As a 24 year old male, I can stamp Dior Homme sport 2021 is perfect signature. Today I needed a fragrance to serve the functionality of school, physical therapy, and work (pharmacy). I have 40ish designer and niche fragrances, but Dior Homme sport was one of the few that is able to serve all of those functions. And the performance is the cherry on top.
The Acqua di Parma Colonia line is perfect for when you want to give off a classy gentleman vibe. Although, I'd personally say that Futura is the most youthful one from the bunch.
Justin, your fragrance videos are just something else. Such quality both visual and informative. And also your personality seems really fun and calm. This really makes you stick out to me and that's also why I enjoy your videos so much. Thank you, Justin!
You hit the nail on the head with the last one. I'm in my 50s and I love Bracken Man, which I think is discontinued, though it still shows up at discounters occasionally (I picked up a tester for a good price last year). Incidentally, my SOTD is Rogue's Mousse Illuminee, another terrific niche (really indie) fougere.
I love these videos with signiture scent ideas. However, as a 29 year old man, i absolutely love TF Fougere D'Argent. It is my work scent for the cool weather.
I am gonna check out Voyage. I am gonna be 39 in May, so I'm touching my 40s. I've preferred more 'mature' scents for a long time (I've a '93 bottle of Chanel Antaeus and it's one of the only designers I still wear). I think for my age range, Acqua di Parma, Amouage, and Roja are the best houses! I own AdP Oud, fun and super classy scent
This year I’m turning 35. Honestly I still enjoy the Le Male scent from JPG. It’s about the vibe and how you carry yourself. Fragrances is just the cherry on top of everything else you give out(vibe wise).
At 35, definitely leaning towards the more mature fragrances already. Fougere is definitely a type of fragrance you must have in my opinion, if you'd like to be taken seriously.
Great content as always! Loved the introduction of this video.👍 I totally agree that fragrance is a tool that complements your looks and attitude to create a "vibe." In my late 30s, and one of my signature scents is Bois Imperial. It fits my personality perfectly - approachable and clean and I also gravitate towards fougère fragrances that are often popular with older men, like Tom Ford Beau de Jour, Cartier Pasha de Cartier Parfum, or Penhaligon's Sartorial. Ultimately, though, my fragrance choice depends on several factors (non-exhaustive list) : - My mood of the day - Outfit - Context (daytime errands, evening out.) - Vibe - Weather Fragrance mistakes can happen, like wearing a strong, formal scent like MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 while running errands. It's all about finding the right scent for the right occasion! While I've made similar mistakes in the past, I've learned to adapt my fragrance choices based on the factors mentioned above and I also noticed that compliments comes naturally when the blend of all these factors is coherent.
I am 67 yrs young and have bought several decants you have suggested , i tried one today and loving it I will buy a full bottle, (Alghabra Labyrinth of Spices), the dry down is outstanding.
Great video, and man honestly i dont like people in the fragrance community who have set rules for age demographics and what you should wear, and i like that you aren't a part of it. Now i admit, i am very addicted. I own over 40 bottles of fragrances including Amouge Interlude, İnitio side effect, initio absolute aphrodisiac, TF tobacco Vanille, Amouge meandor, Narcisco Rodriguez Bleu Noir EDP, Layton, Red Tobacco, Ombre Leather , Angel Share, Xerjoff Alexandria 2, Naxos, ect.... And i wear and love all of them. Im trying to look more into Fougeres and Iris Fragrances more of the classy stuff... And your videos inspire me to develop and mature my fragrance taste.
I'm 37 and own TDH Eau Givree and Voyage d'Hermes Parfum, Hermes in general skews mature (and fresh). If you're 30+ and not into bubblegum scents you really can't go wrong with anything from Hermes. The hard part is picking from so many options, I also have H24 EDT/EDP but now there's Herbes Vives and watching this channel makes me want TDH Parfum too... I thought I had moved on to niche houses but I can't stay away from Hermes, and I do think it's in good hands with Nagel
Havent hit 20 but i love Voyage parfum and Tdh, its def a personality thing, another perfect pick for me would be Bdc Parfum could fit in pretty much every age group, and ofc my fav; Zaharoff signature royale x, for 40s 50s Tom ford fougère d’argent is great, my dad wears it and i sometimes steal a spray here and there, smells amazing💯
I think a good way to describe Mr. Burberry EDT is ‘youthful fougere.’ It is one of the most mature of the 2010’s blue fragrances, and could almost be categorized as a fougere within the context of the designer market at that time. I think it was my stepping stone to fougeres which is my favorite fragrance category.
I'm glad you mentioned Bracken Man. A few years ago I had to decide between that and Beach Hut. I chose the beach and never looked back (but will now). As I've matured, I really want to stop smelling like a nightclub. It's amazing how something like fragrance can tell a little of a person's journey (and no, I don't like Journey Man).
I just watched a video the other day on what fragrances a cowboy would wear and thought it was a great idea. Think Clint Eastwood in Good Bad and the Ugly. Or Yellowstone. Cool idea. It would be cool to hear your ideas on that Justin.
I think its about the situation more than the age. You can get a party scent and rock that in your teens or in your 50s, just like you can get a nice night out scent scent and the same person can rock that if in their teens and in their 50s. If its about price, you can get high quality clones if you don't have a lot of money, or high end niche if you really want to impress frag heads.
Age 60+: -SpongeBob by SpongeBob Squarepants. Opens with bright citruses and melon, then settles through an aquatic-aromatic heart to a masculine base of woods and musk. Currently rated 4.87/5 on fragrantica.

I’m a perfume lover since I was ten years old. I own hundreds of bottles and I sniff everything niche or not. I’m 55 and I’m into AKRO. Bake is great. And I’m a serious man.
I once sprayed Terre D’Hermes EDT on myself (I’m in my 30’s) and walked out really happy and loved the smell of it. Once I came in to a room full of people, and everybody reacted the same way. They all asked what’s that smell? Someone smells like an old man. They told to take a shower. 😂 But most of the time, since 2016. I wear Armani Code EDP in the winter and D&G Light blue intense in the summer. I believe those two will stick with me the rest of my life. They get me the most comliments. Once, back in 2018, my boss told me I should be in the office because I smell great and I make the office smell great (I wore Light blue intense).
@@unclekrconzh85 I think that’s why they reacted that way. It was too pungent. People are more turned off by pungent smells than by unusual smells. TDH is not a slouch of a scent. I would honestly go with half of that amount.

Guerlain L'Homme Ideal the original EDT gets a little overshadowed by the rest of the line, but its been my signature scent in my 20s up to this point pushing 25. Im kinda a Guerlain fanboy in general with fragrances but the EDT is the most versatile one at least for me.

Guerlain L'Homme Ideal the original EDT gets a little overshadowed by the rest of the line, but its been my signature scent in my 20s up to this point pushing 25. Im kinda a Guerlain fanboy in general with fragrances but the EDT is the most versatile one at least for me.
Nice!
