...won't be huge amounts of energy but it's still a slight bit...tie it together with an offscreen skill from another characters (especially Albedo's E) and you'll get energy back pretty fast while doing huge amounts of damage with each E (roughly 5x that of his normal attack...hell i'd say 8, 10, 10 for his talents would be best for players with enough resources to get 2 crowns but don't want to go further than that).
Electro traveler is actually good for itto's burst uptime since both normal and charged attacks proc the traveler's burst and give energy(he is a universal battery)even at low investment
im using electro traveller wth him as well👍🏾 my Itto always have his burst 24/7 (my Itto has only 110% ER) but wth traveller oh boiiii. My main team Itto, gorou, zhongdong and aether btw

Tbh, beside of Baal, Itto is my fav character so far. The first 5 Star I ever C6. Great personality, nicely balanced, no bugs/not broken. Kit working as intended, constellations making sense and fun/smooth gameplay. Just great designe. Didnt think MYH would be able to put out charcters like this anymore, looking at their mediocre history lately. Lets hope they keep it up for 2.5 and onwards:D
Idk if it is bug or intentional but when you do a quick burst button (alt + 1,2,3,4 for pc) inside gorou's buff Field, it doesnt get counted or itto's burst doesnt snapshots when you do that so you have to manually switch to itto and manually cast his E burst in order for the DEF buff to snapshots
@@cantthinkofaname9736 Noticed that too. LIke you said, no clue if its even a bug. Maybe since the Burst animation is a I-Frame it doesnt work? Need to test this with other characters who snapshot to see if it behaives the same.
@@cantthinkofaname9736 not a bug. He snapshots his defense for his attack buff on cast. If you burst instantly, there will be no time for the def buff to affect itto. Beidou has a similar problem with bennett because gorou and bennett's buffs don't apply instantly.
Been playing around with Itto for the last week and he needs at least 120% energy recharge and Gorou as battery with favonius\sacrificial bow and a ton of er too. That's his biggest problem, especially with bosses when there is no external particles from dying mobs. Even in his quest where he has 135% er it feels like not enough...
Idk, I don't really see difficulties with getting his burst in abys or in overworld... well, on bosses maybe yeah, but otherwise it's not really a problem. I have him on 133 ER with Zhongli on fav lance and Benny with Xiangling or Albedo (bc I didn't get Gorou 💀).
I just now realized just how ripped Itto is the Oni brother has a friggin 8-pack set of abs, this is a man who followed 100 sit-ups portion of the One Punch Man regiment.
Try Gorou with Favonius Warbow and 4pc exile, that will help your Itto get his burst back. Give Gorou ER sand and crit rate circlet (to activate Favonius bow passive)
I gotta say, this is probably the best farming montage so far. Also can't forget about the ayaka farming montage too it was epic too gosh, moga videos is just *"godmode"* and also his characters too ofc

The thing I love about Itto is that despite not being the strongest DPS in the game, he’s almost unanimously agreed to be the strongest male DPS AND one that many people use and love a lot, he has his flaws but he’s generally a really well designed character
Just a recommendation- if you add ningguang to the Itto team, she’ll add the extra third geo member affects plus she’s great geo battery! She recharges my Albedo in like .3 seconds
i've heard that itto snap shots the buffs when he uses his burst. so once you activate his burst you no longer need to stay in the buff rings from your other characters and just go ham on the enemies wherever they are and don't worry if the buffs fall off or the battle moves on xd
moga here's one tip to use itto's burst more smoothly: when he's on burst state his first, second and third attack will each give him 1 stack and the forth will give you 2, so by doing his whole combo you get the maximum number of stacks and you can just start charging away. one thing that you can also do is trying to avoid HP as much as possible so when you cast his E the little bull disappears pretty quickly (cuz Ushi inherits 100% of Itto's HP), which is good cuz it'll give you 1 stack for casting him and 1 for him disappearing. This way you can get 2 stacks without having to do his last attack which is nice cuz the animation takes too long. So the preferable combo would be: elemental skill, 3A and that should give you the 5 stacks, granted Ushi disappears in the midst of all of that (best to do when you're surrounded by opponents for obvious reasons).

Use Ushi after he uses his Burst. You can use Ushi twice during the burst, it hits harder than Zhongli’s meteor and generates a very decent amount of energy. Doing this, by the time the Burst runs out, the cooldown is about done and you’re almost recharged
The wolfs lose resistance when attacked by the same element so they have like -5% resistance after enraging that's why you were doing a lot of damage still
As a heads-up the biggest damage rotation for c0 is burst > cow > 5 charge attacks > a few normals & cow > another charged 3-5. basically you can get two charged rotations and two ushis which represent a solid ~20% of your burst mode damage
Btw when playing Itto in his burst you should still throw out the bull. I noticed you weren’t doing that. The bull’s damage is also increased by the ult which lets it hit sometimes more than the final hit of Itto’s charge attack.
Try this itto combo: E-Charge Attack-2 normal-CA-CA(cow duration ends plus 1 stack). Basically spam those last CA everytime you get 1 stack since it deals more damage. I hope this helps itto mains.
You can cast gorou E Q before going into itto Q. Itto Q snapshots the defense buff of gorou, so you dont have to stay within gorou's banner after you cast his burst. Meanwhile he doesnt snapshot bennett buff (because its still atk buff)

As someone still trying to collect enough characters to make a decent team comp, my current team is Itto, Noelle, Gorou, and either Ningguang or Raiden. I find that Raiden makes a really good off field support because of her shield, her energy recharge, and the off field electro damage she does with her e skill.
Fastest way to get your burst up is with Electro MC + Fav Sword. Good for overworld team where everything just dies in one hit and you don't need more dmg. It's a one tap to get full burst. In the abyss you don't seem to have any issue so just keep using what you had.
I pulled my Itto on Friday, and I’m happy I did. I don’t pull on weapon banners, so I gave him a Skyward Pride instead of Whiteblind. He hits really hard and I couldn’t be happier with my new Oni friend.
for geo battery i personally use Ningguang with the favonious codex and Gorou with the favonious warbow, both with crit rate in the hat! I quickly have Itto's burst full again before his CD ends :) edit: i don't have zhongli lol

Pro tip: Use his cow when in burst mode! The multiplier is insane and can even out-damage his final blow with full stacks.

C6 Itto give 70% crit dmg with charged atks. Ningguang or Geo mc can act as a battery for Itto. Raiden works too for 4th slot.
