It doesn't matter how old we get, there's always a hint of the little boy we once were to be seen when the big block and super unleaded are in play. Great video. Glad you have The Bird decently sorted.
Lol even as a little boy reading over and over a coffee table muscle car book my dad bought me… I found the superbird ridiculous looking (in a bad way). I only liked it for the road runner lol.

I think they're all great in their own way. I love the pure beefiness of the Hemi, I love how quick the Mustang winds up, and I love the noises that big-block Chevy makes on the overrun.
I'm with ya, I've never been team mustang, but team Shelby all the way. IMO the 1967 Shelby GT500 is still 1 of the best looking and sounding cars ever, and anything Carol Shelby did in his early days holds a sense of raw power and graceful designs.
I'm glad that I got to contribute to the Road Runner experience with the vacuum pump to make the drive more comfortable with the absence of the racket made by the previous setup. Your enjoyment of it is contagious. 😀
Hoovie you really have out done yourself with that last 30 seconds of this video . I could not stop laughing 😂 . That was incredible and I have been subscribed to your channel for about 2 years now . I love and look forward to every video that you post . I’m so proud to be a subscriber that I just purchased 3 of your shirts . I’m a car guy myself so I really love watching you and the Wizard playing around . Thanks for all the great videos and putting a smile on my face no matter what else is going on with the world. Sounds like all the Mustang’s horses are pulling at the same time and in the same direction. The Corvette in stealth mode (?) and the ‘Bird just throwing stuff at the wall knowing enough will hit to make it go.
The small fixes are what make it a memorable journey to an awesome car! Those are what you tell strangers at gas pumps when they ask "what all did you do to this car?? Looks great!"

ALL three American Classics are beautiful DREAM cars plus Lambos Ferraris etc LUCKY guy AND he has a beautiful wife and kids, what MORE could a guy want apart from the bank balance to keep all a float.🙂
All three of them are amazing - I live in NZ so we have very few American muscle cars on the road here, so they seem super exotic to me, much more so than Lambos and Ferraris - every damn farm owner where I live has a Ferrari and the swarm the roads on Sunday afternoons - but when you see something like a 60's Corvette, that's special.
I’ve owned a sbc powered 2nd gen camaro more than half of my life at this point. I’m man enough to admit a well built and tuned sbf sounds a bit better than the equivalent gen 1 sbc.
The way that Bird shakes from all the Torque from the HEMI is ridiculous! Hands down my favorite classic that you own. Glad to see it finally sorted out a bit.
I think the coolest thing is that Tyler never loses sight of where he's come from and just how cool the dream that he's living is. It's always refreshing to hear him say that.
Glad to see your Superbird make some progress. My buddy had an orange Superbird with the 440 Six Pack and the Hurst shift 4 speed, back in the late 70s early 80s. Reverse didn’t work, but that never bothered us. We would go Porshe hunting with it.
Love this channel. But please, just for your safety, pad that rollbar or upgrade your seatbelts and seat. Once you cage the inside like a race car, the bars are really close to your face and head. Slightly less of a problem if you're wearing a helmet but with semi stock seats and stock seatbelts, even a minor collision will bounce you around A LOT, and even a low-speed fender bender becomes an issue with a round steel bar six inches from your cranium. Hopefully I learned that, so you wouldn't have to. :)
gotta say,im proud that you finally hit the home run with the Wizard and Jay polk over 500 horse and torque, and Driveable ! Good Job Hoovie ! you finally look Happy :)
It’s amazing that this channel really started for me with a broken 745i a few years ago and look where he is now, im 26 and started a hooptie fleet of my own complete with an e38 740il, an e39 5speed Manuel 530i, a 98 1 owner Dodge Ram with 48,000 original miles. And 2003 sl500.

When you say "It's a car" we know exactly what you mean, "It's finally doing exactly what it's supposed to do. Awesome good for you.

As much as I love and lust after the modern and new - and probably beginning with a "P" and ending with "GT3RS" - there is something undeniably satisfying about the sound of American muscle. That rev-battle was amazing! Easily one of my favorite moments in the history of the channel. Thanks for sharing something I never knew I needed!

The Mustang sounds the best. The Corvette is the prettiest. The Superbird is the most outlandish.

That ending was worthy of Top Gear material.
100% true - very good OG top gear style... Hoovie FTW

The Wizard's cameo made me smile.
That’s hoovies real strength a total love of all amazing automobiles, be it 60s American muscle to Italian v12

He must have good neighbours to.
The ending music was "The Blue Danube", by Johann Strauss II. Generations know it from "2001: A Space Odyssey" (1968)

I agree, that mustang is an absolute beast.
All 3 sound amazing but the Ford takes the cake.
That hasn't changed as the years have gone by. Even today, the Mustang sounds better than the Challenger or Camaro SS.
Corvette guy here and that Mustang sounds the best.

The mustang & Plymouth are by far the best cars on the channel 👌 big love from Liverpool England 🇬🇧
I like how the mechanic talks like its so simple. The - looked at this and that, cleaned those up - style is great! Especially when he's talking about rebuilding an old race car.
It takes an expert to make something sound so simple. Hoovie found the right crew for this restoration.
