In the past couple of months I have watched more vids on making jewelry, mainly paper beads, than you could imagine...This is the first one that I actually understand everything so clearly. Thank you so much for no noise background, no music, no overtalk, and making everything so clean and crisp to understand..Thank you..I think I understand now.

OMG! I've watched at least a dozen videos and I have 3 different size paper cutters. Not once has anyone shown or explained that it was possible to use a cutter to make the paper strips for the beads. I have all the materials needed to make the beads, I just couldn't sit here and cut out dozens of strips for my granddaughter and her friends. Now I will precut everything that is not nailed down! THANK YOU SO MUCH! You have made my day, month, year and like the youngsters say - YOU ROCK!

I just saw this and wow did you open my eyes. I make paper beads alot. I'm disabled and like to make them for gifts etc. I have been cutting every strip by hand! Never thought of a cutting board!!! And the embossing. So less messy than dipping in Modge Podge or painting on hardener. Thank you for sharing. Beautiful!

Thank you Gina, for sharing your knowledge and skill. You explain it all so clearly that an older lady like myself can easily understand it. I would love to make something for Christmas gifts and I do have leftover decorative paper from other crafts I have made so it will be quite economical for me. Best wishes to you, Yvette 💖🌹🇦🇺

Hi Gina! I've been beading for many yrs. doing peyote, herringbone, bead weaving etc.. but this technique for making paper beads is by far the easiest way I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing this easier way to use up my paper scraps. Can't wait to tryout this technique. I have everything but the little tool to twist paper. I used quilling tool. Thanks again Gina. Also you look fantastic!

I really enjoyed your video today. I never wanted to make paper beads before cause I didn’t really know what you’re expecting I thought paper are you kidding what where that you explained it and then you demonstrated so beautifully that I decided that I’m going to try it myself especially because I’ve got tons of paper I can use. I’ve been watching you for years and I appreciate how specific you are and how to do some things so that we have success. Thank you very much Gina

Thank you for this tutorial. I have made paper beads off and on for several years and recently have made Pandora-like beads that have an opening designed to slip onto that style bracelet. That style requires 2 strips...one rectangle, one triangle. So fun and so pretty! Your method of coating with UTEE, I have found, is definitely the easiest and results in a nice glass-like finish. In case it is of interest, putting paper bead roller into an ebay search results in 5 roller sizes for just under $10. Thanks again for sharing your creativity.

Fun! The blue really does look like a mineral. Super glue is the trick! I had instructions on a special knot that was designed for this slick cord but it never worked. I finally ended up using a crimp bead plus cover bead & that was the iron clad solution. That bracelet is never coming apart again

Love your video, very clear and helpful. When I do bracelets or necklaces, I use a little spring clip to keep beads from coming off. It is one used to hold papers together but small and works great. Just unclip when you are ready to finish. Love seeing you using the embossing powder. I have been wanting to try it. I also use the gold and silver 2 mm. Caps to finish off my beads. They work great on the small hole beads. Keep up your great videos, they are great.

Love this, and I hope to try it at some point. What gorgeous beads, and you are right--I think that paper you don't want would be PERFECT for this!!! Gina, years ago I watched your Stamp TV--all because I'd seen a gorgeous card using "A Year Of Flowers" stamp set by Melanie Meuchinger on Splitcoaststampers, and that led me to Stamp TV and buying that stamp set as my first cling rubber stamp set. The first tutorial I ever did of yours was creating cracked glass, so I bought the Utee for that and it lasts a long time. I look forward to trying these beads. Your bracelets are glorious, I can only imagine what a thrill it is for your family and friends to receive your gifts of bracelets. Thank you again for showing us how to make these beads! You are such a blessing to all of us who love and appreciate learning from you. Joanne

I like how you used UTEE instead of brushing on resin or lacquer. A lot less messy process of finishing the beads. I also like the eyelet idea. Really like the spacer beads you used. They're sort of a double ended bead cap. Wish I could find them from 1 of my wholesalers.

UTEE is Ultra thick and will give your beads a smooth glass-like feel. The regular embossing powder could work if you do several layers so it's worth a try!

Can I use something else to turn the paper to make the bead. Also to make the bead glossy , can I use another type of glue. This will be great to make with students at school. Thanks
