Haha, yeah right. Ariel asks questions that make me worry about his safety sometimes. He really grills some fighters. That's his job. Meanwhile, Karyn Bryant lobs softballs at every fighter and tries to be their best buddy, which is definitely not the right thing to do.

Ariel is one of the few who makes interviews interesting. He has his tongue firmly planted in his cheek & if you paid attention to his interviews you would be well aware that he is a facetious bastard full of sarcasm.
Were it not for a character like Ariel, all of the interviews would be predictable & boring. He keeps humour in his approach & a level of intelligence that is so lacking by countless other sportscasters & interviewers in this sport. The man is keenly funny & has a sharp whit.

you can tell dana was lying. jon didnt say he wanted to hurt chael, dana made it up to attempt to promote the fight a little more. you can just tell how uncomfortable dana got when ariel called him on it. dana knew he lied and got caught
the more I watch the things that Chael does,the more I think he's just a genius,as opposed to being an asshole. remember back when Ali would talk shit non stop? granted he was better at backing it up,but half of the world wanted Ali to die during his prime,he wasn't nearly as loved as revisionist history makes it appear. I started out hating Sonnen,and now I'm starting to think that he's just THAT good at being the "bad guy".

To be quite frank, Dana was quite rude in this interview. Personally speaking, I must say that if someone spoke to me in the manner that Dana did, i.e. "yes, you do bore me", I would have left.
Ariel needs to do his job, and so has to put up with it, I suppose - I don't like it-wouldn't tolerate it and neither should he.
