The Shakespearian monologues of lock stock and snatch, combined with the unwavering character developments, and dramatic twists, that play into the tropes of storytelling and culture of the British underworld were almost poetic in their craftsmanship. This could undoubtedly be a magnum opus of television.

Main theme being about high class yet cunning criminals and their schemes and conflicts.

Mr. Giancarlo is the definition of a late bloomer. He's been in the game for a long time but became a beast later in his career. Its a marathon not a sprint. Great actor and this looks like another Guy Ritchie classic.

It's basically "The Godfather Part 1 and 2" British style -- Eddie is the reluctant Michael Corleone, ex-Armed Forces, unwilling to get into the "Family Business", Freddy is, well, Cazale's Fredo (obviously, with the GF2 murder scene in the opening boat/fishing scene from Ep 4 and several other scenes between the brothers an homage to GF2 in Lake Tahoe and Havana, Cuba), Charlotte as Connie, and Ray Winstone as the wisened Vito Corleone type, Blanket as Clemenza and Keith as Tessio, Sticky Pete as a Moe Greene type, Stanley Johnston as a Hyman Roth type, Henry Collins as "The Turk" Solazzo type - even the montage scene at the end with everyone getting bumped off. - Vinnie Jones' role needed to be more fleshed out (will be in Series 2), Guz Khan and his Korean Corn Dogs were hilarious, and MOST OF ALL, Dar Salim should have had a bigger role, since he's a superlative actor. (A- grade overall).
Ray Winstone doesn't even need to say anything at the end of the trailer. The turn of the shoulder is all you need to know that he's a diamond geeza that can create some hurt!
