The inspiration behind this video:
A digital artist created a stunning Black Panther 2 fan poster, imagining Luke Evans as famous Marvel comic book character, Namor the Sub-Mariner. The first Black Panther film proved to be a massive success for Marvel Studios following its debut in 2018, earning over $1.3 billion at the box office and even an Oscar nomination for Best Picture. As a fan-favorite of the MCU, it came as no surprise when Marvel officially announced a sequel in 2019.
The long-awaited follow up film, titled Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever, is slotted to hit theaters in July 2022. Returning writer and director, Ryan Coogler, has provided little to no story details, making the next installment of the Black Panther films even more unclear following the passing of Chadwick Boseman. Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, confirmed that the role of T'Challa would not be recast in honor of Boseman. However, the majority of the remaining cast, including Letitia Wright (Shuri) and Winston Duke (M'Baku), are reprising their roles for the sequel. Black Panther 2 will continue to explore the world of Wakanda and plans to introduce a new cast of exciting characters to the MCU, allegedly including popular comic book character, Namor the Sub-Mariner.

I've resisted watching anything to do with this because I wasn't ready. This just made me want to cry. How can I feel like this for a man I didn't know, for a country that doesn't exist? I don't think people realise how impactful this film was. On a soul level.
It was extremely over rated movie. Were you paying attention to the last fight in the movie? The CG was very bad. All of the humor was dry. There are so many better Marvel films.

The obvious move after Chad's tragic death was to have Killmonger assume the role. The end of the first movie left it vague to his demise. And as part of the bloodline he could ascend to the throne after redeeming himself. Michael B is still perfect in that role
